Feel like a local in this charming North Shore Maui residential community. Located away from the typical resorts. Located very close from the center of Paia, known for famous restaurants, shopping, cafe's, beaches, windsurfing, yoga and exercise classes, biking,and running. The location is one of the best. Away from noise, and only a short drive to Hookipa and Sprecklesville (three miles), seven miles to the Kahului Airport(0GG) and Kanaha State Beach Park.
The home sits in a private location with a tropical garden. Ocean views from the home. Two outside sitting and deck areas for your bar-b-q and outside reading, plus an outside private shower in the back yard.

The house is comfortable and has just about everything you need. It is located in a small, quiet, residential neighborhood (the roosters and doves may wake you in the AM). The location provides easy access to Paia and Makawao with their eclectic shops and restuarants. The Haleakala crater is up the hill about 30 minutes away. Well worth the trip. For the adventureous, the Road to Hana begins at Paia. Baldwin beach is 10 minutes away and is as good as any if the wind isn't too strong. We used Baldwin beach half the time we were there. Otherwise the less windy west side beaches are about 45 minutes away. We really enjoyed the freedom and informality of a vacation in a spacious home versus a stuffy hotel room. Best restuarants: Mama's Fish House in Paia(expensive) and Polli's, a reasonably priced, very good Mexican restuarant in Makawao.Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.
