Long Beach Island is a beautiful, family-oriented, vacation spot. Several towns dot the slender, eighteen-mile long barrier island. Our house is in Beach Haven Crest, three miles south of the causeway that crosses Barnegat Bay from the mainland to Long Beach Island.
The house is a very attractive and recently renovated, four-bedroom, single-family home. It is 2 1/2 blocks from the beach and one block from the bay. The home has an open and airy Living Room and Dining Room, a large and fully-equipped Kitchen, all modern appliances, and new furnishings. It also has central air conditioning, a washer, dryer, two cable TVs (including a new 42" plasma HDTV), DVR, DVD/Stereo, several ceiling fans, high-speed internet access and wireless LAN, with many extras. Guests can also use our seasonal beach badges instead of buying their own.
The four bedrooms (Queen, Full, two Twins, and two Twins/trundle bed) sleep eight, and there are two full baths plus an outside shower. The master bedroom has a master bath and small TV; the main TV is in the living room. Bedspreads, blankets and pillows are provided but you have to bring sheets and towels. The backyard has a gas grill and patio furniture, and there is plenty of off-street parking.
Our house is walking distance to several restaurants, a small grocery/deli, pizza, liquor store, ice cream parlor, and bookstore. The island’s only large supermarket is a half mile away; amusement park and arcades for young kids are another two miles beyond that.
We can accommodate families and/or adult groups (age ~25 and up). Our home is pet-free, and please no smoking inside the house. If you have any questions about LBI in general, let us know and we'll be happy to help.

We live in central New Jersey, about two hours from LBI. My wife works in insurance underwriting support, and I am the Director of Youth Programs at our church. I enjoy downhill skiing, playing ice hockey, a late afternoon beverage on the beach, and talking to our repeat and perspective guests at LBI. I also like talking to someone who is visiting for the first time and telling them about things to do and see on LBI.
Why the Owner Chose Beach Haven Crest
We have been coming to LBI for over 30 years, and there are many wonderful locations up and down the island. We like our spot because it's pretty close to a lot of activities but our local streets are quiet with no through traffic.

stayed here for four weeks in november 2010. stayed here mostly for work in the area. the place was well stock for cooking and entertainment. we enjoyed our stay and will definetly will stay here next time with need lodging on LBI. convenient for a trip to the mainland for shopping. would recommend.

What a lovely home! When we first arrived, we were impressed how comfortable, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated your house is. Everything that we needed was right here! Our experience was wonderful here. We really enjoyed our stay . . . a little too much rain tho. The bay was exciting getting crabs, the kids loved that. Wonderful family times out back with a great breeze blowing from the water. Great Dinner at "TUCKERS" a must again. Thank you.
