This house has everything a vacation renter needs. Clean, spacious, 3 bedrooms, garage, BBQ grill, close to beach and inlet ... the list goes on. perfect location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to the next time.

THIS WAS OUR THIRD TIME THAT WE STAYED IN THIS LOVELY HOME. NICE COMMUNITY THAT IS QUIET AND PEACEFUL, BUT NOT FAR FROM THE GROCERY STORE'S AND RESTAURANTS , AND BETHANY BOARDWALK & OCEAN. VERY NICE AREA AND HOME , SPACIOUS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. ALOT OF TREES WHICH MAKES IT REALLY NICE ALSO. OUR DOG ROCKY ALSO ENJOYED HIS STAY.

House decor stuck in the 80's -- home needs attention

Posted photos must be 10 years old. Exterior maintenance of home is over grown (lots of grass/weeds growing in the gravel driveway), gas grill was rusted and scattered into pieces. Furniture was old and worn. When sitting on the couch, you sink uncomfortably into the clutches of the wooden frame. All bedding was at least a decade old; one comforter had blood stains. Kitchen was barely stocked with the basics. The home needs attention - at present, it is resting on laurels of years past. If your a golfer, the home's location is a plus.

Owner response:Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. However, I was surprised as yours was the first negative comment, since we began renting our home 6 years ago! It didn't help that you arrived immediately after the hurricane hit the area and damaged some of the outdoor items that you mentioned. I was also surprised that our home was different than what you envisioned, because the photos are exactly as the house exists today -- other than some of the bed spreads and the yard, which changes all of the time. Please note that we regularly make upgrades to various aspects of the home. In fact, we replaced the bed in one of the rooms two years ago, the bedspreads during the summer and the grill right after you left. During the next year, we have planned various upgrades, including a new computer/printer, a new couch and changes to the landscaping. We hope that you will give us another try next year, because we consistently have very happy renters!

Great Escape!

We have stayed here for a week two summers in a row and it is perfect!! We had plenty of room to spread out and the location can't be beat!! Two minute drive to the beach and Harris Teeter within walking distance. We really appreciated that we could bring our golden with us - and he settled right in as well!! Thanks Ignacio for letting us stay in your awesome vacation rental!!

We stayed just a few days ago and the plce is very nice, the location is great, the community pool and fitness center are handy and very clean;and there is large super market just minutes away. All in all we would stay again and recommend to anyone who loves the beach. The owners are especially nice and very easy to work with.

We were very pleased with our stay in Salt Pond. The house was pretty close what we expected from the listing. The rooms were bigger than the pictures made them seem. The owner was very easy to work with. The grocery store and pool/community center are all in walking distance. We had a great time and would consider staying there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed this home in the beautiful Salt Pond community. The location was convenient to everything ( shopping, beaches, restaurants, etc). The home was comfortable, well furnished, and perfect for us. The owner is extremely nice and outstanding to work with. I would highly recommend the property and we are looking forward to a return visit.

We loved the open floor plan of this home! It has a nice big kitchen, a lovely screened in porch and nice sized bedrooms. We enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood in the evenings and loved that the grocery store is right around the corner. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog with us on vacation! The owner is great to deal with and made everything so easy for us! We would love to stay here again!

We really enjoyed the Salt Pond Community. It is very quiet. Pool is very quiet, clean and not crowded. House is nice and very spacious. Very convenient to beach, grocery store, restaurants. Owners were very nice to deal with. Definitely would rent this property again.

Thank you for the use of your wonderful home at Bethany Beach! It was our first big family vacation!! We had an amazing week at the salt pond community. The house was very clean and comfortable for us all--which is a large family. The dog enjoyed it too! It was very quiet and convenient to everything. We enjoyed sleeping in so peacefully in the mornings. Pleasant to walk around with the kids and go to the pool --which was wonderful during such a hot week!! It was great to be able to walk to the Harris Teeter to shop and pick up items we needed. We had lots of great meals out at restaurants and enjoyed visiting Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City so closeby. We highly recommend this house and will definitely come back again. It was a pleasant experience to work with Ignacio and we thank him very much!!

Thank you for the use of your beautiful home in Bethany. We had a great vacation! We really enjoyed the large kitchen and open floor plan. The house was very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood with our dog. He even made a few friends along the way! The neighborhood is quiet, but located conveniently to everything we could want. It was a very relaxing week! We will definitely rent this home again! Working with Ignacio was a very pleasant experience. All of the details were handled in a timely and very courteous and professional manner.

We just returned from spending a delightful week down in Bethany Beach in this wonderful home (notice, I didn't say house, because we felt right at "home" here). This was a first for our family (in addition to my husband and myself, two married children with their spouses, two grandchildren, one daughter, and a dog)...spending a week together under the same roof! The house was large enough to give us all breathing space if we wanted it and the kitchen table actually fit all of us at one time. The distance to the beach was a hop, skip, and a jump away and we found the area to be extremely family friendly and convenient to many other areas of interest. We appreciated all of the detailed information given to us prior to our visit and the warmth and friendliness of the owner, Ignacio. We would highly recommend this home to others.

We just returned from our first trip to Bethany Beach and are very pleased. The house was WONDERFUL for us - just the perfect size and a beautiful location. We loved the treed lot! The house has a very functional layout. When the doors are closed, each room seems almost soundproof. The laundry facility is a God send. It is so nice to be able to keep up with the laundry for a family of 5. We fell in love with the area and had picture perfect weather everyday but one, which is when we hit the outlets in Rehoboth! We felt so at home at the house that my husband and kids couldn't wait to get back to it. We really appreciate the fact that our little dog could share this with us. She loved it, too. We are all very happy and relaxed. This was the first house we ever rented so it was new to us, but the owners made it so easy and were very helpful. Overall, we are VERY delighted with this place. Our friends stayed at Sea Colony, but we just loved "our quiet little house in the trees." Thank you for everything!!!!!

It's nice to be at the beach but not be overwhelmed by the pandemonium of the beach. Salt Pond is a quiet community on a golf course - a well kept challenging executive course - that is convenient to the beach and the amenities of Bethany. This house is perfect for both couples wanting to get away for the weekend and for larger groups. They even let us bring our labrador. It was a great get away.

We have stayed in Salt Pond before but the experience with the owners was just as nice as their house. They went out of their way to make accommodations for our special-needs son and were very attentive and responsive to our needs, questions, etc. The house was very clean and conveniently located within the community (walking distance to pool, tennis, gym). They even had a computer and internet access for use by tenants. The furnishings were nice and everything worked. We plan to stay here next summer!

I have been coming to this area for 12 years and I can't remember a more enjoyable stay. Having a pleasant experience is most important to me, since I only get away maybe once a year. This house is amazingly nicer than the internet pics. It has a great layout with all of the comforts of home. As for the owners, you couldn't find nicer. They really go out of their way to be most accommidating. They not only have the house thoroughly cleaned for you, but they really care about you having a good time there. If you are looking for a house centrally located, clean and stress free this is the place. I definitely will keep this one in mind for future. A good find is to be shared with friends and family!

We really enjoyed our stay in this home in Bethany Beach. The area has just enough commercialization to be convenient, but not overwhelming. It's also very close to both Rehobeth and Ocean City if you're interested. This house in particular has a lot going for it (close to golf course, great community w/ pool and exercise facilities, only minutes from the beach, great access to bike trails, outlet mall nearby, etc.) The area is definitely more family-oriented than other places we've stayed, which is exactly what we wanted. One really nice feature about this home is the business/computer center. It was handy to have the high-speed Internet accessible to us when checking on tourist locations, etc. on the spot. However, I think the best feature about this home was the responsiveness and friendliness of the owners. They were extremely resourceful in answering any questions and stayed in touch throughout the process (sent us some great info regarding directions, etc. right before our trip- perfect timing!) That means a lot when spending $$ on renting a vacation home several hundred miles away. In summary, it's one of the best vacations we've experienced. Thanks!
