La Vita Bella was a wonderful experience for us! We came together with family members from NY with us being from St. Louis. I think we finally found our destination for the yearly family vacation! We had 5 adults and 3 kids. The house was so spacious and with four bathrooms, everyone felt like they had enough space (thus, everyone got along really well throughout the entire week!). The pool was great, and the beach is so close. It was never a big deal to run back to the house to get something. Penny (the owner) organized a service to deliver beach chairs and umbrellas designated for our group, and it was SO convenient! In fact, having the beach chairs waiting for us turned out to be essential. We had enough stuff to drag to the beach for our 1-year-old that bringing beach chairs would have put us over the limit of what we could carry. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and we were so relieved there was a highchair and a play-pen available. We had a slight problem getting our linens when we arrived, but I immediately called Penny, and the problem was solved within ten minutes. We are immediately booking this house again for next year.

Our family had a wonderful time, plenty of room with all the comforts of home. As they say home away from home. The home was clean, well maintained and equipped with everything you would need. The owners are wonderful and will do anything to make your vacation as great as possible. Our grandchildren when we got home said we want to go back to the pink house. We highly recommend this property to rent. You probably can't find anything better.

This house was everything that our extended family needed for our stay in South Carolina. Penny and her property management team ensure that your stay will be pleasant one. No disappointments here. House was clean, pool was warm, linens were plentiful, and the home is equipped with all the possible amenities you could need. We will be returning to La Vita Bella if our travels bring us back to Surfside Beach. Great Location, and a great owner that provides above average peace of mind when renting a house. Communication with Penny during this rental experience was fantastic. Rent with confidence!

We just got back today and I couldn't wait to write a review. Who needs an ocean front cottage when you are as close as this cottage is to the beach. Upon arrival I knew immediately this cottage has been taken care of and kept very clean. All of the appliances are in great shape and the furniture is in very nice condition. We will definitely rent this cottage the next time we visit Surfside. Thank you Penny.

Wonderful Vacation/Family Reunion

This house is beautiful and is everything advertised. My husband and I and our family ( 6 adults and 5 grandchildren) loved it and there was plenty of room. The pool is a great asset. This was the first time my grandchildren saw the ocean and we could not get them out of the water. The weather was sunny and warm all week. Nobody wanted to leave the "pink" house. I started the process of finding a place in January, 2010. We are former beach owners from Ocean City, Maryland. Our concern was the drive and condition of the rental...boy, we were so surprised to find the drive of 7 hrs, with 6 mos. old baby and 4 yr old dog a pleasant experience,,,really!!!! La Vita Bella (life is beautiful) was a wonderful surprise. This place had everything we needed and more than we expected. The beach was clean and the area is family friendly. The pool, oh, the pool was wonderful..Thank you Penny and Adam for keeping your place in order. Oh, and the love of a pink home....of course a Mary Kay Director's dream!!! Great memories!

This house is AMAZING! It is very welcoming and decorated beautifully! It is very close to the beach and all the neighbors are very friendly! It is in immaculate condition, as Penny and Adam take great care of it! The pool is one of the best features! I would never stay at a place without our own pool ever again! The house is by far the best location, after driving to Myrtle Beach and going through Garden City Beach, Surfside is definitley the best place to be!! We felt lucky we picked the best location!!! Many THANKS to Penny and Adam for offering their home for a vacation rental, it is truly one of the best I have ever seen!!! And they really make the entire experience so easy!! Thanks again!!!!

Wow! What a great location--right across the street from a pulic access walkway. ...on the beach in less than a minute. There's never any traffic; Surfside's a quiet place. I hope it stays that way. I plan on returning. La Vita Bella was awesome. The pool was ready when we arrived with strategically place palms for shade. The decks overlooking were very relaxing with rocking chairs. The house was as clean as an Embassy Suites and everyone had their own bathroom. The kitchen layout was very conducive to serving a crowd. The ceramic cooktop made for easy cleaning and the cabinets were well stocked with pots, pans, sheets, etc. Outside the showers at the driveway entrance were convenient for returning from the beach and there was room to put your stuff for the next day. It was clean so you wouldn't track sand into the house. There were even beach toys and chairs left, I suppose, by previous guests who didn't have trunk space for the return trip home. After shopping the outlets, I was thinking I might not get our umbrella back in the car! And, of course, it was only two minutes from a great independently owned restaurant! ...at 20 MPH--that's fast enough at surfside. No eateries serve fried pickles in WV so we get our fix in the Carolinas. For the price, La V-B is a good value for a beach vacation. I hope to return soon.

The Phifers, Kidds, Glovers and Smiths just enjoyed their best family reunion in many many years at La Vita Bella. There were 16 of us that used LVB as our family headquarters. The central location to the beach, shopping and restuarants made this a great experience that we hope to repeat the next time we get together. We were mostly adults with only a few kids, but LVB handled all of our needs. Penny made this trip one to remember. Thank you for all of the memories.

During the week of June 21st to June 27th my family and I rented this amazing house located 1/2 block off the beach for our family reunion. Family flew in from Texas, Kansas, Virginia, Maryland, California and Norway. We had the best reunion yet as this house served as our base camp, meeting place, eating place, lounging area and anything else we could use it for. Although we only had 6 people sleep at the location, we had 16 people meet, eat and lounge each day very comfortably. The house was clean and kept in great shape. The pool was refreshing and although small, could accommodate everyone. If we decided to return to Myrtle Beach in the future, we would go out of our way to try and book La Vita Bella again.

Clean, Comfortable, & Classy

We have been renting beach homes for 26 years. La Vita Bella is the cleanness home we have every been in at Myrtle Beach. It is extremely comfortable and a pleasure to live in. Plenty of utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The pool is most appealing and very clean. Talking and working with Penny is a special pleasure.

We are repeat renters to La Vita Bella. It is a wonderful vacation home. Penny and Adam have fulfilled all the needs, keep the home in tip top shape and are always available for anything you might need. La Vita Bella is convenient to the ocean, restaurants and shopping. This property has been equipped with everything you will need plus many extras you don't normally find in rentals. The entire property including the enclosed private pool area is very clean and well maintained. If you are looking for the outstanding rental to have a relaxing vacation, this is the house for you. Beautifully equiped and well maintained house with excellent floorplan that allows multiple families to spread out and enjoy the space. Has all the amenities one needs for a week at the beach. Electronic hardware galore-- TV's in every bedroom, good quality kitchen supplies, beach bikes, BBQ and coolers --Very well stocked house!!! Situated less than 1/2 block from ocean and very clean beach. Pool is well maintained and a nice break from the sand. There is also an outside shower which makes coming home from the beach a pleasent experience. We have stayed in many rental properties and this one is at the top of our "lets go back" list.

Vacation Date: June 28, 2008 Our family vacation at LaVitaBella was total fun and relaxation. Everything in the home and in the area was so convenient. The home was super clean with an "at home" atmosphere. We did the linen package and it definitely was enough with lots to spare. The beach access was really close as described. We used the pool (which was very clean and had plenty of chairs) a lot with a 4 yr. old and a 1 yr. old. In short---this home and area was fantastic. The Minton, Gregory, & Lilly families Kentucky

We were not disappointed with our experience in renting this property. The home was beautiful, comfortable and relaxing. Penny was on top of everything and was readily available for any questions. The kitchen was well appointed. The close proximity to the beach was great since we had to take 3 toddlers and all their stuff. After spending the morning on the beach we rinsed off, spent some time in the pool, put the children in for naps and with the use of monitors the adults were able to enjoy the pool during nap time. We would highly recommend this property!

We just got back home from our wonderful vacation at La Vita Bella. What a wonderful week it was. It was a family vacation that included our small dogs, and we all just loved that. We had a wonderful week. The house was great. The common area was much bigger than it appears in pictures. We probably spent more time in the pool than the ocean. The kids loved it. The only thing we didn't have was a crib and that wasn't necessary since there was a pack-n-play and a baby gate, which we hadn't expected. We'd love to come back again.

I was lucky enough to be able to spend a week at LaVita Bella in August of 2006. The house was everything I expected and more. It was decorated with style and class, very clean and had everything you would need and more. You actually feel like you are home on vacation. The short access to the beach was wonderful having a 1 year old with me. The beach was very clean and the water was great! There were plenty of things to do a short distance away. I highly recommend this house and can't wait to get back there again.

We had a wonderful week at LaVitaBella. It was everything and more of what we anticipated. You were so helpful and went the extra mile. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony,the beach,the pool and the home was decorated so lovely. Allyson loved her Nemo room and the crib worked out fine.Thank you for recommending the Beach Strollertoo. She really used the pack'n play for her naps downstairs. You thought of everything! It worked out great!We hope we can coordinate everyone's schedule for another week at LaVitaBella.It had all the comforts of home!Some golfed, deep sea fished(caught 7 fish),we all dined outfor dinners together and had a wonderful time.Allyson enjoyed feeding the fish at Broadway at the Beach.Thank you for letting us share your home. Fantastic. Best vacation we have ever had with our family! Sons are adults and it was the first time our grandson was able to take a vacation with his father. Took other family members with us and all agreed that everything about La Vita Bella was fantastic. We spent more time in the pool than the ocean, even swimming in the rain at night. Brandon (7) never wanted to leave the ocean or the pool. Would definitely recommend La Vita Bella to anyone. Everything perfect!

The house is much more than we expected. The kids absolutely loved it! Grets for my mom as well with the bedroom downstairs. The pool is the best. There's nothing better than coming back from the beach, hot and sweaty, showering off at the shower outside and then jumping into the beautiful pool. A fantastic ending to a fun day. We just got back from our 10 day stay in La Vita Bella!!! We absolutely loved it and did not want to come home. This home is absolutely breath taking. Everything about it is perfect! My husband I got married on April 23, 2006 on the beautiful shores of Surfsdie Beach. The weather was perfect and so was the house. The location is absolutely perfect and the views of the back deck are very beautiful. We loved that we got to bring our little Boston Terrier Madison! She absolutely loved the house and the beach! Hi Penny! My husband and I stayed at La Vita Bella in late September and absolutely loved it! The house was spotless, had every amenity that you would need for your stay and the pool was just fabulous! What my husband and I both enjoyed most was the location; it was extremely close to the beach and not too far - but yet far enough away from the busy Myrtle Beach strip. We would absolutely recommend this gorgeous house to anyone and will definetly be looking to book again! Another plus was that we were able to bring our 4 legged son to enjoy the vacation with us as well. Thanks again La Vita Bella!

Thank you for sharing your beach house with our families. It was a great vacation - and the beds were very comfortable! The beach was great! Parasailing was fun as well as Le Grande Cirque at the Palace. Many great golf courses - mini ones too! Bubba's Fish Shack was good, Drunken Jack's better.
