We visit Destin several times each year, and have stayed at various condos. This condo was the best we have stayed in. The first two days in the condo it was very humid inside, but my husband found that the sliding glass door was off the track, and once he corrected that, the inside temperature was much better. The condo was quite roomy, but is in need of a paint job inside. Carpet is also quite worn. We were on the beachside, but in the future we will go with the bayside. The ocean was full of seaweed, and even the white sand was green. So we avoided going to the beach. We had a "wonderful" time in the lazy river! And that is on the bayside. If this room should not be the place for you, you should try to stay with the VROM group. We had a different condo rented last year, at almost the exact time as this year, and my Mother suddenly and very unexpectedly passed away. Due to it being so close to our check in date, we could not get our money back. But due to our circumstances, Buz gave us up to one year to use the week we lost due to my Mother's death. That was very much appreciated by my family, so he will treat you right. We would use him again no doubt.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Amazing property, great for kids. Wake up in the morning, see the ocean or take a walk to the Lazy River. Short walk along the ocean to two or three great restuarants. You literally never have to crank your car once you settle in, unless you just want to. Fishing is great too. Keeping all you guys with property at Destin West in our prayers regarding the oil. We had a wonderful time and will return!Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

WOW! First of all the Renters of this unit were awesome! Second, the unit was Excellent. Third, WE WILL BE BACK!! There is so much to do just at the complex, we were there for seven night and eight days, and did not get to enjoy all that was right in our front door. We had a very relaxing time. Our oldest son was thrilled to be near the fishing pier and spent most of his time there. We spent our time moving between the beach and both pools with our twelve year old and it gave us plenty to do without having to go to outside places and spend additional money. We had a great time in your condo for memorial day weekend '08. Everything was very comfortable, and very kid friendly. Awesome view! We enjoyed all of the pools and the splash park, and greatly appreciated the close proximity of the various restaurants and bars. Pranzo's Italian Restaurante was delicious, and had a very reasonably priced (and good) wine list. Definitely check out the beach bar at the Ramada - lots of fun.
