Located just 90 minutes from Atlanta in beautiful Fannin County is our cabin "Up the Creek" Up the creek is a beautiful two bedroom two bath cabin located directly on Hot House Creek.
Hot house creek is a 20 foot wide rainbow trout stocked creek where you can tube, fish or just sit and listen to the quiet rapids right off your back porch.
There is a private hot tub on the lower deck which is approximately five feet from the water! The house sits on a private one acre lot with no cabins to either side of it.
There is a nice level area to the right of the cabin with a raised outdoor deck with gas grill, as well as a stone fire pit.
The cabin is close to many wonderful mountain activities! Whether you want to raft down the Ocoee River, rent a boat for the day on Lake Blue Ridge, Hike or bike the Aska Adventure Area, or shop and dine in Downtown Blue Ridge. Up the creek is where you will want to be! We are within five miles of the Ocoee River Rafting outfitters in Ducktown, TN. Inside our North Georgia cabin there is one king and two queen size beds. All paper products and detergent for washer and dryer are supplied. The cabin has an indoor remote control gas log fireplace as well as foosball table, and two dvd players with a large collection of movies for your viewing pleasure. Tubing, Waterfall hiking, mountain biking, stargazing, fire fly catchin, it's all here at Up The Creek!

Why the Owner Chose Blue Ridge
We have always loved the beauty of the North Georgia mountains,and we loved the proximity of being within 20 minutes of 3 states. We love to do watefall hikes, mountain bike and white water raft and it was all within close proximity to our cabin. We love trying out the local restaurants from The Cider House to the new Cucina Rustica, whether you want to do a water fall hike, fish off the deck for trout or white water raft down the ocoee , this is the place for you!
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
Our home is very unique in the sense that it sits directly on a rainbow trout stocked stream. The new georgia laws state that you must be 50 ft off the water, we are about five feet which makes it a very cozy waterfront home. You can literally fish from the hot tub. I love just listening to the water at the creek, and tubing down the river with my family. Each year we go we grab some tubes from a tire company down the street and jump in the water and tube down hot house creek and walk back to the cabin. It is a blast! There is also a small waterfall hike you can hike to from the house. I also love to relax by the fireplace and read a good book.

Hello we are Dan,Laurie and Sarah we have loved the mountains our entire lives. We eloped back in 1996 and got married in Blue Ridge at a small chapel called the Helping Hands chapel . The people were so kind in Blue Ridge and we would vacation here often and we finally decided we could afford to buy a cabin up in what we called our little piece of heaven
