Views of Saratoga Passage from the prow-like deck will enhance your stay in our newer, warm, cozy cottage. The windows bring in plenty of light and are wrapped in pine. The bedroom has a high ceiling, a ceiling fan, and a queen-size bed. The couch is a hide-a-bed and the loft offers three more single beds. Wood floors and trim are accompanied by granite and stainless in the kitchen for a warm but modern feel.
Across the quiet street from the cottage is a path to the community beach. It is a short walk to the beach which offers 1/4 mile of beach-combing and shelling. There is also a play area for kids with a large grassy field and swings. Enjoy the view of Saratoga Passage, and the peaceful setting which often includes deer meandering through the property.
Take a short drive to the historic Coupeville waterfront or explore Fort Casey (the kids will love exploring the old concrete bunkers and looking at the big guns). The far north end of the island offers spectacular views and an amazing beach at Deception Pass; moving south you will pass through the towns of Coupeville, Freeland, Langley and Clinton. Coupeville and Langley have been the setting for a few movies and are eclectic, fun little towns. There are great events throughout the island year round.
