This unit has a full kitchen or you may choose to cook at one of the eight double gas barbecue centers on the property. The condominium is fully self-contained, and has been totally renovated.
It is an excellent location for a family vacation or a romantic getaway.

We loved our stay at this condo. It is so spacious and beautifully decorated, and we loved having two bathrooms! The lanai is very large and has a great view of the beach and grounds. The washer/dryer, king-size bed, and jacuzzi (next to the pool) were much appreciated also. We would stay here again if we come back to Maui. The owner was very easy to communicate with.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This was our first trip to Hawaii and my wife and I spent 10 days in this condo. The condo has been recently remodeled and is very clean and neatly decorated. They have great conveniences for going to the beach including coolers, chairs and a boogie board. Kamaole III is just across the street and great for sunsets. Many secluded, sparsely populated beaches are within a 5-15 minute drive depending on where you want to go. Keawakapu beach is probably a 15 minute walk and is a wonderful beach. The grounds of Kamaole Sands are beautiful and the staff very attentive and helpful. We had all the conveniences of being home with the added benefit of being ~150 yds from the beach. I don't believe you can go wrong with this unit and the owners are very helpful in suggesting places to go and ways to save money. The only issue we had was a small one and probably wouldn't apply to most renters. We live in a small town and are out in the country where it is extremely quiet at night. There is some road noise if you sleep with the windows open, but if you live in the city, you probably won't even notice. After ~10pm, road noise is much less of an issue and you can hear the ocean. A pleasant surprise for us, check out took 30 seconds and we had no additional charges. Great place to stay!

This is our first time on Maui and we sure lucked out with this condo. Very well decorated and the kitchen has everything you need and more. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and only steps to the beach. The owner is very accommodating and it is not hard to highly recommend this unit.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.

My wife and I have stayed at the Kamaole Sands many times over the past several years. Without a doubt, this condo has the best upgrades and appointments of any place we have stayed in the past. The owner is great to work with and very accommadating. We hope to return soon.
