Long Beach Island is a beautiful, family-oriented, vacation spot. Several towns dot the slender, eighteen-mile long barrier island. Our house is in Beach Haven Crest, three miles south of the causeway that crosses Barnegat Bay from the mainland to Long Beach Island.
The house is a very attractive and recently renovated, four-bedroom, single-family home. It is 2 1/2 blocks from the beach and one block from the bay. The home has an open and airy Living Room and Dining Room, a large and fully-equipped Kitchen, all modern appliances, and new furnishings. It also has central air conditioning, a washer, dryer, two cable TVs (including a new 42" plasma HDTV), DVD/VCR/Stereo, several ceiling fans, high-speed internet access and wireless LAN, with many extras. Guests can alsu use our seasonal beach badges instead of buying their own.
The four bedrooms (Queen, Full, two Twins, and two Twins/trundle bed) sleep eight, and there are two full baths plus an outside shower. The master bedroom has a master bath and small TV; the main TV is in the living room. Bedspreads, blankets and pillows are provided but you have to bring sheets and towels. The backyard has a gas grill and patio furniture, and there is plenty of off-street parking.
Our house is walking distance to several restaurants, a small grocery/deli, pizza, liquor store, ice cream parlor, and bookstore. The island’s only large supermarket is a half mile away; amusement park and arcades for young kids are another two miles beyond that.
