We take great care to provide everything you need for your stay - from beautiful, comfortable furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen with new appliances, to the small details that make renting more enjoyable, such as over 100 digital TV and music channels including HBO, ample and high quality toiletries, pantry necessities and laundry supplies. We specialize in flexible rental schedules including partial week rentals and mid-week check-in during the summer. Our goal is to provide a perfect beach vacation for those who appreciate the very best.
The master bedroom and the living room overlook the ocean from this second-floor villa. The guest bedroom has its own bathroom and can be closed off from the rest of the living space. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to create a culinary masterpiece or to simply prepare and enjoy the fresh local seafood. The entire villa is tastefully decorated with upscale furniture including leather sofas, a formal glass dining table, and beautiful new suites with new Euro-top mattresses in both bedrooms.
Relax and sip a glass of wine on the private balcony overlooking the ocean, swim in the villa complex's private pool, or take a long walk on Harbor Island's spectacular beach. You will also have free access to the beach club with its Olympic-size pool, fitness center, playground and tennis courts. While you will be tempted to never leave the island, the area has excellent recreational opportunities with several beautiful and challenging golf courses nearby, plentiful fishing, crabbing, and shrimping, as well as unique shopping opportunities in historic downtown Beaufort.
Harbor Island is a small gated community located near Fripp Island and Hunting Island State Park, surrounded by the ocean and Saint Helena Sound. Once you have discovered the unique beauty and privacy of Harbor Island, you will want to return every year.

This condo is not exactly as described - it's even better! I've been a VRBO renter on several occasions and two continents and this is the best-equipped and thoughtfully arranged property yet. Such a pleasure to find charming extras like a welcome basket of treats, enough provisions for breakfast, and lots of good literature about the area. The owners were most helpful before and during our stay and went above and beyond what was expected. My love affair with Harbor Island has lasted over twenty years now and I was pleased to be able to introduce a friend to this lovely spot. She hopes to return and so do my husband and I. There is more on offer now in Frogmore (although we didn't try the restaurants) and Charleston and Savannah are easy drives away but the beach remains the greatest glory. Go and prepare to leave all your cares behind.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Have stayed at this condo for the past two years--comfortable, convenient, and quiet! Just steps from both the beach and the pool. Really enjoy the condo and Harbor Island! Plan to return this year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My 2 children and I spent several days here in June 2010 and could have not been happier. The balcony overlooked the pool and ocean. Everything was just as stated and hope to be there next summer. MarkRecommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had a wonderful visit to your villa and to Harbor Island. We visited, explored Beaufort and ate a lot of good food. We were able to ignore the bad weather. When we could see past the fog the view was fabulous! But most importantly; I've never felt so WELCOME at a beach rental. We've rented many beach homes over the years and never has anyone shared as you do with your renters. The welcome basket was just the beginning! Having the toiletries, the paper goods, the detergent to wash that one load of clothes, the spice to boil the shrimp.......I could go on. Our family vacation at your condo was a wonderful experience. The welcoming basket that greeted us upon our arrival was a special touch. The accomodations were great, the views of the ocean (shrimp boats and dolphins)were fantastic, and the availability of multiple pools, childrens playground was appreciated. I found 57874 to be a delightful place - very roomy, beautiful views, quiet, all amenities you could want, and well supplied with necessities. The second bedroom is very private - having guests join you is wonderful because they have their own bath and TV and they are separate from the main part of the condo. At low tide the beach is endless. Being a gated community adds a feeling of security. This is the place to get away from the high rise type of ocean experience!Did you find this review helpful? We want you to be aware of our flexible refund/reschedule policy to ensure guest safety during hurricane season. If Harbor Island is included in the NOAA five day forecast zone for a named storm, and you wish to cancel or reschedule your reservation, all you have to do is contact us. We will work with you to either refund your payments, pro-rate them to a partial stay or allow you to reschedule your vacation to another open date. We know that hurricane evacuations and arrangements can be extremely stressful, and we encourage our guests to do what they feel is best for their family in these situations. If you are staying at the villa and a mandatory evacuation is issued, PLEASE heed the local authorities immediately. The unused portion of your rental can be refunded, so do not hesitate to call us once you have reached safety. These situations have been rare on Harbor Island, but we want you to know that your safety is important to us and you can be assured that we are more than happy to assist you in any way that makes your vacation more relaxing and trouble-free.Did you find this review helpful? Our vacation on Harbor Island was just what we needed! There was plenty to do when we weren't just relaxing. The beach was fun and finding good food was not a problem. Your condo had everything that we needed and made our stay very comfortable. Accommodations were exceptional and I really liked the way you chose to decorate it. About the owner: We are a professional couple from Charleston and we love to spend as much time as possible on the island. We are pleased to share our villa with guests who are looking for a beautiful and tranquil environment for relaxing at the beach. We have rented many properties at the beach ourselves over the years and understand what it takes to make a vacation convenient and trouble-free. We are proud to offer our guests amenities not usually found when renting through an agency - such as laundry products, paper towels and bath tissue, toiletries, basic spices and kitchen necessities and the like. We are also happy to help our guests plan their vacations by offering a detailed villa guide that outlines what can be found in the villa, as well as information on the local Beaufort and Sea Island area. This is our only vacation property and we manage it ourselves, so we can give your vacation the attention it deserves. Because we do not book the property as heavily as others, we are able to ensure that the high quality of the furnishings and amenities are maintained. We are also happy to accommodate mid-week and partial week rental dates, even during the summer season.

After renting twice on Harbor Island, we fell in love with the peace and beauty of the island. It is very hard to find a beach in the Carolinas that is as large and uncrowded as Harbor Island and the Beaufort area retains its rural character even today.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Harbor Island is a private residential beach community, not a resort. There is none of the hustle and bustle of nearby resort islands. There are relatively few condo units on the island, and our villa is located in the newest building. This is the only building on the island with villas on a single level, which makes it perfect for younger children and older folks alike. The building directly overlooks the water, with the large end of the beach at the end of the villa's boardwalk. In order to provide the highest quality accommodations, we allow a maximum of four people per rental party and visit the unit between each rental to replenish the supplies and ensure that all is in order for each guest.
