We stayed at Judy's condo for Labor Day weekend (9-2-2011 through 9-5-2011). It is a beautiful condo that has all the amenities that we needed for a weekend getaway. It was so nice to see that there were alot of extras in the condo like a big boiling pot for shrimp, 4 beach chairs, umbrella even a small cooler so that you don't have to bring everything from home. Overall, the condo was clean and spacious. The ocean view over the pool from the deck of the condo is peaceful and refreshing. We even sat on the couch inside with the curtain open and had a great view of the ocean. It was a short drive to the beach, and we also walked right out the door down about ten steps and around to the pool. There is an elevator too which was nice because my little one was in a stroller. The seafood at Gay Fish Company was amazing, we cooked shrimp and fish from there for two of the three nights. Overall wonderful condo that we will be visiting again....

Great condo. Very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. The view was Awesome.The owner was very easy to deal with even under such short notice. Thank You for making our first (but not the last) trip to Fripp Island enjoyable.

Fripp Island condo

This condo is right on the ocean with a great view. There is no beach access, only a rock retaining wall. The beach access is a short walk from the condo, and is accessible during low tide only. The best beach area is a short drive from the condo. There are all the necessary items in the kitchen to prepare basic meals. The unit was clean, but could use some minor repairs. The kitchen had a drawer support that had dropped in the back and could not be pulled open. The stove worked fine but is an older model with electric coils that did not set evenly. These were minor issues and woould not stop us from renting this condo again. The owner was very responsive to my e-mails and was very easy to deal with. We had quite a few e-mails back and forth prior to making my reservation. Overall, this condo is in a great location in a quite buliding. It had a great layout and we really enjoyed being able to open the balcony doors and the front door and windows to allow the fresh ocean air in. The best part of this vacation was being able to bring our four legged child with us. I think the dog enjoyed her vacation even more than we did! It is perfect for a quite vacation spent relaxing by the pool or on the balcony. Fripp Island is a distance from Beaufort, with the nearest grocery store a good 30 min. drive away. The island is beautiful, with an aboundance of wildlife. If you plan on visiting any of the island restaurants or using the big pools you will need an amenities card. We did not pay for the card, as our plans did not include using the big pools or the island restaurants. I would recomend getting a golf cart for the time you are there. There is more beach access parking for golf carts than there is for cars. It is also easier to find parking at the pools with a golf cart. If you are looking for an action packed vacation with lots of shopping, amusements, and bars, Fripp Island is not for you. If you just need a week of complete relaxation spent enjoying nature then Fripp Island is a great choice.

We have really enjoyed our stay at Fripp Island. It was nice to be able to relax and soak up some sun. Your condo is absolutely gorgeous and was the perfect place for down time. The kids took full advantage of the games you had to offer. They were a great late night form of entertainment. We lookford to visiting Fripp Island again soon and extending our stay next time. Dolphins, Turtles, Alligators and Pelicans and Deer, OH,MY! And we have our favorite 4 legged buggy, Quincy with us too! Couldn't be more perfect. The ocean and refreshing breeze is right here all of the time. I love waking up facing the sunrise and listening to the sea and birds. No distractions just nature all around. Judy, your seaside home is wonderful.

Judy, Thank you so much for your wonderful villa with the heavenly ocean view. We have just loved our respite from the snows and frigid north, and I do not want to go back to fare mountains of snow. We were very comfortable in your lovely home. It was just the right amount of space and a great layout. And imagine lying in bed in the morning looking out on the ocean. That's a dream!

Thanks so much for sharing your condo with us. We had such a very wonderful and relaxing 3 weeks here. It was our first trip to Fripp and we loved it so much, we also bought a condo.
