Ocean Harbor Condominiums are located on the north end of Pleasure Island.
Second level unit has recently been redecorated, stone counters and tiled with canal views. Simply cross the street to delight in the beach or stay at the private pool. Well behaved pets are considered on a case by case basis.
Owners live just minutes away in Wilmington, North Carolina and available to help answer questions during your stay. We promise to leave you Carolina Day Dreamin' and wanting to return to this One Particular Harbor.

We visited Carolina Beach on July 21. This condo was very clean and comfortable. There were four of us using the condo and it was just the right size. This was our first time in a pet friendly vacation place and I would do it again. The owners answered all of our questions before we arrived and recommended some great restaurants. The beach was beautiful. Our family would definately stay at this condo again.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We just left a visit in this condo the week of August 13-20 2011, nicely decorated and charming. We specially liked bringing our little girl Elsie with us, and she had a great time....! Thanks again for a nice week in Carolina Beach. Angie, David, Cole and Little ERecommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I have to say after WEEKS of searching for the "perfect" vacation spot to spend at the beach and visiting my son and family, I found this location. I just received my packet in an email today and have to say Sandy to owner is an absolute angel! I am not at all familiar with the area and probably drove her crazy with questions but she was wonderful answering them all. Stayed in this lovely condo the week of July 31, 2010 thru August 7, 2010, and had a wonderful time! The condo was clean, comfortable, and was all we had hoped it would be. It was only a very short walk to the beach, the pool was nice, and we really did enjoy the beautiful beach and all the wonderful restaurants we visited. We especially liked Big Daddy's, where we dined twice. While there we visited Fort Fisher Aquarium, Carolina Beach State Park, USS N C Battleship, Boardwalk, and spent a lot of wonderful time at the beach! We really did appreciate being able to bring our little dog, "Gracie". Sandy and Peter made us feel at home, and answered all our questions. A big "Thank You", to you both for making our visit a special time to remember!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+.

About the owner: Welcome to 'Howe Wonderful'! This all started as Sandy's dream to have a place near the beach and for a girl from Pennsylvania her dream has come true. Pete is a local Wilmingtonian and recalls Carolina Beach in its early years. In the off season, we both enjoy working on the condo to make it a relaxing and fun place to come. We know you will enjoy our second home as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Carolina Beach:
Carolina Beach is a great beach! It is has long beaches, little crowds, classic beach feel and dogs are allowed year around on the north end. Finally, being near the beach allows you to enjoy all the beautiful gifts the ocean brings.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Ocean Harbor is a small development in which many locals live year around. The development also has the entire block between the ocean and canal. Tenants often comment how they feel as if they are the only ones at the beach in front of our development. We have even had some that leave their chairs in the same spot for the entire week and they are never moved. Life is good here!
