Laie house description
You found it! A large 1,100 square foot, two bedroom, nicely upgraded beachside vacation rental that can sleep up to 8 guests and is fully stocked. The Beach Lane Hale (pronounced 'Ha-Lay') is a perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful beach and visit Oahu's attractions. It's located on the southern border of Laie near the North Shore so the waves don't get so big that you can't swim which sometimes happens on the North Shore.
The two bedrooms are air conditioned and have comfortable king-size beds and cable tv's. Two full size futon couches in the living room make room for four more guests or children.
The very large kitchen is a wonderful place to prepare meals or barbecue outside and enjoy the 300 square foot covered lanai and fully-fenced yard with fish pond. A dishwasher makes clean up easy.
Walk a few houses to the end of the lane and you'll find a path right to the beach (this is a legal access about 100 yards from the house). This is a pristine, uncrowded, sandy, almost a mile long stretch of beach. The beach park with restrooms and showers are close making spending hours at the beach a breeze. Nearby are shopping centers, restaurants, the LDS Temple, Polynesian Cultural Center and BYU. Kualoa Ranch, where several movies and tv shows have been filmed, including Mighty Joe Young, Jurassic Park, Wind Talkers and Lost amongst others is 15 minutes away and offers horseback riding, ATV tours and other fun. World-famous North Shore surf spots are just 20 minutes away.
Keeping in touch with others through the Free Wireless High Speed Internet Access is a must for most travelers. Covered parking and laundry is included as well.
So come, enjoy the relaxed living away from the crowds of Waikiki at the Beach Lane Hale rental like my family does.

A great stay at the Hale
A great stay at the Hale
Greg, it was nice to meet you, I could tell after having coffee with you that you are kind, professional, and trustworthy. The place was in great condition and we immediately felt at home and safe. The surrounding area was well kept and secure. It was a great place to adventure from. The nearby beach was beautiful especially at sunset. North Shore entertainment is just minutes away. Groceries are right around the corner. It would be nice to have some sharp knives; the ones that were there were very dull and I didn’t have the means to sharpen them well. It made cutting the fruit from the area very difficult. All the other appliances were great. Made good use of the gas BBQ outside on the lanai. Never used the George Forman grill. Discovered at the end that you had a charcoal grill. Had a great time here and would stay here again.

We stayed at this fabulous rental for 10 days and would have stayed 10 more if we could have. Beautiful property with everything we needed. Big kitchen for a family of eight. Enjoyed the outside covered patio in the evenings. Greg was very accommodating and helpful. Loved the location. Great North Shore rental.

We loved this rental! It was such a blast and we would love to return in the future. It was so nice to be right by the beach and have boogie boards and snorkeling stuff at the house along with plenty of towels. We also loved the outdoor shower. The house was very clean and the AC worked great!! This will be a trip we will always remember. :)

My family loved this part of our vacation! The house was clean, the kitchen was large, and it's located in a quiet neighborhood. The house is located right by the busy road, but you really couldn't hear traffic in the house. We loved the fact we could just walk down 4-5 houses and be at the beach. The beach was the best! The beach, although public, had probably 20-25 people at the most and usually a lot less than that. And this stretch of beach was close to 3/4 mile. The kids loved being able to snorkel, boogie board, and play on the beach with the equipment/toys provided at the house. We spent hours there. We enjoyed being close to the Polynesian Cultural Center. When we come back to Oahu, we will definitely be renting this house again.

My family of 3 stayed for a week at this fantastic rental. Greg was quick to respond to all my questions when booking and provided excellent, detailed instructions on how to get there from the Honolulu airport. House was exactly as advertised and we were very happy and comfortable there. Very well-stocked with everything we could need and more. We loved the location--easy drive to anywhere we wanted to go on the island. There was a flash flood warning for the area while we were there and when I emailed Greg to see if we should be concerned, he called me immediately and explained what was going on. I felt much better with the information he gave me and appreciated his taking my concerns seriously. Can't say enough good things about the entire experience and hope to return.

The condo was a perfect fit for our vacation. To be literally steps from the beach, it was relaxing and beautiful. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was huge and we saved money and time just eating in, leaving more time for site seeing and enjoying the beach. The outdoor shower was helpful in keeping sand out of the house. The backyard was fun for picnicking and sorting through our beach combing treasures. I would love to go back, the sooner the better:)

Great Privacy- large and spacious kitchen!
Great Privacy- large and spacious kitchen!
Our family, 2 adults & 4 children stayed in this house. The kitchen is huge, the washing/drying machines super helpful, 2 futon couches worked well for our 2 smaller children, fans everywhere to help keep things cool, the bathroom stocked well with beach & shower towels. The beach access is incredible!!! I liked that there is a large wooden gate that encloses the house & keeps things more private. The outside shower is helpful! Very well-taken care of rental!! Greg was very detailed in his requirements & description regarding the house. He returns emails quickly. I would recommend staying here. Thanks Greg

About the owner: I moved to Oahu at a very early age when my parents decided to move to Hawaii from the mainland. I grew up here, met my wife here and now raising my two children here. College on the mainland was ok and opened my eyes to new experiences but Hawaii was home and I moved back and eventually wanted to raise my children where I grew up here on Oahu. So let me help you enjoy your stay here. I live close by and I'm always available to offer tips on Oahu's attractions, advice and recommendations when asked.
Why the Owner Chose Laie:
I choose this location because of the proximity to a beautiful beach. It's a minute walk away, with restrooms and showers at the beach park close by.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We enjoy the beach...obviously but also enjoy the 'country' side of the island. Away from the hustle and bustle, there is a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance which is great.
