The classic plantation-style house, vintage 1928, in the North Shore beach neighborhood of Kuau, is conveniently located one mile from Maui’s historic plantation town of Pa’ia.
Pa’ia Town, with its tropical wild-west intrigue, is bustling with a diversity of restaurants, unique boutiques, local art galleries and casual night life.
Maui’s North Shore area has many beautiful undeveloped beaches, and Ho’okipa a world-renowned beach park, is a short walk from the Kuau Inn. Kuau is a friendly beach neighborhood. Mama’s Fish House, Maui’s most outstanding contemporary Polynesian cuisine restaurant, is a stroll away. It is located in a beautiful white sand cove perfect for children to swim and snorkel.
Kuau Inn is at the foot of Haleakala Crater and at the start of the journey to Hana. Both of these exquisite drives with breathtaking sights are completely unique to Maui.
Kuau Inn is owned by community leader, Lisa Starr, whose family has been in Hawaii for over 90 years. Lisa, together with artist Shawn Naramore and electric violinist Id Thompson, work as a team to maintain and manage Kuau Inn. We hope our guests will relax and enjoy the island lifestyle the way we do. Kuau Inn has an informal and pleasantly social atmosphere.

Room Rate: $125/night/dbl, $115/sgl,3 night minimum,exceptions considered
Whole Inn Rate: $500/night, 8 guests, 5 night minimum, ($150.00 cleaning fee)
Reservations must be secured with a 50% deposit. 10% discount for over 7 days.
Full-payment must be received by 21 days before arrival.
Refunds will be paid to the extent the room(s) are re-booked.
Hawaii state tax, 12.416%, will be added.
Payment may be made with cash, check, wire transfer, Visa or Mastercard.
Self-service breakfast is included. No other fees.
