Our villa is a desirable 1st floor end unit just steps from the beach in the beautiful Island Club Resort. The complex has 24 hour professional security. It boasts 3 swimming pools (sunning pool, regular pool and a safe, fantastic toddler pool). ALL of them were refurbished last year. There are 9 tennis courts, playground, lagoons, gazebos, & barbecues along with miles of gentle beach. There's also a well appointed exercise/work out room & accompanying spa for relaxing on great evenings. The condos at the Island Club tend to be spacious and well appointed. Ours is no exception.
This villa is completely updated & beautifully decorated. The eat-in kitchen has everything you'd expect to find in your own home. Both bedrooms feature cable TV and fans. The 1st floor location is ideal for easy condo entry - park right outside-easiest unloading in the resort. It also has superb, ultra-easy access to the beach. As you walk out the patio door, the boardwalk's on your left. Facing the patio is one of the several lagoons on the property - if you have young children, bring fishin' poles or just let them feed the small ducks! The patio view to the left is of the ocean & the sound can lull you to afternoon naps - OFTEN !
During the day, there are a myriad of activities to keep you occupied. While no one guarantees Hilton Head sun every day, the condo has a library & board games to while away time during an occasional storm. In the evening, look out & enjoy the softly lit pathway's lights which surround the lagoon. I think the view is one of the many benefits of having this particular 1st floor location. My husband opts for the easy loading & unloading !
We're also totally wi-fi so you can bring your laptop ! If you don't or can't, we've arranged for computer access in the lounge. The building has an elevator but its not needed since we're 1st floor. We're wheelchair friendly & there's wheelchair access to the dunes & observation deck. No unit is 'beachfront' ( there's a protective beach dune w/native grasses ) but ours is the closest rental. There are bikes to rent on the property & secure racks within 75' so bring cable locks. Of course, we encourage the use of helmets.
Hilton Head's known for great beaches, challenging or relaxing golf on many renown courses, surf/deep sea/sport fishing, miles of bike-friendly paths, wonderful dining of all kinds, & FAMILY FUN ! |
