GlenLaurel is your tropical home-away-from-home. It is a three bedroom, three bath, private home on two waterfront acres on a secluded island just a seven minute ferry ride from St. Thomas. You can enjoy all that St.Thomas has to offer and still enjoy the quiet, secluded, peaceful ambiance of Water Island.
Honeymoon Beach is a pretty white sand beach and is just a short walk or golf cart drive away. The shore is lined with palm trees which offer shade from the tropical sun. Small palm umbrella huts also offer shade. The beach is surf free and deepens gradually so is perfect for small children.
You will enjoy a fully-appointed kitchen as well as a laundry room complete with a second refrigerator, washer, and dryer. There is a gas grill on the patio for quick barbecue meals as well. Relax outside and enjoy the tropical landscape and beautiful weather! GlenLaurel is surrounded by a wrap-around porch that extends the living space out to the two acre property. There are 2 golf carts available for your use during your stay at GlenLaurel.
The ocean is NEVER far away at GlenLaurel! Just walk out side or open a door or window to listen to the waves. There is even a lovely view from every room out to Limestone Bay! Water Island has a small convenience store that sells a range of supplies, drinks, and deli items. You can also enjoy casual dining at the deli.

My wife and I stayed at GlenLaurel on Water Island in late February: The tropical breezes and beautiful views could have sustained us for an additional week. The home comes nicely appointed with everything you need for a vacation (kitchen, fridges, grill, etc). Every room in the house overlooks Limestone Bay, with trade-winds and ocean waves in abundance. We fell asleep and woke up every morning to the sounds of the ocean, and enjoyed coffee and dinner on the wrap-around porch while watching cruise ships come and go. Making us feel even more relaxed, is that on Water Island you don’t see (or hear) the cruise ship passengers: We have idyllic Honeymoon Beach to ourselves, which is only a short walk (or golf cart) ride from GlenLaurel. Even when we wanted to explore the other Virgin Islands, we were only a very short ferry ride (< 15 minutes) to St. Thomas. Our day trip was quite enjoyable, knowing we’d back on secluded Water Island, in a house that made it feel like we were on a private island. We will definitely be back.

Stayed at Glen Laurel for a week in Jan 2010. The views of the cruise ships and sunrises were so beautiful! This is a perfect quiet retreat! Honeymoon beach was quiet, with calm water perfect for swiming, snorkling and relaxing!
