Dingle house description
Just minutes from Centre City of Dingle Town, this eight-year-old self-catering home has a wonderful view of the Glen. Located on the fabulously popular Dingle Peninsula, this home provides a pair of fireplaces for cozy nights and central oil heat.
The home is wheelchair accessible.
Shop in Dingle or one of the numerous shops or potters along the Slea Head drive. Visit ancient burial grounds, or the Gallarus. This region of the West of Ireland has the ocean, golf, boat rides, festivities and music every night in most of the more than 100 pubs nearby. Or just sit at the picnic table on the patio and entertain or watch the stars.
A local couple provide superior oversight of the property for your convenience. Linens are provided. One of the bedrooms includes a queen-sized bed for extra comfort.
Plenty of parking for two or three vehicles. The house is located about 2 1/2 hours from Shannon, 50 minutes from Tralee, and within an hour of the Ring of Kerry and Killarney.
The house also offers a baby's cot for young families. Appliances are new, and the lounge has a TV, VCR and DVD.

A friend and I shared this house at the end of July and it was a perfect location for our stay in Dingle. The home is spacious, clean and modern and the outside yard and picnic table were a bonus. The kitchen was quite large, with a great dining area with a wonderful view of the mountains. The town of Dingle was minutes away by car - walkable as well. The town is filled with pubs, good cafes and restaurants, bookshops and gift shops. The historical sites back west were very close and we just enjoyed driving and stopping to take everything in. Other recommended activities would be the boat trip to the Blasket Island and the Blasket Heritage Center, the Ventry regatta, the Folk Concert at the church in Dingle, and the Mulcahy Pottery Shop and Cafe. Just a great spot for an easy vacation. The owner loves Dingle and was always available for questions, there also is a local caretaker who can help if needed. We will definitely return and recommend it highly.

Manager response: We are so glad you enjoyed yourselves. It's a great place to unwind. We try to make this a real vacation and make ourselves available to help as best we can. Only one change to the reviews, we unfortunately cannot be pet-friendly as there is asthma in the family.
