Our homes have some of the best rental rates in Lake Tahoe and include the Tahoe Ski Chalet, Skyland Retreat, Zephyr Cove Chateau, and Black Bear Chalet. The Tahoe Ski Chalet is a lodge-style chalet with three bedrooms, two baths and sleeps eight guests. It has an over-sized great room that features an exposed beam ceiling with a suspended antique Conestoga wagon wheel chandelier, and a gorgeous floor to ceiling used brick fireplace. After a long day on the slopes, wrestling the "one-armed bandits" (slot machines), or shopping the outlets, sitting in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine or hot chocolate can't be beat. For the young at heart, continue the fun with our new FOOSBALL TABLE.
The home is centrally located within minutes of Heavenly Valley, Sierra at Tahoe, Kirkwood, the casinos, restaurants, and of course, beautiful Lake Tahoe; yet it is less than a block away from national forest preserve which is perfect for hiking and biking in the summer.
For the adventurous hikers, the views from the top of the hill are breathtaking. There is a meandering stream with falls where the kids can enjoy fishing and splashing, while the adults enjoy a picnic lunch. In the winter, many have used this area for cross country skiing.
Everyone loves to lounge in the HOT TUB after a long day of sporting activities. The large deck is perfect for relaxing while the steaks are on the barbecue. Enjoy the quiet and hear the sounds of nature. It is truly peaceful.

My family had a wonderful experience at this property. It was comfortable and clean and had everything you could need. The hot tub and foosball table were a hit with the teens. The neighborhood was peaceful and friendly. The owner was easy to work with and very accomidating. I cannot wait until I have an excuse to go back to South Lake again! I will definately look to see if this property is available. I have already had friends asking for the link to this property so they can check it out for themselves. Most restful and peaceful vacation I have had in years. I would like to rent it in the winter and sit by that beautiful fireplace.

This house was perfect for 4 adults and drop-in guests while we were attending our daughter's wedding. Felt like home with all the amenities. Comfortable, quiet, and the foosball table was a plus. Would definitely recommend this one.
