This property is one of the most charming in the historic town of Pass-a-Grille. The beach access bridge is just a half block down the street. Across the street is the Jungle Cottage also described in this website. One block away is the bay and the Yacht Club. A ten-minute walk down the beach in one direction brings you to the Don Cesar Hotel and in the other, the downtown area of Pass-a-Grille.
It is a pink stucco, arched house with bright red bougainvillea, pink hibiscus, and white jasmine growing in the outside gardens. Inside the middle unit, the top floor is one large bedroom and tiled bath with a shower, a balcony, and French doors on both ends. The bedroom is decorated in an African motif with pretty coverings on the king-sized bed. This addition is only a few years old and has a bright and open feeling. A washer and dryer are also on this floor.
The downstairs consists of a newly remodeled, gorgeous kitchen with tile counters and walls, a living room with a pull-out queen-size sofa, bathroom with shower, and dining room which seats eight. The floors are all Mexican tile with Oriental carpets. French doors lead to a garden patio with large decorative metal table and chairs and a gas grill.
The end units are smaller with a bright and airy bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a remodeled bathroom with a shower and tub, an eat-in kitchen, and a living room looking out at the flowers. There is a small patio with a gas grill. One of the units has French doors
and a garden deck off the bedroom.
