My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this unit. The sunsets off the back porch over the lagoon were beautiful and we were able to walk to the beach, pool, golf course, and Sanctuary Hotel. The unit was clean and modern. Look forward to returning again next year.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa. The kitchen was updated and clean. We had a terrific view of the lagoon and an alligator (my kids loved that). The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The drive to the pool and ocean was less than a couple of minutes. Would definitely recommend to friends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Review on VRBO #57924 Kiawah was Fantastic, Villa Disappointing We were greeted the first night by a large cockroach like bug in the upper kitchen cabinet and by one on the wall above the king size bed. Several of their relatives visited us throughout the week, including one running across my wife’s hand one night as she tried to get to sleep. After mustering the courage to look under the bed, I found it was a storage area for what appeared to be a spare door and some old curtains. The villa is in need of an update. I opened a casement window in the master bedroom to get some fresh air and it swung open wildly and would not crank shut. The DVD players did not work - when I tried to check the wiring to the TV, I found there was no wiring. In fact, the DVDs power cord was not even plugged in. The coffee table was missing decorative knobs. The vertical blind on the sliding door was missing about 6 slats. The blinds in the bedroom needed painted or replaced. My daughter touched a panel on the kitchen cabinets and it fell off, nearly hitting her on the foot. The dishes and kitchen utensils could have been much better. The Villa’s location was very good. Kiawah’s staff was very responsive to our needs. They even came and hooked up one DVD player. The beach, pools, and resort facilities were great. About the owner: My wife and I have owned property on Kiawah for more than 10 years and have a thorough knowledge of the island. Plese don't hesitate to ask us questions. We also live locally so if a problem comes up during your visit we will be happy to resolve the matter swiftly.
Why the Owner Chose Turtle Cove Villas:
The natural setting and amenities are unsurpassed! The beach is perfect for swimming, running and biking with it's uniquely hard packed surface (most beach sand makes it difficult to ride a bike).
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
Our villa is part of the Kiawah Property Mangement program which entitles guests to certain amenities on the island. It also means you you recieve certain discounts and have 24 access to Kiawah's houskeeping service. This is not the case if you go with another villa or cottage on the island not managed by Kiawah!
