The house was beautiful and it met our expectations. We all had a great time. We were sooo close to the beach and loved the pool deck. Being able to see the ocean from this home, was a real treat! This is our 3rd time staying here. We had a lot of fun doing our old traditions and swimming in the pool is a great time to spend time with the whole family. The week went by too quickly. We love this area of Hilton Head. What a perfect place to create happy memories. We relaxed at the beach, swam in the pool and ocean, ate at many restaurants and ice cream places. Our 40th Anniversary trip was perfect! The arrival of the whole family was the highlight of our vacation! What a beautiful house! Thank You for helping us have a great family celebration! We played with the kids at the pool & beach. Enjoyed some golf. Weather was warm, sunny, with only one thunderstorm. Recommendations are Redfish - good food, great wine! Had a great annual family vacation! Went to the beach, pool, shopped, fished, biked and ate! Enjoyed Bluffton and dined at the May River Grill/Farmers Market is fun too. Shopped at outlet malls and the kids loved Coligny Plaza! Had fun hanging our with the grandkids at the beach & pool. this is our 2nd year at 29 Mallard and we plan to make it 3 in a row in 2012. We had a wonderful time! Loved the hot tub, laundry rooms on both floors and the weather was perfect! The distance from the beach is amazing & so were the bikes! Nine young mothers who needed a vacation and also the Bunko Group, Weather was great! 89 high and 75 low, with nice breezes. We relaxed!!, laid by the pool, beach, rode bikes, went dancing, got drunk and silly. Lots of talking, eating and drinking! The house is so beautiful!! Great decorations, the house has such nice details and amenities. Very close to everything and the beaches. The bedrooms are huge! We will definitely return!Did you find this review helpful? Had fantastic weather as always! Played games...played games...played games...Eat, drink and be merry! Our 4th wonderful trip to this fantastic house! We love this place! Recommendations are Electric Piano-Adam, Island Bistro-Eric, and Steamers. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home. We had 11 people this time and everyone is so happy and relaxed. We enjoyed the little girls treasure hunt and birthday parties. Our favorite restaurants are Alligator Grill, Trufles, Skillets for breakfast and our order in 1st night tradition-The Smokehouse. loved the beach, shells swimming, ate a lot, and just enjoyed relaxing together, annual squirt gun battles and pool volleyball. Jaclyn & John decided to get hitched in Bluffton. We traveled with lots of people, lots of booze, lots of clothes crammed into a space shuttle. We had low country shrimp boil, cocktails, Michael Jackson dance parties, cocktails, shrimp toast, cocktails. Get your but on the beach. I'm not much of an athlete, so bicycling is not for me. For this reason, I was quite grateful that it was just 100 yards away. Your spacious , tastefully decorated home provided a haven for our extended family to really stretch out and roam free. Perhaps, most of all we enjoyed the luxury of an elevator. This enabled us to sneak our bounty of goods from the Piggly Wiggly store to the 3rd floor, so that the vultures we affectionately call "family" would not scavenge our ritz chips and popcorn!Did you find this review helpful? Cooked a lot of enjoyable meals! David is THE cook! But, the girls all chipped in. This is our 27th year at Hilton Head. Tim brought mom & dad for 25th anniversary and we stayed at Seaside Villas. Since then several places. When we come to Hilton Head it's just like coming home! This house is a wonderful surprise, since we only had photos. Lot's of roomy space, great kitchen, plenty of bedding, comfortable beds & baths! Great idea to have a bathroom off the pool deck! Had great weather every day!! Went bike riding, shopping, lots of beach & pool-Had chinese gift exchange (lots of fun)! Celebrated 3 birthdays. Met family from San Antonio and lots of people walking on beach. Man in electric wheel chair-Mr. Lancaster-very enjoyable conversation. We recommend Earl of Sandwich, Scotts Fish Market, Crazy Crab, Rita's for Gelato and YUM-Frosty Frog! Murphy (AGENT). RENTER agrees to rent 29 Mallard, a privately owned home, for a period beginning at 4:00 pm Saturday and ending at 10:00 am on Saturday. The rental home is located at: 29 Mallard Road, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina 29928. The telephone number in the home is 843-785-2623 RESERVATIONS: This reservation will be held for 48 hours with verbal reservation confirmation, pending receipt of email confirmation of the reservation. Upon receipt of email confirmation this reservation will be held for ten (10) days pending receipt of the following: a)Signed original contract b)50% deposit paid to Coastal Owner Services Please mark one form of payment from the following: I WOULD LIKE TO PAY THE 50% DEPOSIT BY: __ CHECK, __ CREDIT CARD, __ MONEY ORDER I WOULD LIKE TO PAY THE 50% BALANCE BY: __ CHECK, __ CREDIT CARD, __ MONEY ORDER These items must be received within 10 days from date of email confirmation and should be mailed to the following address: Coastal Owner Services 1 Mallard Street Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 Phone (843) 247-0227 PAYMENTS: The balance of the rent (50%) is due 30 days in advance of the first day of rental. All payments must be made through personal check, cashiers check, money order or PayPal. If the Renter's check does not clear, the renter will be charged a $50 fee and reservation cancelled if a valid payment is not received within 7 days. RENTER agrees to pay rent, in full at least 30 days prior to the arrival date. Failure to pay on time will constitute cancellation, unless arrangements have been made and communicated to Dawn. Non-payment of the full balance within 30 days of check-in, will be treated as a "cancellation with less than 60 days notice". CANCELLATION: If this reservation is cancelled the deposit will be returned, less a $250 administrative fee, up to 60 days before Renter's scheduled arrival date. All notice of cancellations must be made by e-mail to Dawn hhidawn1@gmail.com. If less than 60 days notice is given, the rental deposit will be refunded less $75 administrative fee, if the unit re-rents with no revenue lost. Otherwise, RENTER will forfeit the deposit. If the RENTER does not arrive or leaves early, the RENTER will receive no refund. If official mandatory hurricane evacuation orders are issued, the RENTER will be released from this contract, and the rent will be prorated, with the rent balance returned to the RENTER. MAXIMUM NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS: The house is to be occupied by no more than Fourteen(14) persons at a maximum. NOT ALLOWED: Excessively loud parties or other disturbances. No illegal substances are allowed on the property. Violation of the above will be grounds for owner to require RENTER to leave the premises and forfeit any rent. MAINTENANCE: Coastal Owner Services makes every attempt to insure that the home or villa you have rented is in good working order when you arrive. If you do encounter a maintenance problem in the home or villa, it will be handled in a timely and professional manner. Coastal Owner Services, Inc. is not responsible for resort amenities such as scheduled or unscheduled pool and spa closures, etc. Rental rates will NOT be adjusted due to any malfunction of equipment.
