Enjoy this newly constructed dovetail log home during your stay in beautiful Homer. This customized home was built from spruce trees collected and milled in the Homer area. The rocks were mined in Hope, Alaska and artfully placed. This is truly an Alaskan home.
Most rooms have large picture windows where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of Kachemak Bay, the Kenai Mountains, Grewingk Glacier, and the famous Homer Spit. This 2000 square foot home has three floors including a very large loft and offers three bedrooms and three baths. Meals can be prepared in the full kitchen that is equipped with all the necessary amenities or you can eat at any of Homer's excellent restaurants.
The owners, Jerry and Lou, are world travelers and are nearby if assistance is needed during your stay. We are familiar with the Homer area and willing to help make your stay more comfortable. We are very proud of the log home since we did most of the construction. Someday we will retire in this home.

My wife and I stayed for a week at this cabin in 2010. It had some awesome scenic views, with a moose or two in the front yard in the mornings. The owners were very nice and helpful, they even let me borrow a few fishing poles. We had a blast. I am planning on sending my parents here to stay for a retirement gift.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The pictures don't do this beautiful cabin justice. We arrived to find a new, emmaculately clean log cabin, with a view that is breathtaking. The beautiful flowers in the lawn kept my friend busy with picture taking, and there was no better way to end the day of sight seeing, than to sit on the front deck with a glass of wine overlooking the Grewingk glacier. This place was very comfortable, and I would definately stay there again.
