Our multi story home can be your true home away from home. This house is built utilizing a reverse floor plan. Bedrooms and bathrooms are on the first two floor while the living, dining, kitchen and hot tub area are on the top two floors. Your view is maximized as is your privacy in the sleeping areas. Decorated in antiques and eclectic pieces our home offers you a comfortable vacation experience with all the amenities you will need.
To the front of the house is Puget Sound and over one mile of beach to walk, shells to collect, or just wander. Behind the house is a private lake which is habitat to many different types of bird and water fowl. Eagles soar over head and hummingbirds will buzz by for a quick visit.
Two very large decks on one side of the house plus a full roof-top deck with hot tub allow plenty of area for everyone to have their own space. The three bedrooms are on two different floors with the living, dining and kitchen on the third.
Coupeville is a five-minute drive from the house where you can shop, walk the wharf, dine, or view historic Penn Cove from the museum and shop. Or drive further north to beautiful Deception Pass and the breathtaking bridge crossing the pass. To the south of the island is Langley, home of many, many shops and restaurants. Perhaps you would like to take the Keystone Ferry to Port Townsend. You need not take your car to Port Townsend, walk on - enjoy the town - then come back - no ferry lines to deal with! It leaves from the dock only three minutes from the house.
Of course, you can always just hunker down and eat in with your fully-equipped kitchen. Or barbecue on one of the decks and watch the ships glide by and the sun go down. It is all up to you.
There is also a full-time caretaker located on-site to assist you with anything you require to make you vacation more enjoyable! The caretaker unit does not have access to the rental portion of the home. |
