About the owner: I was a military brat that traveled all over the country during my younger years but finally settled in Rhode Island my teenage years. When I was old enough, I moved back to Albuquerque, NM. Although I was born in Texas , my husband is the true 'Texan' who grew up there and worked ranches and traveled playing country and blues. I met my 'pizza man' at CiCi's Pizza in 1997 after his family moved from Texas to start the CiCI's Pizza franchise. He was well known around Albuquerque for his warm personality and polite 'yes ma'am/sir' responses. He is a sweet southern gentleman with a down to earth working man's demeanor.
Both of us waited a long time to meet the 'right' person. So after getting married that same year we jumped right into starting a new business located in the hub of Albuquerque (Coors and I-40) called Move-it Yourself Center. This was the perfect business for our skills. He loved working with trucks and trailers and I loved supporting our dream of owning our own business. We were also a U-Haul dealership. This business allowed him to help people through the most stressful times of their lives (e.g.,planning moves due to job loss, house moves or sometimes major family changes). Our dealership became one of the top 100 dealerships in the nation out of over 16,000 dealerships.
Like many others around the nation, 2008 proved a trying time for us and we were forced to close up shop in 2009 due to the economy. But now we get to embark on this new adventure called VRBO. We get to help people have fun and relax by providing a warm and inviting environment for their stay in Albuquerque.

Why the Owner Chose Albuquerque: We absolutely love this property that was lovingly kept and nurtured by the late owner of Loyola's Family Restaurant which is still family run and offers New Mexican food. It is located just around the corner on Central Ave. SE. For you Breaking Bad (BrBa) fans, Mike and Jesse ate here during Season 5! We hope we can honor Loyola's love for her home by sharing the peaceful feelings that are present within it's walls. The neighbors are genuine and are proud of their quiet neatly kept street. Even the roadrunners next door seem to take pride in their home and regularly run around tasting the water left out for them in the surrounding yards.
