Driving down the 2000 foot, private, wooded drive that winds through our 23 acre property you are welcomed by the reflecting pond and the home. Wanting to go inside you are drawn to the front lawn at the waters edge. Here on the front lawn at Jordan Point is a slice of heaven wrapped up in the coast of Maine with Cadillac and Sargent Mountain down the cove on the horizon. Listen, what is that, that is right you do not hear anything, except the ocean. This is why you are here.
Now it is time to go explore the home and the welcome basket waiting within. Through the entryway and into the living room the welcome basket awaits, perched on the granite fireplace beneath the beautiful wood clad cathedral ceiling. The welcome basket is made up of local candies, local made blueberry pancake mix, and a sampling from one of the local micro breweries. Time to enjoy the basket as you continue to explore the Jordan Point House. A wrap-around deck with built-in seats awaits you outside of the sunroom. The deck looks over at the 18 hole Bar Harbor Golf course, as well as the water. The golf course is a nice place to take a walk in the evening.
There is a dining room and a kitchen. There is a sunroom off of the kitchen with books on things to do in the area. The living room with a wall of windows looks out into the bay. The living room has a large granite fireplace, accented with a cathedral ceiling. There is a wonderful fireplace for those evenings when you want to take the chill off. Having twenty-three acres of piece and quiet all to yourself, being on a point, on the coast of Maine, is a vacation like no other. Acadia Acres, Jordan Point House is the vacation home for you!
