This cozy, one-story home is located in a community with an 18-hole, par-61 golf course and is about 2 miles from the beach. Enjoy Salt Pond's amenities for a fun golf getaway or a week at the beach. There are plenty of activities for the whole family. A short walk from the house, the community center offers indoor/outdoor swimming pools (depending on season), well-equipped fitness rooms, tennis, basketball and sandlot volleyball one block away. There is a launching area for small boats for access to the Salt Pond and plenty of tree-lined streets and paths for walking, running or biking.

The house is spacious throughout. The family room has vaulted ceilings, bright lights, a fireplace and plenty of seating room. Depending on your mood, you may choose to relax watching cable TV or DVDs or instead you may wish to take advantage of the business center, which has a computer, printer and high-speed internet access with a wireless network.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, a large dresser and closets. Its bathroom has a jetted tub and a shower with handles for safer access. The second bedroom has a split-king bed with a large dresser and closet. With a cable outlet and television, this bedroom is perfect for kids and adults alike. This bedroom shares a large bathroom with the third bedroom, which has two twin beds, an armoire, closet and a cable outlet.

The bright kitchen is large and well equipped. With early-day sun and pleasant view of trees and the cul-de-sac, the kitchen is a nice place to be, whether you're preparing or enjoying a meal. With seating for a total 13 both at the table and the bars, the kitchen is big enough for large groups.

If you prefer to entertain elsewhere, the porch and the backyard offer nice alternatives. The porch is screened-in and is ideally suited as a pleasant sitting room for lively discussions under the fan. The backyard has a patio with charcoal grill and plenty of space for the kids to run and play. Kids can also play in the adjacent wooded lot or just let loose in the cul-de-sac, which has almost no traffic and is within easy sight from the kitchen.

Bethany Beach is named the "Quiet Resort" and has a family atmosphere. There are amusement parks, many great restaurants and nightclubs, and bay water activities. Rehobeth Beach is ten minutes to the north and offers discount malls, more great restaurants, and tree-lined streets. Ocean City and Assateague Island are directly south.

Families or couples preferred and pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis. The check-in is Saturday for weekly rentals. Please call for partial week availability.

Note: The facility fee for use of the amenities in the community center is about $40 for a pass of 20 “uses” (1 “use” allows 1 person all day use of facilities which equates to $2/person per day).   • We just returned from spending a delightful week down in Bethany Beach in this wonderful home (notice, I didn't say house, because we felt right at "home" here). This was a first for our family (in addition to my husband and myself, two married children with their spouses, two grandchildren, one daughter, and a dog)...spending a week together under the same roof! The house was large enough to give us all breathing space if we wanted it and the kitchen table actually fit all of us at one time. The distance to the beach was a hop, skip, and a jump away and we found the area to be extremely family friendly and convenient to many other areas of interest. We appreciated all of the detailed information given to us prior to our visit and the warmth and friendliness of the owner, Ignacio. We would highly recommend this home to others.

  • We just returned from our first trip to Bethany Beach and are very pleased. The house was WONDERFUL for us - just the perfect size and a beautiful location. We loved the treed lot! The house has a very functional layout. When the doors are closed, each room seems almost soundproof. The laundry facility is a God send. It is so nice to be able to keep up with the laundry for a family of 5. We fell in love with the area and had picture perfect weather everyday but one, which is when we hit the outlets in Rehoboth! We felt so at home at the house that my husband and kids couldn't wait to get back to it. We really appreciate the fact that our little dog could share this with us. She loved it, too. We are all very happy and relaxed. This was the first house we ever rented so it was new to us, but the owners made it so easy and were very helpful. Overall, we are VERY delighted with this place. Our friends stayed at Sea Colony, but we just loved "our quiet little house in the trees." Thank you for everything!!!!!

  • It's nice to be at the beach but not be overwhelmed by the pandemonium of the beach. Salt Pond is a quiet community on a golf course - a well kept challenging executive course - that is convenient to the beach and the amenities of Bethany. This house is perfect for both couples wanting to get away for the weekend and for larger groups. They even let us bring our labrador. It was a great get away.

  • We have stayed in Salt Pond before but the experience with the owners was just as nice as their house. They went out of their way to make accommodations for our special-needs son and were very attentive and responsive to our needs, questions, etc. The house was very clean and conveniently located within the community (walking distance to pool, tennis, gym). They even had a computer and internet access for use by tenants. The furnishings were nice and everything worked. We plan to stay here next summer!

  • I have been coming to this area for 12 years and I can't remember a more enjoyable stay. Having a pleasant experience is most important to me, since I only get away maybe once a year. This house is amazingly nicer than the internet pics. It has a great layout with all of the comforts of home. As for the owners, you couldn't find nicer. They really go out of their way to be most accommidating. They not only have the house thoroughly cleaned for you, but they really care about you having a good time there. If you are looking for a house centrally located, clean and stress free this is the place. I definitely will keep this one in mind for future. A good find is to be shared with friends and family!
