Location: Gold Beach, Southern Coast, Oregon, USA
Accommodations: Beach Cottage, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 4)
Just two blocks from the ocean in a convenient in-town location, this charming vacation cottage is a perfect getaway for two to four people ready to enjoy all the Southern Oregon coast has to offer.
The smoke-free cottage is in easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants and beach access. One can enjoy the sensational Gold Beach area, including the Rogue and Chetco rivers, Humbug Mountain State Park and miles of ocean beaches.
Gold Beach is home to the Rogue River, known for its world famous salmon fishing and the exciting jet boat rides up to and beyond the old logging town of Agness.
For golfing enthusiasts, there is world-class golf at Bandon Dunes (an easy day trip away to the town of Bandon), one of the most talked about courses on the west coast. Gold Beach has its own golf course with beautiful mountain vistas.
Miles of flat, sandy beaches offer unlimited beach fun. Sea lions frolic in the surf and one can spot whales as they make their migration to and from Mexico in the winter months. Agate hunting is one of the favorite activities for beachcombers and early risers have been known to find glass ball floats washed in from the Far East as they tide pool.
A drive up the rugged and beautiful Oregon coast offers some of the most spectacular scenery around. Between Gold Beach and Bandon there is one of the many Oregon coast lighthouses, which can be toured.
Make our home your home away from home on the wonderful southern Oregon coast!
