Each has its own deck from which you can watch the sunrise and sunset. With summer water temperatures averaging in the low 70's, this gorgeous lake makes swimming a refreshing delight. The lake houses the largest fish hatchery in the state of Maine which stocks the lake with bass, land-locked salmon and lake trout. There is a very gradual entry, making it safe for small children. You will enjoy the surrounding wildlife and tranquility of the scenic countryside as you leave the rest of the world behind. Our cool nights are wonderful for restful sleep, broken only by the soothing early morning cry of a beautiful loon. Enjoy a good book, explore the lake by canoe, walk a nature trail or just relax at the water's edge. You can barbeque outside with the family, explore the many hills and hidden ponds and feel the exhilaration of a great day of fishing.
