We arrived tired from a three day journey from a wintery Canada, plus a raging rain storm as we drove through Atlanta. Friends had booked a condo down the beach for the same period. We helped them with their luggage, then proceeded to 57899. As we entered the condo, we all had the same reaction; a jaw dropping expression. Your photos do justice to your beautiful condo. Not only is the design and the furniture a knotch above the norm, but like the previous comments, you left the little things for us to use. Dishes, wine glasses, 'sharp knives' and bless your heart, you even had some Montreal Steak Spice. (we're from that great city) Towels, and bedding were clean, fresh and plentiful. The dolphins and diving pelicans kept us entertained, and the people working at the restaurants and local markets were delightful. I also ate a years supply of fresh shrimp, thanks for the tip for the fish market. One of your guests summed up their comments in one word and I reiterate: "Awesome" Thanks for sharing your home with us. The down side of our experience is that our dear friends couldn't enjoy the month with us due to a serious medical problem. I know they would have been as blessed as we were.

I would like to thank you so much for the wonderful experience we had last week at your unit. Everything was in place that we could ask for or think of and we were so impressed with both the size and the cleanliness of the entire rental. The views were breathtaking from almost every room in the unit. Usually when places comment that they have beach chairs for your use, it is the bottom bargain chairs that are uncomfortable or they break when you use them. Yours are top of the line and we used them every day so we could dip our toes in the water. The kitchen was so equipped with everything that we really didn't need to bring some of the things that we did. Your pots and skillets were some of the best we have used (usually we bring our own skillet), and your knives were exceptionally sharp (we own a meat store and we usually bring our own knives!). Cooking in on the few nights that we did was a pleasure instead of a scavenger hunt looking for what all we needed. We did leave behind some of our favorite spices, tea bags, etc. for those who follow. I was boarding the plane in Atlanta to Ft. Walton when I got word that my sister had taken a turn for the worse...she has been fighting cancer for 4 1/2 years. I could not have been in a better place to escape the inevitalbe call I received Monday night. Your place was a true get away for me to sit back and take in the reality of it all. To appreciate the beauty around me and to shut out the rest of the world for a while. Thank you for providing that for me, it will always have special memories for me and I look forward to return again next year.

Perfect location & unbelievable views

This condo exceeded our every expectation, which were high to start. We're not normally "morning people", but the view from the master bedroom alone made us anticipate rising at dawn's early light. The full side of windows along the side of the condo had full western beach & sunset views from every part of the living/dining/kitchen area, and allowed us to enjoy our time at the beach, even when we were indoors. Our kids LOVED the bunk space & the 2nd bedroom was a spacious retreat for my mother. The kitchen was fully equipped & the owners had spices, cookware, beach chairs, pool floats & beach toys available, which was WAY above what we have experienced in other rentals. Ft. Walton was a much more quiet & laid back area than nearby (busy) Destin & we were glad for the small # of condos in the complex - we always had a front row seat at the beach and never had a traffic delay, and there were kayak & board rentals on the beach in front of our building. The complex pool was perfect for a dip with our 2 younger kids & they loved the 3'-4' depth that they could navigate without all the life jackets & gear they needed in the ocean. This was a perfect vacation destination for families with younger kids. The location was really close to the grocery store in Ft. Walton, 15 minutes from the regional airport, and a quick drive to Destin if you want more nightlife, restaurants, sport rentals, traffic & crowds. We would recommended Okaloosa Island and this condo over anything available in Destin. We hope to return again next year.

The condo was absolutely marvelous. We had the master bedroom, loved the view and the sound of the waves! ahhhhhh There were only two days that the water was a little murky, June grass. The rest of the time it was clear and beautiful. I am so glad we went. The tar balls were not a big deal. The crews were out daily checking and sifting the sand if needed. One day we rented a boat and went to Crab Island. The next day we went parasailing which was awesome. My niece spent most of the days in the water boogie boarding. We tried some new restuarants and of course we ate fresh seafood everyday. We brought back a cooler full for our kids as well. As for the condo, you thought of everything! Everything we could possibly need was provided. It was comfortable, feeling just like home but with a awesome view. We used the balcony every evening watching the moon rising over the water. Beautiful! My sister-in-law and her husband want to come back next year. They were as pleased and impressed as we were. Thank you again for a relaxing and fun filled vacation. You have a wonderful home and I thank you for sharing it with us. It is back to reality for us, but we have wonderful memories and great pictures.

We had a great time. This condo is perfect. It has all the extras so all you need to pack are your swimsuits. I think we enjoyed the condo as much as the beach itself. It's spacious and comfortable. South Beach is a small complex which makes for less croud. We loved that! We did witness one day of 'tarballs'. They were cleaned up the next day and regardless of what the media has portrayed, there was no odor what so ever and the water was beautiful! Thanks Debbie, you really know how to make a vacation special.

Our April 2010 vacation was enjoyed by all. Just a few steps from the building to the fine, white sand and gulf, with beautiful clear water. Grounds and condo were clean and convenient. Good, safe neighborhood. Rooms are very well decorated and larger. Really good views. Half bath and bunk room are nice extras. Completely furnished and very cooperative owner. We met only friendly people on the beach, whether from our building or those we passed on our many walks east and west. We enjoyed Dewey Destin's restaurant in Destin just over the bridge (rustic, informal, on the water and good food). We also enjoyed the Air Force museum and short trip to the Northwest Florida Regional airport. I definetly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. It was one of our best vacations and would rent this condo in the future.

We've been to Okaloosa many times before but the experience we had at South Beach this year was the absolute best vacation ever! Everything we needed was right there or not far away - the beach was wonderful as was the weather - the views were amazing - we even saw a wedding on the beach! - the furniture was comfortable - the beds were awesome - I can't say enough great things! We plan on returning again and again! Thanks so much!

South Beach #401 has done it. You have accomplished the impossible... creating a perfect get away destination! We lacked nothing. Everytime I reached for a utensil, serving platter, the perfect sized pot etc... It was THERE! If I needed an extra pillow or blanket... It was THERE! You have managed to anticipate the needs of your guests & that is PRICELESS! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, your beach home is beautiful. We especially enjoyed all of the windows that provide such beautiful and uninterupted views of the emerald green waters. We hope to make a new family tradition of returning to SOUTH BEACH #401. South Beach 401 is everything the owners said it is and it's even more beautiful in person. It is fully stocked and so comfortable and peaceful that we didn't want to leave. It's a great location, close to Destin, yet secluded and quiet. The views from all the windows are so awesome, that we enjoyed being inside the condo as much as being down on the beach. We will definitely recommend it to our family and friends and we will be back!

The perfect spot! Ideally located on a magnificent beach - no crowds, no traffic congestion, yet close to great resturants and shopping destinations. Interior of condo is beautifully appointed, offering a wonderful combination of luxury and comfort. Thanks for all the special amenities. We absolutely loved our stay!

What a GREAT experience! If you want a PRIMO condo with awesome on-the-beach views, spaciousness with too many amenities to mention here, this is your unit. The place is furnished beautifully and tastefully. It is so comfortable and easily the nicest rental I have ever used. Highly recommend. P.S. The owners are awesome, accomodating, genuinely nice people. You'll love doing business with them!

Beautiful condo! Great views of the beach. Nice quiet beach but convenient to everything in Destin. We had such a great time we extended our stay and still didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this condo!
