Had a blast yet again at Bonnie and Terry’s condo. We love this condo, the ground floor has a peekaboo ocean view and has easy access to the pool and a short the walk to the beach. The only downside was we wish the bed was softer, but we bought and left a memory foam topper to help. Boogie boarding was great on beach 3. Hung out at Life’s a beach bar a few times after going to the store, it has ice cold beer and great pork nachos with view of the ocean and little league baseball games. Love coming back to Bonnie and Terry’s condo this is our second time here and we will absolutely come back in the future. We added to the pay it forward with a new boogie board, a snorkel set, and some spices, we enjoyed the cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, and other items that other guest have added.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Wonderful Vacation - Great Accomodations

Aloha! We just recently got back from our 8-day vacation in Kihei Maui. It was our first visit to Hawaii. This was a carefully planned family trip. Four of us shared the condo. We loved the split floor plan and the two bathrooms, the four of us never felt crowded. Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast on the lanai that opened to a lusciuos green lawn with bannana palm trees growing all around. The condo is on the first floor and that's a big plus. The owners also stocked it many things beach - towels, chairs, umbrella, boards - they thought of everything. I also appreciate Bonnie's fast responses to my emails with questions. We had a great time and can't wait to start planning our next trip to Kihei. Mahalo!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Good value for the money

We stayed at Kamaole Sands last year also and knew what to expect. The grounds are gorgeous and location wonderful. This condo is located in bldg. 5 which is inner courtyard. This is both good and bad. If you have children and you want to let them run and play right outside your door you will like it. If you are two adults you may actually prefer bldg 9 where children are less obvious and noisy. There is only a slight ocean view from this suite, and this when there has been recent pruning of the lovely low hedge-like palms. While the suite has had some remodelling the carpet really should go, and it would be nice to see newer linens. We did enjoy our stay. The proximity to the pool is great. We loved taking long walks along the beach in either direction from the resort. The barbecues are kept meticulously clean. All in all, acceptable suite and pretty good value.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Holiday in Maui!

We had a great time in Maui! The condo 5-110 provided most everything we needed. The description is very accurate. It was nice to have boogie boards, beach toys for our 6 year old, a beach umbrella, towels, and a snorkel and mask. We especially enjoyed dinners on the patio each night and the sunsets from the beach across the street. The pool and spas are very nice and BBQ grills convenient (had to buy a grill spatula, but you won't). : ) We had the opportunity to visit friends who were staying in Kaanapali. The west side was one of the two choices we wanted to stay. We are glad we chose Keihi. Here the weather was much better than the west side and it is more centrally located - easy access to road to Hana, Haleakala N.P., Maui Ocean Center, and the west side. One drawback to our 10 days here was the noise - doors seemed to be slamming (auto closures), sprinklers come on at 1:00 A.M., baby crying next door, people not really aware of how loud their voices are, people emptying their recycling. It is high season, though! We would definitely come back to this area and condo, but will be more prepared for the "action".

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We had a great trip and this condo was perfect for our family. It's clean and well maintained. Bonnie is very very nice and response so quickly. We felt we are at home and it has everything we need. Full kitchen even with rice cooker! The beach toys and boogie boards, plenty of beach towels all made it so easy for us. And the washer and dryer even with detergent provided! Bonnie thought of every details for you. The location right next to the pool is so convinient. My 5 year old daughter loved the swimming pool not any less than the beach! We definitely recommend this place! We will come back if we come to Maui again! Thank you Bonnie for providing such a wonderful place!

Very pleasant one bedroom ground floor Unit opening to the grassy area.& overlooking the pool.Our family are regular visitors to Kamaole Sands 2 bedroom Units and my wife and I really enjoyed an extended stay here.

Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children.

This is our 2nd time staying in your condo...we just love it!! It feels like a home away from home. We especially enjoyed the ease o returning...being familiar with your place. We did a whale watch with the non profit group - Pacific Whale Foundation. It was fabulous. The staff was great. We were with our two year old and it was o problem, en had a shaded "kids" corner. So that was a highlight...lots os whale sightings!!! We love going to the beach for sunset.. did that every night!! Tuesday evenings at the Tiki Lounge arross from Foodland behind "Big Daddys" Baby Beach in Lahina was the BEST beach for little ones.Ask locals how to find it as it is tricky Maui is Paradise - wish we could stay longer. We will be back to Bonnie & Terry's place - we love it - perfect location. Lisa, George & Isabel from BC, Canada

Bonnie and Terry, Thank you so much! We had a wonderful stay, and are sad to be back home in the snow. Next time we will have to stay for longer! We greatly appreciated the beach towels and boogie boards and beach toys for our 10 month old. She loved playing with the toys under your shade umbrella. I would recommend your unit to anyone with kids, as it's steps away from the pool, and with the walk out lanai makes it so easy!

Our first family vacation with our 15 month old son. The condo was great, clean, bright, cozy and great location. My son loved sitting on the patio watching the birds. Really appreciated the beach toys, mats and umbrella. Would definitely return to Maui and will recommend this place to our friends. The McQuarries, Canada

Words cannot describe how wonderful this trip to Maui has been. There were 13 of us that came here from Washington State and every day on the island was fantastic. I think my husband and I will be moving here. This condo was perfect for our family of four; we felt at home here and there is no better feeling than that. We spent our 25th Anniversary at this wonderful condo in Maui. The condo was jusct excellent in every way. We left if as we found it. Clean and inviting for the next lucky folks to stay here. Everyone at Kamaole Sands was so nice. Extraordinary vacation - the island offers so much. I'm one of those people who never sits still. The ocean is outstanding and the condo location ideal. The condo was fantastic and had everything we needed. Thank you. We look forward to our next vacation here at Kamaole Sands and your condo. The beach was definitely our favorite place. This ranks as our best holiday destination.

Bonnie & Terry, We cannot than you enough for sharing your condo with us for our honeymoon. We have had an amazinbg tinme here in Maui. The condo was perfect for our much needed and well deserved week of relaxation. After months of wedding planning we relaxed and just took in the beauty of Maui. The road to Hona and he Pipiwai Trail hike are incredible and an absolute must for all gusts to Maui. Again, thank you for an incredible time.

Eighth time back! Too young to eretire here but love coming back. Third time staying in kamaole Sands and yours is definately the best units with the best location for the pool - just wonderful. The added condiments and complete furnishings were truly appreciated. Enjoyed ourselves - thank you so much.

Bonnie & Terry, Another sunny day in Paradise today, unfortunately our last!We so enjoyed calling this our island home base for the past 2 weeks. Bonnie & Terry, Great location and great condo. We had a total of 10 family members and were able to have 2 ground floor condos in building 5. This is really the best building and ground floor is a must. Access to the pool and a safe swimable beach was important to us and we were not disappointed. Best of all the condo was so well equipped - it had everything we needed - a lot of attention to furnishings. Mahalo. We will be back!

Bonnie & Terry, What a great place to stay! This place is wonderful, lots of towels, dishes, everythibng we need. We came for our son's wedding and i was able to decorate his cake here!. We will definately come back here and also recvommend it to our friends. The whale watching trip was wonderful! Thank you for having us and having such a great condo.
