We had a nice Thanksgiving at Fripp Island. The house was wonderful and the weather was beautiful! It was so nice drinking my coffee in the mornings while watching the ocean. We ate Thanksgiving dinner on the screend porch. There were 5 deer standing in the front lawn one afternoon. Thank you so much. Frankie, James, and Family

As I sit here listening to the sounds of the waves lapping into the shore, I cannot think of another sound more soothing to the human soul. It is a sound we certainly did not get tired of the week we spent here "On The Fripp Side". Like all who have stayed here before us, there are many wonderful things that will make this trip memorable. Things like the beauty and the sound of the ocean; the dolphin frolicking in the sea; the shells, sea urchin, starfish and sand dollars found in abundance along the beach. We enjoyed the mockingbirds' song, the pelican flying overhead and the sandpipers running through the tidal pools. We enjoyed the local flora and fauna. the smell of the oleander, the fern on the ground, the palmetto trees and the Spanish moss. One of the surprising treasures of Fripp are the beautiful deer that roam freely about the place. We got to know a handful of them and the new fawn were playful and shy. The treasures of the island abound! What made this visit all the more memorable for us was our daughter's wedding on the beach. What perfect wedding! Blue skies, the ocean tickling their toes the family and friends that gathered, all to give their blessings on Katie and Dan's union. I just can't think of how anything could be more perfect! There were nine of us here enjoying the house and island. We were grateful for a beautiful place to help form the many memories we will always have. We hope that all who come behind us are blessed and lucky enough to have as wonderful a time as we did.

I really enjoyed staying in this house. It has a nice view and big waves by the water. We found a lot of shells down by the water and during night there were a lot of shrimp! Fripp Island is an excellent vacation spot. Nice People, fun activities, even golf!! We really want to come back soon.

Four Canadians, from the land of ice and snow, beavers, polar bears and red-coated "mounties" enjoyed one month at the beautiful site. We also appreciated what other guests have reported: the deer, the birds, the alligators, dolphin and lush growth everywhere. The ocean, in its many moods, the sunrises, and sunsets, plus the moon, made this a perfect escape from the pressures of life in Toronto. We had our family from Lancaster, PA along with other family from New York and Ohoio all here for the graduation of our new Marine from boot camp at Parris Island. Congratulations, Private Maughan!!! Mark and Berta Thanks for making our stay wonderful at Fripp Island. Even though we only stayed two days, it was still wonderful. Your house is great and very beautiful. We had a fun weekend and lots of things to do. No doubt the next family will have a wonderful time. I loved staying in the house watching movies and just "chillin." I didn't even want to leave they practically had to drag me out of the house. This was the most perfect vacation I ever had. I wish this weekend could have lasted a lifetime. I think its safe to say that all 12 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fripp Island. We found lots of shells, went boogie boarding, cooked, ate, played rummikub, and painted with watercolors. The waves are great, the sand dollars are cool and a couple of us fed the deer. I wish we had a little more sand (when you have high tide you'll know what I mean) sometimes, but overall, the ocean was great. As far as the house goes, absolutely amazing. The spiral staircase and the very top deck give you a breathtaking view (and good cell phone service!). All of us are teachers or relatives of teachers, so we were able to just talk and relax all together. Or, if you feel like being alone, there is plenty of room to get away from it all. I will miss this place when we are back in school. The beach has always been a part of my heart and soul, and it is very far away from our home sweet home. But, yes, we loved every square inch of this place. Oh yeah, the Red Piano Too Art Gallery rocks! P.S. Don't take the elvator at the Bonito Boat House. You'll get stuck.

What a great house! We've really enjoyed it. The screen was replaced Monday--an exciting day--no power from 8:30 to 11:00. Fun, fun, fun. Thank you so much for letting us and 12 other people stay on The Fripp Side. Hurricane Alberto came through and ruined your outdoor screen. I really enjoyed looking for shells on the beach. The hurricane also took off a few of the stairs leading to the beach where there was a really deep tide pool. I hope you enjoy staying here.

Enjoyed our week here. All eleven of us. We celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary. We had some good and not so good weather. Walking around was very relaxing and we loved watching the deer. Beaching was nice and we got some nice shells. This week has been a wonderful experience helping Al and Dorothy celebrate 50 YEARS OF MARRIAGE. Everyone enjoyed themselves with golfing, sunning, shopping, walking and beaching.

What an incredible find Fripp Island is--a great vacation spot for a multi-generational family from Pennsylvania, Maryland and Georgia. The house is beautiful and so comfortable--and at high tide we felt like we were in a boat house with the ocean lapping up against the dock. We all enjoyued the many wonders of the beautiful island--golfing (including a lesson for our 6 year old), swimming in the great pools, exploring Pritchards Island, cruising in the waterways with Captain Ralph, and "hunting" for sand dollars.
