Why the Owner Chose Kiahuna Plantation
Kiahuna Plantation is the only condominium resort in Poipu that's on a swimming beach. The Kiahuna Plantation was also built to half density, in other words there's half the condos that there could be and this allows for a luscious old Hawaii feel.

My husband and I first came to the Kiahuna Plantation on vacation in 1992 and fell in love with the Island instantly. We returned each year, spending more and more time on Kauai and eventually came up with an 8-year plan to move to the island. In the meantime, we purchased a Kiahuna Plantation condo for our annual visits and used it as a vacation rental when we weren’t on island. Our intent was to sell the condo once we moved here and then buy a permanent home. Our plan worked and in 2004 we moved to Kauai! However, we ended up loving our Kiahuna Plantation condo so much that we decided to keep it and it now brings us a great return on our investment as a full time vacation rental. We are truly blessed to live and work in the most ideal place in the world, the sunny South shore of Kauai!

My wife and I have just had the most wonderful and enjoyable vacation in Kauai staying at the Kiahuna Plantation on Poipu Beach. Our stay was made all the more special because of the extremely comfortable and well equipped condo we stayed in. Having first identified this condo through an internet search and then downloading the photographs we were both convinced it was the place for us. We were not dissapointed when we arrived at the condo, the photographs are only part of the story. My wife and I were both extremely impressed with the size, decor, furnishings and the overall presentation of the place. It is fitted out to a very high standard indeed and was very clean and tidy and well maintained. It is an extremely comfortable and homely condo and I would have no problem in either recommending it to friends or even staying there ourselves again. This was our first visit to Kauai and I do not believe we could have chosen a more perfect property or stunning location. There are numerous resteraunts and shops all within a short walk of the Kiahuna Plantation and there are even gas barbeques on the site. I am certain my wife and I will be returning to Kauai again in the not too distant future. Hopefully this wonderful condo will be available again.

We really enjoyed our vacation here, the location is close to the beach but set back to allow for some privacy. The unit itself is spacious, updated and well maintained. We found lots do do and see both locally and around the Island. As an additional plus, the reservation process and management of our booking was exceptionally easy, with responsive and helpful replies to our enquiries. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend, and keen to return someday soon.

After a wonderful two weeks in Lynda's condo, we can't wait to come back again! Kauai is one of our favorite vacation spots. We've stayed at the Kiahunda Plantation three times before and this year were lucky enough to get to stay in this beautiful upgraded unit. Kiahuna Plantation is beautifully landscaped and maintained with a great location on one of the best swimming and snorkeling beaches in the area. The condo has a wonderful, quiet location and is fresh, clean and beautifully decorated. It looks just like the pictures and has lots of extras that aren't even mentioned in the ad (boogie boards, coolers, extra beach chairs, area guide books, etc.) to make your day trips away from the condo even more pleasant. The condo location makes it easy to get to the ocean, the pool, the gas bbqs and to other points on the island. Lynda was delightful to deal with - our reservations were handled quickly and smoothly. We've already recommended this condo at Kiahuna Plantation to our friends, so don't hesitate - just reserve this condo and get started on a perfect vacation!

The unit was clean and in excellent condition and the beds were comfortable. The owner was very responsive to our needs during our stay. The grounds were very well maintained and attractive. We had easy acess to outside gas BBQs for grilling. We have been comming to Kiahuna Plantation for three years and each year it is like coming home. I would definately recommend this unit to family or friends.

We just had a lovely two weeks at the Kiahuna resort in Kauai. We found the condo on VRBO which we had never used before. Lynda Gill, the agent, responded immediately to our request and everything was set up before we could even blink an eye. She is prompt, efficient and very friendly as well. Everything that she told us about the Kiahuna was correct and we were not one tiny bit disappointed when we arrived to our holiday spot. We love that area as there is no big highway to contend with - just winding secondary roads which connect a number of small communities, beaches and scenic destinations for hiking or exploring. We loved poking around in Koloa and Hanapepe as the locals are friendly and willing to chat. They are not overrun with tourists so welcome the opportunity to mingle with newcomers. Its perfect. We enjoyed the local farmer's markets, the shops, the Friday night music and art evening in Hanapepe plus their Orchid Show. Exporing the east and north sides of the island were easy day trips in our rented car so we took in the hike along the Napali Coast, the gorgeous bike ride along the east coast and cruised through the back roads viewing various waterfalls and other lush locations. It was all good!! Thank you Lynda for providing us with such accurate information in regards to our condo and its very beautiful and convenient location right by a beach which had gentle enough waves most days for us to be in swimming. We had a wonderful time!
