Fully functionally home. We use this as our second home. All linens provided (sheets, pillows, blankets, bath towels, beach towels). Many beach items provided including Surf Board, Boogie boards & skim boards.

La Jolla is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
The art galleries, shops and restaurants are delightful.

The beach at Wind n Sea is breathtaking...about 1.5 miles south of The Cove..a famous beach...where distance swimmers swim year round.

Snorkeling, kayaking, and scuba diving activities all abound.

Wind N Sea beach is good for swimming and surfing or just sitting on the sand in the warm summer and winter sun.

Convenience store, Health Massage Spa, Gym, SK Beauty Spa, La Jolla Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Center, Pilates Studio, Antique Store, Bagel Shop, and several restaurants and fast food places all within one to two block easy walking distance.

  • Mar 31-April 7/09: Had a greeat time. Did lots of touring and had good weather. Easy walking distance to the beaches and downtown La Jolla plus very easy access to San Diego. Condo is very well equiped. Barry was very accomodating and gave us lots of tips on where to go, what to do, where to eat etc. Highly recommended. Gordon and Donna Toews Calgary, Alberta

  • We were VERY impressed with this condo and had the most relaxing stay! Barry was a pleasure to work with and very accomodating. They thought about every single detail including new beach towels that waited for us. I stayed with my 21 month old daughter, cooked quite a bit and felt like i was in my own kitchen. High speed internet with an actual desktop computer was an added bonus as well. The location is perfect! I attended a conference downtown San Diego, and it took me about 20 minutes to get there every day. The place is 3 blocks to the beech and less than a mile away from a great public playground. Downtown La Jolla is within walking distance. I would never stay in a hotel after this place! Hope to come back again in the future!

  • This was such a great place to stay. The Tobias are such generous and kind people. You almost feel like a local. It was so comfortable, and everything available. Amazingly close to beaches, and golf, mass transit if needed. We are DEFINITELY staying here whenever possible to visit San Diego. ???e-mail to stagenut at yahoo dot com

  • A great place to stay! The house is very comfortable with good facilities including a computer & printer, surf boards beach towels. You can walk to the beach & the town, enabling you to eat in the evenings without worrying about having a drink before driving home. Barry, the owner, was very attentive. Overall, we would absolutely recommend.

  • We have visted Lajolla,Ca for the past few years and have stayed in several areas. This location is ideal since it is walking distance to all. There are two large beaches close by & the downtown is walking distance. The townhome is beautiful. The beds were so comfortable. We were so sad to leave and look forward to our return for two weeks in 2009. Thank you Barry & Christine for a wonderful & enjoyable vacation!!

  • This is a great condo. Beautifully decorated with a warm, homey feeling. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could want. It was nice to have internet access, as this was our first trip to California and we used it to get directions several times. I would highly recommend this condo and hope to be able to come back to it and La Jolla again. And last but not least...Barry is great to work with. You won't have any regrets if you choose this vacation rental!

  • This is a wonderful HOME and Barry is a really GREAT person. We were looking to find a place for next fall when we will be returning to the USA for five months. We ask Barry about this home and said we'd like to stay a few nights to see how we like it before committing to the extended stay. We're sold!!! Our experience was so much better than we imagined... and not just with the home. I won't go into details but I will tell you that Barry is a super human being... the kind of guy that restores your faith in humanity.

  • We stayed for Christmas week to visit family, and I am so glad we did. Barry is an incredibly gracious host. When he found out I was preparing a special Christmas brunch for both sides of my family (and was a little nervous about it) he even made sure there was a food processor and folding table for our use. Cooking in the galley kitchen was a dream, we were central to everything in the area, and the bed in the master bedroom was incredibly comfortable. Most relaxed holidays ever!
