My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this luxury beach cottage. You can believe everything you read about it. It has a beautiful view of the water. The front room opens completely to the patio creating a very open and peaceful space. The spa was very relaxing and we appreciated everything, and I mean everything, being so clean. You won't even see dust on the ceiling fans. Everything there, from the top of line appliances to the BBQ grill and seasonings are there to add to your enjoyment. The floorplan is very open and the bedrooms are very comfortable. We will definitely be coming back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This house is spectacular! I think thart this house rivals any 5 star hotel in SB. I have never in my life stayed in such a clean and organized house. No detail was spared. It is quiet, in an amazing neighborhood and being so close to the beach and having the ability to run/walk every morning in such a gorgeous setting made my vacation. I am already planning my next trip back and have referred it to several other friends. The owner has thought through everything- it is the perfect beachhouse and I cannot wait to return.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Location, amenities, this house is perfect for a wonderful beach weekend. We loved the bikes and hot tub. Hope it won't be our last stay!Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Loved this beautiful house on the beach! Stellar views from the front porch. Clean and comfortable with lots of great amenities like hot tub, fireplace and DVD collection. Great location - close to many attractions and just across the street from the beach. It was especially great for our family since it was just a short walk away from a fantastic beach side playground for kids. Definitely recommended!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

What a wonderful way to ring in the new year! The beach cottage was everything described and more! The location is breathtaking! Situated across from Shoreline Park with beautiful ocean views and amazing sunsets! Just a few steps away from Leadbetter Beach where we had breakfast at the beach cafe in the sand, soaked up the sun and watched the surfers and paddle boarders, and then explored the tide pools in the afternoon! We enjoyed long walks along the beach in the mornings, and walked into town for shopping and lunch in the afternoons. We loved that the cottage is located between the touristy part of town and a neighborhood so that you can see all of the Santa Barbara sites, or enjoy living like a local. We have stayed at many beach rentals over the years, and have never stayed at one as superbly decorated, clean, or as well equipped with amenities such as bikes, bedding, towels, kitchen appliances and necessities, and cleaning supplies. You can just show up and relax and not have to worry about running to the store so that you have coffee in the morning! Staying at the beach cottage was truly a vacation, and at the same time, felt perfectly like home!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

very well represented online. cottage was clean, bright and well-maintained. great location for walks, biking to boardwalk and location to grocery store. excellent spot!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Great place! Family room opens to the ocean. Great view and setting. House has everything you need to have a great time and Santa Barbara is a great place to stay (good food, live music, shopping, golf, wine tasting, hiking and the ocean). Loved the house. Beautifully decorated cottage with fantastic view of the ocean and all the amenities you could want. Perfect location for walking down to the beach and enjoying the kayak. The bike path is across the street and we rode the bikes along the beach all the way to the Biltmore. Walked down to the Shoreline Cafe for fish tacos two days in a row and barbequed and enjoyed the hot tub the other 2 nights. It's a short drive to State Street where we browsed, shopped and ate. Would definitely come back again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Excellent location in Santa Barbara directly across from the ocean. Beauty far exceeds Internet photos. Very clean; tastefully decorated; spacious; and loaded with everything you may need during your stay (household supplies, bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, etc...) Entire cottage was very clean. We HIGHLY recommend this property for your stay in Santa Barbara. Beyond beautiful! Please note that we are quite picky and have never written a review for any vacation property we've previously rented. More than a 5 star experience. A lovely remodeled home with comfortable and charming furnishings. The location, directly across the street to the beach is a real plus, and it is convenient to markets and downtown. Plenty of comfortable space outside to enjoy the great weather. Everything is spotless, which is unusual for a rental.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My three college age kids and I spent 10 days in this amazing Beach Cottage. Every amenity was thoughtfully considered. The cottage was impeccable, well cared for, beautifully furnished complete with luxury linens. All the comforts of home! Combine this with the perfect location on the Beach, proximity to downtown State Street and all the great shopping and restaurants. We did easy day trips to Solvang, the Getty Museum, Santa Barbara Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Santa Barbara Mission - you name it! We are all very active, so having the bikes, kayak and boogie board was great. Not to mention participating in a local 15K while we were there. Favorite memories: Mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee and a good book. BBQ dinners "at home" with the family and playing cards or board games until the wee hours. So much fun for us all! We will be back. With Golf Clubs next time!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The is the best place on the Mesa and close to everything in Santa Barbara. The Cottage is well outfitted and the owners are responsive and helpful. We loved the beach house! Our favorite activities included sitting on the patio - margaritas in hand, people watching, strolling State Street, jogging through the park across the street, walking along the beach and taking in the Sunday morning art fair. Lazy Acres, the organic grocery store further up Shoreline, had everything we needed and more. The beach house was the perfect place for us to relax and rejuvenate, we can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
