Our mountain escape offers all the conveniences of home tucked away in the solitude of a beautiful mountain valley, 15 minutes from the Village of Grand Lake. Four bedrooms with queen beds, one set of bunk beds, a fouton and a convertible couch allow for comfortable sleeping for up to twelve guests.
Enjoy all of the comforts of home including a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to entertain, satellite TV, and a DVD/VCR. We provide all the linens and bedding you will need for your stay.
Walk to nearby National Forest and discover an endless trail system that can be accessed year-round for everything from hiking and biking to snowmobiling and cross country skiing. Spot moose, elk, deer, and more from our scenic windows overlooking the aspen stands and mountain range in the distance. You must see the colors when the Aspen trees change in the fall!
Summer fun includes golfing, biking, hiking, fishing, horse back riding and water sports. In the winter the Village of Grand Lake is the gateway to numerous cross country ski trails and has one of the largest snow mobile trail systems in the state. Snowmobile right from the house and enjoy the huge network of groomed trails nearby. A short drive will take you to the western entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the crown jewels of the National Park Service.

This is our Labor Day retreat for the past 5 years. After a day of.... Adam's Falls hiking, Swimming in the Lake, Bingo in the evening, local micro brews, great food selections and lovely small town atmosphere; we retreat to a lovely secluded home in the woods. Absolutely LOVE it! This home is well stocked, very clean, well kept and very inviting. You cannot go wrong! Thanks Mark and Jen.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! The house was very comfortable and was well equipped to handle our family for a delightful four days of fishing, boating, hiking + wildlife watching. The grandkids played near the bottom of the drive last night when a moose came by . . . they all scurried to the house wide eyed + excited - an adventure to talk about for awhile! :) This setting is fantastic - Thank you again for a special vacation spot.Did you find this review helpful?
