Quiet three bedroom apartment with hardwood floors located in the trendy St. Henri neighborhood on a tree-lined street. The NY time even talked about the neighborhood (http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/2013/05/12/travel/20130512-SURFACING.html?_r=0) It`s a block from almost everything - the subway system, grocery store, bars, restaurants, interesting antique stores, Zipcar parking. The apartment has air conditioning, full-size washer and dryer, tv, dvd player, free wireless internet. It`s located directly in front of a park on a quiet street with ample parking.

Just bring your clothes, groceries and your toothbrush Montreal is a vibrant city, with many festivals throughout the summer: Just For Laughs, The Montreal Jazz Festival, racing. You have a lot in close proximity to the apartment, but with the subway so close, you can go all over the city in a matter of a few minutes. The subway is safe and very easy to figure out. Generally it`s best to get an unlimited subway pass for three to seven days (be careful on the seven day pass because it runs Monday to Sunday). The Botonical Gardens are amazing in the summer. Bring a book, picnic and a bottle of wine with you.Lots of local bars, restaurants, the Atwater Market are walking distance. Brunch in Old Montreal can be charming, or just sitting on the square at one of the cafe`s people watching. Food is generally better outside of Old Montreal, but you will enjoy the cobblestone streets and the feeling of Europe. St. Denis has a fun beer garden (St. Souplice) and also a lot of cafe`s where you sit outside having your glass of wine. The Greek restaurants in The Plateau area are reasonable and have great food in an artsy area. Montreal has restaurants with foods from all over the world. There`s also a strong Italian population and you can get some great Italian food. Whatever you do, you will have fun in Montreal and this is a great location to do anything from!

About the owner: Born in Montreal, I spend my time between Jacksonville and Montreal. I am a CPA, married with a great american woman. We bought this 6plex in 2004, and renovated it one apartment after the other. 2 years ago I renovated completely one of the apartment for my own use, but since I am only in Montreal every now and then, I decided to share it with you. Let me tell you that I have high standards regarding where I live. When I travel, I always use VRBO to find a place to stay, so I know what is important to you and to me.
Why the Owner Chose Montreal: This property is awesome, it is quiet with a metro and grocery store at the corner of the street. I am a runner, so I enjoy the fact that I can go run on the mountain, or along the Lachine canal. I don't own a car in Montreal, since you can do everything walking, and with the metro being so close, you can go everywhere and in a faster way using the public transport. I also have 2 bicycle available for your enjoyement.
