You found it! A large 1100 square foot, two bedroom, beachside vacation rental that has been recently remodeled, can sleep up to 8 guests and is fully stocked. This "Beach Lane Hale" rental (pronounced "Ha-Lay") is a perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful beach and visit Oahu's attractions. It's located on the southern borber of Laie near the North Shore so the waves don't get that big that you can't swim like sometimes happens on the North Shore when the waves are very big.
The two king bedrooms are air conditioned and have comfortable king-size beds and cable tv's. Two full size futon couches in the living room make room for four more guests or children.
The brand-new and very large kitchen is a wonderful place to prepare meals or barbecue outside and enjoy the 300 square foot covered lanai and fully-fenced yard with fish pond. A dishwasher makes clean up easy.
Walk a few houses to the end of the lane(legal beach access), about 100 yards, and you will find a pristine, uncrowded, sandy, almost a mile long stretch of beach. The beach park with restrooms and showers are close making spending hours at the beach a breeze. Nearby are shopping centers, restaurants, the LDS Temple, Polynesian Cultural Center and BYU. Kualoa Ranch, where several movies and tv shows have been filmed, including Mighty Joe Young, Jurassic Park, Wind Talkers and now Lost amongst others is 15 minutes away! World-famous North Shore surf spots are just 20 minutes away.
Keeping in touch with others through the Free Wireless High Speed Internet Access is a must for most travelers. The covered parking and laundry is included as well.

I moved to Oahu at a very early age when my parents decided to move to Hawaii from the mainland. I grew up here, met my wife here and now raising my two children here. College on the mainland was ok and opened my eyes to new experiences but Hawaii was home and I moved back and eventually wanted to raise my children where I grew up here on Oahu. So let me help you enjoy your stay here. I live close by and I'm always available to offer tips on Oahu's attractions, advice and recommendations when asked.
Why the Owner Chose Laie
I choose this location because of the proximity to a beautiful beach. It's a minute walk away, with restrooms and showers at the beach park close by.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We enjoy the beach...obviously but also enjoy the "country" side of the island. Away from the hustle and bustle, there is a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance which is great.

Me, my boyfriend and a friend had a great stay in this charming little cottage. We like this area of the North Shore since it's pretty sleepy, and the house itself is also quiet and nice. It is quite literally steps from a lovely beach. Some of my favorite things about the house: - the koi pond in the front yard - the full washer and dryer :-) - the free high-speed Internet - comfortable beds, great A/Cs to keep things cool - free beach stuff (boogie boards, snorkel gear, etc.) - a huge, huge, huge kitchen with every kind of pot, pan, kitchen tool and dishware you can imagine (& BBQ grill out on the patio)... we made dinner on two different nights and there was plenty of room for all 3 of us to work in the kitchen Even though the house is close to the main highway, it's insulated with foliage and a fence so you don't really hear anything (and the bedrooms are in the back of the house, even further away from the road). Very close to the yummy shrimp trucks, too :-)

Our family had a great time at this beach house where we could walk to a beautiful beach that our kids loved. We're from Hawaii and we felt like we found a special beach that not many locals know about. Right down the lane is a private access to a beach with two natural pools where the kids caught fish (bring your fish nets) and could climb the reef. The reef calmed most of the waves creating a calm and safe "natural pool". There were a lot of fish (bring your snorkels) and sand crabs. The location was great near grocery stores and local restaurants (Tita's Grill across from Kahuku High was our favorite!) and the garden and outdoor eating area was great for our family. I recommend staying at this beach house and hope to stay here again!

The accommodations were wonderful they were exactly as described. This place had everything that was needed for an enjoyable stay, wonderful views, clean, lots of extras (wifi, washer, dryer). The ocean is just a couple of minutes away and the rental was conveniently located by a supermarket and some good eating. I never had to worry about anything from my initial inquiry to checkout. The owner was very friendly and very timely with all my inquiries. This was a great place to stay and I will definitely stay here again.

My Brother and I were for the first time in the US and ofcourse we have chosen Hawaii as Sea Lover and Body Boarders. The Greg Rental was very well located close to North Shore and it was for us a drive away to the Sea and best world spots. Rental is good and well furnished, I would however recommend the owner to check on the AC and have something bit more modern like a split unit... anyway we didnot use them much. As well a little upgrade of surfing gears would be welcome...anyway I leave my board there so I started it! All commodities, supermarket are very close by, we really loved Hawaii and recommend to go there for great vacation and relaxed time! My brother and I recommend the local Kona Brewery delights... best ever! Merci Greg OS! Excellent time and Aloha!

Our stay at Beach Lane Hale was perfect, despite the rain and thunder storms which caused a short power outage. The house was immaculate when we arrived and we felt right at home. The kitchen is huge. Our kids enjoyed eating at the counter and watching us cook. The house had everything we needed, including beach toys for the kids. The location was great because the neighborhood is calm and quiet, just how we like it. It's a few minutes drive to the Polynesian Cultural and just a little further, Turtle Bay. The private beach yards away was nice and quiet and we pretty much had the whole beach to ourselves. The house is right next to the main highway and you can hear cars driving by but it wasn't bothersome and didn't keep us awake at night. Greg was extremely helpful and was always there to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again next time we visit Oahu.

This is a great house to stay in. It is the second time that we have stayed in one of Greg's houses. They have always been clean and well kept. The Kitchen is GREAT - - its so big! On the downside having one bathroom is a little hard with a big group. The outside shower is helpful for rinsing off the sand. Being right next to the road and hearing the traffic not so nice, but if you are from the city it is easy to ignor. The yard is so beautiful and peaceful. Close to the Polynesian Culture Center, BYU and Pounders Beach is fun for Boogie Boarding (rough water though not good for little ones). Our boys enjoyed the beach at the end of the lane too. We would recommend this house. We hope to come back again. Thanks Greg!

The location was fantastic! It was so nice and clean and well located. Our two kids loved having the games for our short indoor down time. The kitchen was lovely and we enjoyed making our own dinners and packing lunches. It saved us time and money. The beach was a short walk, but a little further away than we had been explained. Still not a big walk. Having beach towels, toys and boogie boards available was great for us. We tried things we may not have. Overall, we had the best time and cannot wait to go back! Thanks Greg
