When we arrived at the condo, we only left a few times. It was so much to do at the resort. Our 2 year old grandson was with us & he was entertained the whole week. We went to the grocery store & out to eat a couple of times. Otherwise we stayed in the pools or lazy river most of the time when we weren't tanning. We were on the bayside & walked across to the beach a few time. We preferred the lazy river. It was so relaxing. You can bet we will return!

Bill literally saved our vacation after having a bad condo at majestic sun we got in touch with Bill and he immediately let us go look at the condo and we loved it. It was very clean and nicely decorated and convenient to the pools which our girls loved we could finally relax and enjoy the rest of our vacation we would definitely come back and thanks so much Bill.

Great place to stay

We loved the condo. The decor was even better in person. It was a perfect ground floor location. We would just step down off our balcony to the pool and lazy river. Using the sky bridge to walk to the beach was so convenient, only a 5 minute walk with kids and beach gear in tow. The property is just beautiful. It faces the bay, so we took the kids crabbing there right off the dock. We really like the family friendly atmosphere of it all from the bunk room to the zero entry pool, lazy river, and family hot tub, etc. The owner did a great job stocking all the essentials for the kitchen, and we were able to easily cook our meals there. We enjoyed a couple of meals out, and the location is very convenient to Destin, Harborwalk, etc. We rented a pontoon boat from True Blue one day, and they are located right off the dock near Destin West, so we walked there in just a couple of minutes. We are already planning next year's trip, and we definitely want to stay here again!

Absolutely loved staying here! We loved how the patio opened up right to the pool and lazy river. Could sit on patio and watch kids swim. Although its not right on the beach, we weren't disappointed. The bay behind us was beautiful. And access to beach directly across from condo. We are planning our next stay here already:)

What a perfect week!!

We recently returned from our vacation at Destin West and want to go back now!! We had 4 adults and 2 toddler aged children and it was a great place to stay. The king bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable, and the bunk room and queen sleeper sofa allowed us to all easily sleep comfortably. The location was great with the views of the pool area, and the walk to the beach was very convenient. The water in the bay was nice to take a quick dip if you don't want to walk all the way to the beach. It's also a great location in relation to shops and restaurants, as the boardwalk is within walking distance. I will say thought that I was a bit annoyed by the dozens of 20-somethings that were partying at the pool Saturday and Sunday nights, making it impossible for anyone with a family to enjoy the pool or hot tubs, but the rest of the week was very pleasant. Thanks for a great trip guys, we can't wait to come back!!

This is a nice condo in a very good location. It is perfectly located between the beach and the bay. You can see the bay from the condo. The beach is a short walk over the bridge. The beach is beautiful! The condo is just as described and decorated very cute. It is very convenient to be able to walk out of the condo door straight to the pool. The grounds are very clean and kept up nice. The only complaint I would have is the lack of supplies in the condo. There were no paper towels, no garbage bags and 1 1/2 rolls of toliet paper for a week...You hate to have to run to the store while on vacation to pick up things that ought to be supplied---Other than that it was a very nice experience and the owners were very pleasant!

Exactly as advertised with everything you need to have a great time; except the family, sunscreen, and a few groceries. We loved the condo-very clean and welcoming with a super comfy king bed-and the resort had everything a family needs~ Would love to come back next year!

my family and i travel to destin every summer as i have family that live in the area-have stayed at several resorts and destin west is our fav place to stay-i have a 4 year old and my sis has 2 boys 5 and 2-they love the lazy river-the adults love it to! and the spray park with access to the ramada's pool with swim in bar just make this the best family place-condo was very nice with w&d-very well furnished, clean and beautifully decorated-had a great time and will be back for more! the kids insist on it!

Destin West Condos is a fantastic family vacation. This condo was especially great... Last year we stayed in the penthouse and although it was nice, the Lanai unit was 10 times better. With my girls I didn't have to worry about watching to see if they made it to the pool safely- just a few steps out the patio and they were in the lazy river! It was awesome. We had a blast down there. We went through all our pictures again last night again (almost a thousand!) and concluded yet again that it was one of the most relaxing vacations we’ve had in a loooong time.We are thinking of bringing some family along next year (all of them are still in South Africa), but on the other hand, it was nice having all the time and space reserved for ourselves. Regardless, we’ll see you again next year!

The condo was very nice and exactly as pictured. Great location between Ft. Walton and Destin. Bayside had easy access to the beach via the skywalk and lazy river and pools kept the kids entertained.

Shelley, Just wanted to drop a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Destin West. We had a great time floating in the lazy river and enjoying some of the activities around the area. THE SINGLE MOST relaxing vacation we've ever taken with 3 young children! VERY clean (for a crawling baby), well-stocked, comfortable, top-quality condo...we can't wait to come back soon! We would highly recommend this unit to anyone interested. The pools, lazy river, kiddie splashpark, and hot tubs were AWESOME, the walk to the beach was minimal, and Shelley made the vrbo process smooth as silk. Shelley,Just a short note to say we arrived at the condo this afternoon. It is absolutely fabulous. Although the pictures were great, they don’t do this place justice. The décor is fabulous. In fact, we are huge Jimmy Buffet fans and Lance wants to know where we can get the parrot print that is in the master bath room. I personally love the 2 in the living room.We’ll fill out the guest book, but wanted you to know that we LOVE it and we have only been here for 3 hours and 45 minutes. I was worried that we would need things once we got here, but man, you thought of EVERYTHING. I’m sad to see that you have it for sale….we really want to make this an annual trip.Thanks so much. Me and my husband and our (2) children (Boys 2 and 8) recently vacationed to Okaloosa Island. It is located near Niceville and Destin. We stayed for 4 days and loved it there. The condo is very spacious and so easy to make yourself at home there. The condo is overlooking the Choctawhatchee Bay it is located right next to the swimming pool area. There are (2) hot tubs in the pool area and it has a lazy river that circles the whole swimming area "very nice". It also has a small swimming area for smaller children and a water fall by the main pool. The beach is located (walking distance) acrooss the street from the condo. There are all types of family restraunts, go kart riding, bungee jumping, minature golfing and parasailing located near by. This is a beautiful place to vacation for family and couples.
