This condo was fully equipped with supplies, even boogie boards, and was very comfortable and conveniently located. The beach across the street was fantastic for snorkeling and swimming. Could walk to restaurants and shops, which was nice. Only negative was the traffic noise - but this was more than made up by the other positives. We would not hesitate to return.

Can't beat the location! We loved going back and forth to the beach and being able to walk to a few restaurants and shops. My husband was able to wake up and in less than 10 minutes be snorkeling. Very clean and it was nice having the essentials already there - toilet paper, paper towels, etc. The reason I'm not giving a 5/5 stars was the condo needs a few updates - the washer/dryer, coffee maker, linens, dvd player (kept skipping our DVDs). Even with the negatives, we've stayed at several condos in Kihei and this is bar far the best condo per the cost.
Owner response:Dear Lauren, thank you so very much for your feedback! We are so happy that you loved the location-proximity to the beach and that you found the property clean and well stocked for you. We will certainly look into updating the items you mentioned and make sure everything works well! You mentioned that this is the best value in Kihei-yay! That is a great feedback for us. Have a Happy New Year and let us know when you are coming to Maui again. Mahalo!

My husband, 15 mo. old daughter and I stayed in this condo with our 2 friends and their baby... and, as my daughter now says, Maui-WOWy. This place delivered. We had a fantastic, relaxing week in this gorgeous spot. The condo itself was super-comfortable: spacious enough for 4 adults/2 kids, with an awesome kitchen that made cooking every night easy and fun, a HUGE porch that overlooks the pool and the ocean, comfy beds, modern amenities hassle-free (wifi, stereo, TV) and, most importantly, a 90-second walk across the street to a fantastic beach and beach park with swings, people BBQing/playing music, etc. We loved staying here. The cute commercial area is within walking distance - which we also loved. The owners of the condo were super-helpful: She tipped us off to Akamai Mothers for renting our baby gear, which was great: Inexpensive and incredibly convenient, minimizing all the gear we'd have to lug through the airports. The owners also made recommendations for Maui sites to see - and that was also really helpful in making our week just perfect. The only thing I didn't like is that we had to come home. We can't wait to return to this spot. Highly recommend!

Our family stayed at this Maui Parkshore condo for ten dreamy days in late-May/early-June. With little ones in tow, easy access to the beach was vital (location, location, location!) - and strolling to Kamole III or II took no time at all. Other perks: the quiet pool, beautiful grounds and friendly condo tenants. We especially loved that this particular unit doesn’t get sweltered by direct sunlight, so we enjoyed every meal on the lanai in comfort. The home-away-from-home was clean, stocked with beach toys and had plenty of kitchen supplies. We miss the tropical flowers, Hawaiian birds’ songs, palm trees and ocean waves – hopefully we’ll be back again someday!
Owner response:Dear Jes, Thank you for your review. We are so happy that you and your family had a great time! I looked at your vacation photos and they are amazing! Please let me know next time you want to enjoy our beach condo. Aloha! Sandra

I've rented a lot of different Kihei condos (almost every year since 1981) and this is the first time I've bothered to leave a review. Even my wife, an obsessively fussy person who was initially shocked by the absence of granite countertops(!), loved it. Among the bits we liked best: An exceptionally clean and well maintained unit with lovely grounds and a convenient parking arrangement. An excellent location, just steps to the beach. You have to watch that in Kihei, because some of the properties stretch way up the hill -- away from the beach. A large unit with 2 good sized bedrooms AND 2 good sized bathrooms. A great scale to the property. Only 60 units and they all have a close-in view of the beach and a recently renovated pool area. A nice sense of community. An excellent onsite manager/caretaker who keeps the common areas and pool area in immaculate condition. A very friendly and obliging unit property manager who is only a local phone call away. Useful to people like me; people too stupid to figure out how to the operate the ceiling fans. A very large lanai (full width of the unit) with sliding doors that open wide enough to give you the sense that you are living in a tropical tree house. And a very friendly, helpful and honest owner. If you are a first-time VBRO renter, this is more important than you think. So, don't hesitate to select this property if it suits your timing and budget. You won't regret it. Lawrence and Cheryl
Owner response:Dear Lawrence and Cheryl, Thank you very much for staying with us, your review and the nice note you left for us. I am so happy that you loved our condo and that you are going to visit again. I agree with you on the best points of our property: the amazing proximity to the beach, great ocean view, spacious layout, great condition of the resort grounds and location, which is impossible to beat. We fell in love with Maui Parkshore Resort because it's compact size and proximity to the beach. Our resort manager Jeff and property manager Janet work very hard every day to ensure our property looks and feels it's best. You will be happy to know that we just made few additional improvements to our condo and purchased a nice flat screen TV as well as XBOX/DVD player for the second bedroom. Please let us know next time you are ready for Maui time! Thank you! Sandra

Seriously, the location could not be beat. For those who, like us, do not want to pack up the van, lunch, etc., every time to head out to the beach, it was so great to be able to walk right across the street. The only thing wrong with your place is that we had to leave it! :) We had everything we needed in your condo. Our 4-year old has requested we book the same place if/when we return. Mahalo & Aloha!

We loved staying here, best location right by Kamaole 3 beach, loved the view, the layout of the condo, the resort is beautifully kept. It is a smaller building right by the beach, so you can be be on the beach in under a minute on foot. The balcony is huge and looks over the pool and the ocean. It is right by Wailea and you don't have to spend $400 a night. We will definitely come back to this condo, very nice experience.

My husband & I stayed here for our honeymoon. My first time to Maui! The condo was perfect...quiet, location, view, spaciousness & beautiful landscaping. We worked on a budget & made use of the kitchen. I liked the fact that it was is on the second floor. It has a balcony that we enjoyed breakfast every morning. Great view of the beach. Really liked the fact that they have internet connections so we could download our pictures every night/morning & really be able to document the pictures & share the beauty daily with our family back home. One of the greatest perks this condo has is a washer/dryer! We were across the street from a beautiful beach...turtles were swimming by while my husband was body surfing! Great snorkeling. We were within walking distance to many restaurants down the street. We also found some great places for happy hour just a short drive south...Gannon's Red Bar. The condo has great outdoor ammenities! There is a covered patio with large grills for you to use, shuffleboard, & a pool. We are already planning our next trip & bringing our whole family!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and our stay at the beautiful Maui Parkshore. The owners have clearly thought of everything that the occupiers of the condo would need. We also enjoyed the location of the property within the complex, the view and proximity to the beaches. We look forward to returning.

This condo is perfect for families, it's across the street from Kamaole Beaches III and II. It is a wonderful area to view the beautiful sunsets in Maui. This condo has everything you need for your trip! It is very clean and nicely decorated. The owners are wonderful to work with...we secured our reservation 1 day after contacting them. I would stay there again, and hope to do so next year. It is walking distance to a great Mexican restaurant, Cafe Au Lait, and several others as well. We especially liked the outdoor bbq grills and tables under a covered area to eat our lunches and dinners. We visited the Maui Nail Bar several times for pedicures and manicures, and also arranged to have a facial by "Leslie". Thank you so much for making our last 4 days of our 3 week stay in Maui memorable! We stayed in the condo next door, #205... in 1977!! It's an older building, but it is very well maintained. Had an amazing stay with friends at the Maui Parkshore. A very charming space with comfortable furnishings that is conveniently located right across the street from the beach. It has a great kitchen for cooking or sitting space by the counter. The patio balcony set off of the kitchen and living room is awesome. You can slide open the doors which creates a very open airy extended living space in the condo. I am definitely coming back here on my next trip. My home away from home in paradise :-)

This place was one of the best experiences and vacations I have ever had. From the moment I arrived to the Condo, I couldn't believe this is where I would spend 7 amazing nights. This property was very clean, full with all amenities needed to make your stay enjoyable and stress-free. The location is unbeatable on Maui, nothing, NOTHING, will come close to this location. Beachfront, walking distance to so much, mins from beautiful Waliea. Being in the hospitality industry myself, I am spolied with nice hotels all the time. This was a very comparable experience. On my next trip to Maui, this will be the place I will stay again and again. Without a second thought...it truley was amazing....and you can not beat the price for what you are getting...seriously...i couldn't thank the owners enough for taking such great care of a place and allowing many other people to enjoy their little slice of paradise.
Owner response:Mahalo Chris, we are so happy you had a nice time. I hope our recommendations worked out for you as well! Let us know when you are ready for your next visit!

We visit this complex every year and this has been so far the best unit we stayed in. Nicely decorated, well equipped and clean. We find that this unit is much cooler then others and love the view of the pool and ocean.
Owner response:Thank you so much! We are looking forward your visit next year!

The entire family had a wonderful time at the Kihei condo. It was clean, comfortable, and just what we were looking for. Kam 3, across the street, is a great beach. The boys loved boogie boarding there. We spent many days snorkeling on nearby beaches and swam with turtles! We also saw an octopus, shark, and a moray eel. As stated in your ad, the location of your condo is perfect to go north or south on the island. Thanks again!
Owner response:Thank you! We now have a brand new beach facilities on Kamaole 3-it's even better now!

We stayed at the other property that Emeka owns - the Island Surf condo in Kihei. This was the best vacation I've ever been on! The condo was exactly as pictured, clean, spacious and the views were breath taking. Eating breakfast one morning in the kitchen, I happened to glance up and look towards the ocean. lucky me the whales were passing by! I could not believe my eyes! Every morning we'd see them from the lanai! Emeka is great! He offered great advice and was extremely helpful before and during our holiday. We will definitely return and hopefully one of Emeka's condo's will be available! If you haven't been to Maui, I definitely recommend staying either at the Island surf or Maui Parkshore that he owns! He makes your holiday easy and stress free. Thanks again Emeka! You truly are one of the good guys! Shelley and Barclay Uruski

Our family enjoyed staying at your condo in Maui Parkshore. It is the ideal location for easy beach access (across the street) and shops and restaurants within a short walking distance. Everything we needed was supplied from beach towels to beach toys! We were impressed at the cleanliness of the common areas and the swimming pool! The unit itself was right for our needs. The large veranda was great for eating meals outside and just for enjoying the ocean view not to mention the relaxing sounds of the waves. In our future vacation plans, we'd like to return to Maui Parkshore condos and we would also recommend your condo to our friends and family.

My name is Michael Kendrick and I work for the Pitkin County Sheriff's Office in Aspen, Colorado. I am the computer fraud officer for my Department. My wife Debbie is also a Deputy. My brother and my mother both live on the island of Maui. When we decided on our summer trip, I asked my brother to check out the building and inquire as to Mr. Okwuje's validity as an owner. I was told by friends that VRBO rentals is a well known collection of "real" owners who are able to market and rent directly. I took my wife and several teenagers for a week in August - and we had a marvelous time. The unit is as advertised. Clean, remodeled, painted equipped and supplied. Everything worked, there are plenty of towels, scuba gear, soap etc. The Kitchen is stocked and the only thing we had to buy was food and drinks. The beach is a very short walk directly across the road. Our kids were able to walk North on the road to markets, shops, surfing lessons and more. The pool at the condo is clean and very quiet, but remember to take your room keys as you will need them to get in and out of the pool gate. Another nice touch is the wireless internet access that we were able to use with my laptop. This is not the Hyatt Regency, but as an inexpensive unit, it far exceeded our expectations. I hope that this helps to alleviate your fears. As a professional sceptic of more than 25 years, I can say we were VERY VERY pleased. We have already recommended this unit to two other friends/families that are planning trips . . . . . Michael and Debbie Kendrick
