It is a pink stucco home in the Spanish style. The entrance archway is covered with bright red bougainvillea and fragrant jasmine while the building is surrounded by pink hibiscus, bird of paradise, and interesting tropical fruit, flowers, and spices in gardens. Inside the middle unit, the top floor is one large bedroom and tiled bath with a shower, a balcony, and French doors on both ends. The bedroom is tastefully decorated with attractive coverings for the king-sized bed. This addition is only a few years old and has a bright and open feeling with views in all 4 directions. A washer and dryer are also on this floor.
The downstairs consists of a newly remodeled, gorgeous kitchen with tile counters and walls, a living room with a pull-out queen-size sofa, bathroom with shower, and dining are which seats four. The floors are all Mexican tile with Oriental carpets. French doors lead to an amazing garden of banana, bird of paradise, jasmine and bamboo plants surrounding the paved patio with large decorative wicker table and chairs and a gas grill.
The two smaller end units have identical floor plans each with a full kitchen plus a washer/dryer,
newly remodeled tiled bathroom, living room (with deluxe queen sleeper sofa) and bedroom (queen mattress) with a large, private garden deck off the glass doors. The apartments are decorated in a lively beach style for your own busy world get-a-way. Our guests love the decks for a leisurely breakfast, settling in with a novel, or grilling some delicacies from nearby Shaners.
The end units are smaller with a bright and airy bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a remodeled bathroom with a shower and tub, an eat-in kitchen, and a living room looking out at the flowers. There is a small patio with a gas grill. One of the units has French doors.
Both have and a garden deck off the bedroom.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the triplex. It was a wonderful vacation. The area is safe and quiet, the accomodation delightful, the patio very romantic with the little lights at night, and the short walk to the beach was great! Leslie was very helpful in recommending restaurants nearby with their personal restaurant guide. Now we want to go back this winter but cannot seem to get the reservation because she is full and for good reason.Maybe next year...

The listing description and photos did not accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. It was a disappointment - the photos looked much better, the rental was somewhat shabby. The exterior looked tired. Each room had at least one burned-out light bulb. The lamp in the bedroom was missing its turn-on knob. The washing machine broke after the second load and we had to walk our wet clothes to the laundromat 2 blocks away. We contacted the owner and never received any follow-up information regarding the washing machine. We finally found the binder that contained information regarding arrival/departure and information about the area on our last day. It was buried beneath magazines in a basket under the end table in the livingroom. We would not recommend this vacation rental to a friend or relative.
Owner response:We pride ourselves on preserving the clean, charming historic 1920's atmosphere of our apartments while updating them with the modern conveniences. Our gardens have lots of exotic plants (allspice, bananas, pomegranate, vanilla, ylang ylang, etc.) which we allow to grow naturally and for shade rather than the sterile manicured trimmings of an estate. We are disappointed the Mr. H. considers that "shabby" and "tired." We have recently updated our Pass-a-Grille Rentals website with more complete descriptions and pictures after working on it for several months. We came right over when he called about the problem with our new front loading washing machine and immediately contacted service when we couldn't fix it ourselves, but the earliest appointment was a couple of days later, the morning he left. As Mr. H was in the 5th day of his 7th day stay, had already done his wash, and told us it "was no big deal" we assumed everything was fine until the washer could be repaired. The pump was jammed with a foreign object from a recent load but was soon fixed. We're sure that one of the other tenants would have let him use their washer if he had needed one and had asked. Although we check the apartment when we clean, we ask all our tenants to let us know of any suggestions or if anything is wrong so that we my fix it before the next tenants ... really a partnership with our tenants. We knew of no bulbs that were out nor did we find any out when we checked. The light next to the bed did need a new knob so we replaced it. We apologize if our guidebook was under a magazine but it was right next to the couch and easy to see. We will ask our cleaners to make sure it is more prominently displayed. Most apartments don't have a personalized 100+ page guide book of what to see, eat, and do and what to avoid that we have worked on over the years. We had contacted Mr. H. after he left, to apologize once we knew of his complaints, but did not offer him a refund on his already deeply discounted rental rate. We wish Mr. H. all the best and hope he is happier elsewhere. To others, we welcome you to our places for the charm of 1920's Florida and our welcoming, personal hospitality.

My husband and I stayed in one of the smaller end units. It was fantastic and we hope to return! The rental was clean, comfortable, and adorable. The private deck was especially nice! Staying in Pass a grille is a great experience, it is a charming, laid back community that provides a much more relaxing atmosphere than the busy, commercialized hotel strips.

We had a wonderful ten days in Pass-a-Grille. Several days we did not even move the car. The patio was our favorite spot--grilling in March is a treat. Shoner's Market was two blocks away for great steaks and seafood. The unit was spotless and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. We especially enjoyed the morning walks and then breakfast at the SeaHorse.

This was my first time staying here and we loved it. We rented the side and middle units of the triplex for my sisters wedding/family vacation, and it was perfect for three couples a great grandmother and a one year old. The units were clean and just the right size. We had wonderful combined dinners and coffee in the mornings on the patio. A short 1 1/2 blocks walk to the beach and room to park the wagon filled with toys for the baby. I would recommend this Triplex for renters of any age. Thank you so much for a wonderful family vacation!

We have stayed at this place for the last two years. A perfect getaway for those seeking some private fun in the sun. The unit is clean and roomy We so enjoyed having dinner on the deck, strolling on the beach and the convenience of walking to the market for some kebobs for the BBQ. The unit is adorable, located in a quiet neighborhood just one block from the beach. Conveniently located near some excellent restaurants, and a roof top bar where the sunsets are beautiful You will find everything here. Thank you Leslie for sharing your piece of paradise, see you again this year!

This has been, by far, the best beach rental experience we have had. The owners are lovely, genteel people who have gone to great lengths to make their property comfortable and charming. Everything that you need from a corkscrew to a clothes washer was provided. Seconds from one of the best beaches in Florida and within walking distance of some very nice restaurants and stores (please try Gennaro's Italian restaurant, just a short block away!). This property has a nice double bed (comfortable) plus a sleeper sofa in the living room, large kitchen and a very cozy and romantic deck with very nice plantings. There are two televisions (I can't see why anyone would want to watch TV in paradise) and everything else you might need. We'll keep coming back year after year. Quite a find!

The best I can say about this unit is that it's so perfect for us that we have been staying there for the last five years for two months every winter and we will keep going back. The unit we stay at is always very clean, just the right size for two people plus visitors when necessary - the landlord is the best and she will go out of her way all the time to get you what you need. Every year, when we arrive, we find that she has done something new to improve the exterior and the interior of the unit - it has a back terrasse where we can lunch or dine and it's so convenient - But I would say that the best thing is that we are practically on the beach.........one minute walking distance...........There are lots of restaurant that we have come to visit and like: seafood, italian, american...........you have a choice..........and Pass A Grille is quiet - the triplex is on a side street between the intercoastal and the ocean ............During the week, the beach which is beautiful white sand is very quiet with only the residents using it - but a little busier over the weekends but still very nice. To resume all this, we would not stay anywhere else in Florida for our winter vacation.

2011 will be our 3rd year staying in this triplex. It is clean, cozy, and the location is perfect. The back porch is a nice added attraction. The appliances, plumbing, and heating/cooling are all very good. I've stayed in other rentals in the area. This is the best I've experienced. The owner is great. The triplex has several restaurants/bars and a convenience store within easy walking distance.
