Stayed a week in mid-October in a perfect location in the heart of Old City Quebec. The condo is a nicely appointed 1-bedroom, 1-bath space on the top floor of a three story elevator building just inside the gate on rue St. Jean with a great view north towards the hills. Convenient parking behind the building with both front and rear entrances. Everything needed for a stay is provided, including towels, sheets, paper products, and kitchen basics. The condo was as described and pictured and the management staff was helpful, particularly Diane who met us with the keys and gave us a thorough briefing. There is a pharmacy on the first floor and a Marche grocery store, an SAQ wine shop, and J.A. Moisan, an upscale grocery, all within 3-5 blocks northwest on rue St. Jean. There are literally dozens of restaurants up and down rue St. Jean ranging from Paillard (voted best croissants in the city) to upscale dining like Boulay to pubs, French, Italian, Vietnamese, and Tunisian and other Middle Eastern choices. Clothing and other shops also line the streets. Upscale clothing and shoe shopping on rue St. Joseph in the St. Roch district is a 10 minute walk as is the Lower Town (although beware the cruise ship arrivals and the swarm of passengers.) The guide books can do a better job of describing what to see in Quebec but we recommend the Raymond Brousseau's Gallery A, the Fine Arts Museum, the Promenade around the Chateau Frontenac at night, shopping in St. Roch, a stroll down any street, but particularly on the Plains of Abraham, and a day trip with a picnic lunch from J.A.Moisan to Baie St. Paul and Malbaie. We enjoyed upscale, refined and expensive dining at Boulay (Scandanavian/boreal), Patriarche(everything comes in threes) , and the Continental(white coated waiters and flambed everything) with less expensive choices like La Petite Boite Vietnamese in St. Roch, Gallette Libanese, Ciccio for Italian, and Sous le Fort in the Lower Town. Quebec is a wonderful place to visit, with friendly and helpful people, but get outside the walls and get outside the city to see even more.

What a terrific place, right in the heart of the city. Unit was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants and historical sites. Diane met us when we arrived and was very helpful. We would recommend these condos to all our friends.

Terrific place! Well situated within the walls of the old city yet walking distance to convention centre, Plains of Abraham, Grande Allee. A multitude of excellent restaurants nearby. Secure building, beautifully appointed, comfortable and clean. Diane was a delight to work with. She was prompt, available, and provided expert, accurate advice about restaurants, shopping, and things to do in the city. We will stay there again for any future trips to Quebec City.
