Accommodations:  House, 3 Bedrooms + Den, 2 Baths (Sleeps 6-8)

Escape to our secluded home, with its private and serene setting, in the town of Tombstone!

Location: Tombstone, Arizona, United States, Just off of Arizona 80.

Accommodations: Historic home with three bedrooms, two baths, living room, dining room, den, kitchen, covered front porch, screened-in back porch, and patio. Sleeps six to eight.

Welcome to our charming home. Open year-round, you will find it has everything to offer, just bring your clothes and food. We even supply some of that, like coffee, tea, condiments, and some pantry items.

Our home is just a five minute walk from the historic district of Allen Street with its attractions. Be sure to visit the O.K. Corral and see a re-enactment of the legendary gunfight between Wyatt, Virgil, and Morgan Earp and Doc Holliday as well as the Clanton and McClaurey brothers. Have lunch at Big Nose Kate's Saloon, tour the Bird Cage Theatre, take a stagecoach or covered wagon ride through town, see the world's largest rose tree (listed in the Guiness Book of World Records), visit Boot Hill Cemetery, and view an old-time, western shoot-out re-enactment at Helldorado Town. You will see people roaming the streets in period dress as Cowboys, Gunslingers, Marshals, saloon girls, and other townspeople of Tombstone's famous past. You can join in by renting period costumes at local vendors, if you wish. Have your picture taken at one of many stores dressed in your favorite old west costume. Shop right on historic Allen Street and get souvenirs of the Wild West.

You could also take a jeep tour and see the spectacular mountain views. If you do not mind staying up a little late, take the Tombstone Spirit Walk, starting at 11:00 p.m. and get a different view of the "Town Too Tough to Die." Take a drive one day and see the many "ghost towns" throughout the area. Drive about 20 minutes outside of downtown Tombstone and see a one-of-a-kind place - "Rattlesnake Crafts." The owners were featured on the old "Today Show." You will never see another "store" like this!

Take a short drive towards Tucson and see the beautiful Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Colossal Cave, Saquaro National Park, or Old Tucson Studios - site of many of the famous Western movies. Head south and visit Douglas or Nogales, Arizona, or Mexico. Visit Sierra Vista (20 minute drive), considered to be the bird watching capital of the world. Tour the copper mines of Bisbee and shop at the numerous antiques shops and art galleries.

Enjoy the privacy of your own fenced in yard, cacti garden, and patio. Watch for the many birds that come to the pomegranate and Chinaberry trees and other plants. Savor the fragrance of the large, beautiful rose tree right outside the porch.

We offer all modern conveniences, except dishwasher, at this historic home. We provide board games, cards, checkers, puzzles, children's books, and novels. There is also a charcoal grill outside for your enjoyment. Relax and have supper on your screened-in back porch or on the patio, with a fire going in the chimenea.

PETS ALLOWED WITH PRIOR APPROVAL AND ADDITIONAL FEE. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING, PLEASE. We hope you make many wonderful memories at The Tombstone Home!

    • We loved the house! It was really fun and close to downtown (or what passes for downtown). We loved being able to walk to Allen St. from the house. We will definitely keep you in mind for future vacations.

    • What a wonderful house. The Tombstone House exceeded our expectations. The house was very comfy & cozy. All the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation, beautifully landscaped and plenty of room. We spent a weekend here with friends of ours. A total of 10 people (6 of them kids) and there was plenty of room. I can't say much else except for we are all excited to have found this place & cannot wait to return.

    • We could not have been happier with our choice to stay in the Tombstone home. The house is charming, up-to-date and family friendly, with enough space for everyone. Thoughtful touches added to the pleasantness of our stay, especially the toys/games and kid books and the movies. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and the kids are ready to come back. Thank you so much for providing such a great alternative to a hotel.

    • I was very surprised to find a vintage home so well updated, pleasant to stay in and period to the time. This house has all the amenities to take your vacation to the most enjoyable of times. A classic western DVD collection for some history of the western times was greatly appreciated. The outdoor patio was a great place to read, visit around and barbeque at. The short walk uptown and pleaseant drive to Bisbee and surrounding area while staying away from the hustle and bustle was great. Terry & Pat

    • We stayed at your wonderful home for my daughter's wedding that was held at the end of Allen Street in front of the Bird Cage Theater on February 29th. We used an 1880's theme, and the bride and the 10 attendants were all in period dress. The home was a clean, wonderful place to stay, and so much better than any hotel! It was perfect for our 1880's theme! It was so very conveniently located to our wedding site, and within walking distance to everything! The patio was wonderful for rest and relaxation, and the cactus garden was beautiful. We will certainly be back, and will heartily recommend Tombstone Home to our Illinois friends and family.

    • we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the home in Tombstone. The house was well kept, clean and furnished very nicely. The yard was a pleasure to sit in and relax. There were 5 adults in our "party" and we found we had plenty of room for everyone to have their own "space" when needed. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting a relaxing, home away from home, during their vacation. We would definitely stay there again.

    • We had a lovely visit in your comfortable home. It was clean, roomy, and everything one would want while away from home. The kitchen has all the tools needed to cook what I wanted to cook. I appreciate that some items are provided, because I did not remember all I needed at the grocery store on the way in. We watched "Tombstone" the first night there and I read your books about Doc Holiday and Wyatt Earp. I gained a real appreciation for the history and the myths of the area. Again it's a wonderful place to unwind. Thank you.

    • We want to thank you for letting us use your home. It was lovely and we had a wonderful stay. Once we recovered from our initial reaction to the stockade fence, and got inside, it was everything you advertised and then some. The location and the decor was clean, warm and wonderful. We had plenty of room. The accommodations were more than comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the selection of DVD's and books. We only wish the weather had been a little warmer and we could have availed ourselves of the kiva and BBQ. The off street parking bonus was much appreciated. We mentioned your place to a couple of people we met in Tombstone and some of our friends in Sun Lakes. It is without a doubt the best place for a family or couple to stay in Tombstone. We certainly enjoyed our stay.
