The Canary Cottage is unique in Rehoboth for its large gathering areas and PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL, and is ideally situated just 100 yards from Rehoboth Avenue - the town’s main restaurant and shopping area - and three blocks from the boardwalk and beautiful beach.
There’s a room for everyone, from the large and airy sunroom, where you’ll take your morning coffee, to the spacious living room for TV watching or lounging by the fireplace in cool weather*.
On the lower level, the huge great room is the place for creating memorable meals in the brand new open kitchen and dining area. An additional living area with wood-pellet fireplace** and TV lets everyone do their own thing.
Out back by the private, in-ground pool, there are lounges for sunbathing, tables and chairs for reading or chatting over drinks, and a gas grill for that perfect meal.
The Canary Cottage is furnished with couples and kids in mind. There are three bedrooms on the main level: the master (Green Room) with a pillow-top queen bed and a private bathroom with shower; the Mango Room, also with a pillow-top queen bed; and the Blue Room, with a set of comfy bunks. There is a family bedroom on the lower level with a featherbed-topped queen, plus a set of bunks.
There is also a full-size futon in the living room, and a queen fold-out couch in the sunroom.
In addition to the full bath in the master bedroom, there is a full bath with tub in the hall on the main level, as well as a half-bath on the lower level.
There is an open outdoor shower by the pool. High-speed internet is always available (via both conventional cables and an always-on wireless network, even by the pool!) for checking in on things at home or e-mailing your vacation snapshots.
Two off-street parking spaces, and additional parking on street with permit (included).
*Living room fireplace is not available from the third week in May through the end of September. Guests provide their own firewood.
**The lower level fireplace stove (aka pellet stove, see photo) is not available from the third week in May through the end of September. In cooler months, new thermostat-controlled space heaters are provided for the lower level to supplement the central heating.

First love the Fri. to Fri. Gives you a whole weekend during your stay! Rental was great! In a perfect world, would have loved to have an open-air seating area out front to watch the world go by on occasion. Big beautiful enclosed front porch, but still felt like you were inside. Can't have everything. :) Pool such a terrific plus for all when not at the beach. Amenities were as described with exception of tiki torches in pool area. There were none. Would have been nice in the evenings. Only minor negatives were main bathroom shower liner fairly moldy and the wifi quit on us day before we left. Again - minor. We recommend the Pirate Ship for kids in Lewes, DE - short drive - Our 6 year old and 3 year old granddaughters had a ball and so did we adults. So much fun. Thanks a a lovely stay. All three generations of our family enjoyed our stay here. For the granddaughters both the pool and the bunk beds were great hits, The grownups liked the ' family feel' to the house and the different spaces offering privacy or 'togetherness'. The house is well maintained and equipped. The location is excellent for everything. Definitely a house to return too.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Perfect house for all ages with lots of space, private areas and loved the pool! Spotlessly clean with all the homey touches that make it feel like a family home rather than a rental. Also loved the privacy, close to the Avenue and walkable to beach. Dogfishead was right around the corner and all the restaurants were a block away. Ages ranged from 1 to 89 and it was great for all. Thanks to the owners for providing parking for 5 cars, which is always a concern. We would definitely return!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
