Called the Beach Lane View Rental......It's located on the southern border of Laie, and renovated in 2005, this 650 square foot 2nd floor vacation rental has a nice view of the surrounding area from the ocean to the mountains. The air-conditioned bedroom has a queen-size bed and there is a full size futon couch/bed in the living room. A cozy kitchen means you do not have to go out for every meal. A gas barbecue grill with side burner on the oversized 375 square foot deck is another nice place to cook and eat.
This rental is just 100 yards from a mile long sandy beach (legal beach access is at the end of the lane). It is a perfect place to walk, swim, or boogie board and the beach restrooms and showers are close by. The Polynesian Cultural Center (with its luau dinners and hula shows) is just a few minutes away. The Turtle Bay Hilton is just 15 minutes north and offers a fabulous Sunday brunch and golfing. A little further up the road are the famous North Shore surfing beaches and Haleiwa Town with all it's shopping and resturants.

Once again a great stay at the Laie Beach House. The location is close to one of the best beaches on Oahu and definitely not crowded. It is also close to the Polynesian Cultural Center and the campus of Brigham Young University-Hawaii. On this trip we stayed in the upstairs one-bedroom unit. There is a very nice, large deck that has a slim view of the ocean and on the opposite side, a view of the green na pali. We found the facility very clean and comfortable - the perfect spot for some R&R. The grounds are meticulously manicured and the covered patio and BBQ downstairs are perfect for those brief, unexpected evening showers during dinner-time. The BBQ upstairs on the outdoor patio is superb anytime, weather permitting. The full-sized washer/dryer were also very handy. Thanks Greg for allowing us the opportunity to visit. We look forward to staying there on our next trip to the North Shore. Mahalo!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband & I rented this sweet beachhouse loft for our one week vacation this past April...we hate the craziness of Waikiki and we prefer to stay up closer to the north shore...The property is an upstairs loft that had everything we needed - kitchen (hotplate no stove), almost a full bath (no tub) and a super comfy queen sized bed! There are 2 sets of washer/dryers outside as well as a full supply of beach chairs, fins, and bogie boards. The pictures on line are exactly what you walk into...you are literally 100ft from a gorgeous beach that is fairly quiet during the day - you are in a residential area..it is close to grocery stores and restaurants, but we put the bbq on the upper deck to good use! The house is right next to the 2 lane highway so it can be a bit noisy at times, but well worth the stay!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

I realize Greg is not resonsible for the weather. I both loved and hated the wind which was up a lot. This is a great location for visiting the north part of Oahu. We explored and hiked almost every day. Getting home by dark. It ws tricky to see where to turn at night. Cars do wizz by farely rapidly. Greg was quick to respond to any questions and anticipated what we would need ahead of time. Listened to Hawaiian music on Chanel 56. Listened to the mysterious sounds coming from the front room window. Stay here. Lucille SerwaRecommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+.

We stayed for a week and had a great time. The apt. is as described and in a great location for the North Shore activities. The beach close by is beautiful with very few people. A great place to hang out! The North Shore Fish Tacos (next to Tamara grocery) are terrific! The apt. was very clean and had everything we needed. The only downside was the closeness to the road and thus lots of road noise. We didn't use the AC and so had the windows open thus more noise. The TV reception and channel options were weak. We would recommend this apt. as the price is very reasonable and location is great!Recommended for: Sightseeing.

Our stay at Beach Lane View was excellent. The rental had all the amenities that we needed and was very comfortable. The location was perfect for all our Hawaii adventures. The beach next to the rental was very fun but warning to those who go in May we found many Portuguese Man of War scattered all over the beach and two of us were stung. Other than that our stay at the Beach Lane View was exceptional. Thanks Greg!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

great place, the unit is on the second level of a beautiful property.. I was surprised on how well this unit was stocked, it had EVERYTHING you could ever need.. We spent most of our time on the north shore so this location was excellent, much better than your typical golf course condos found in north shore.. If you're looking for private, cozy , and a well-thought unit BOOK THIS PLACE!!..Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We found the location marvelous for us -- easy access to a beautiful beach, close enough to other excursions and amenities. The place itself was clean and comfortable. We had a problem with the toilet early on but Greg was very responsive and it was fixed as quickly as possible. He has a nice balance of being helpful and available but not intrusive. We appreciated all the chairs, coolers, etc. We cooked almost all our meals in. Had to be a little creative without a stove or oven, but the portable stove top worked pretty well for our 10 days. Downside? THE TRAFFIC NOISE. Main recommendation: go to the beach for sunrises every day.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children.

I want to say that my girlfriend and I stayed here for 10 days in February 2012 and enjoyed it very much. The place was as nice or nicer than it was represented in the ad and was impeccably clean upon arrival. Greg the owner was very accomodating in all aspects and was very helpful in answering any questions we may have had. The home is VERY well equipped and comfortable. The beach is just a short walk away and is in our opinion one of the nicest beaches of all in the laie area. We would recommend to anyoone that this is a good place to stay and would not hesitate to stay here again should we have the opportunity. mahalo Greg. Hope to see you again....phil and suzanneRecommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

This is the second time we have stayed at he Beach Lane View. The first time was four years ago on our honeymoon. We love this place! It is great to be on the quiet side of the island and so near the PCC and the Mormon temple. The apartment is so well maintained and is just as pictured on the web site. We found a great little cafe, the Hukilau Cafe. Go north, on the highway, of the Foodland and turn on about the fourth street on the left. There is a bus stop very near, for those who don't have a car. We were disappointed that Papa Ole's was closed for the Christmas break, since that is our favorite place to eat in Laie (actually Hauula).Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2003
About the owner: Aloha, I'm a husband, father, jack of all trades, coach of all sports and owner/manager of 5 vacation rentals in Hawaii. I was raised in Hawaii from the age of 8 years old after my family moved here from the USA mainland. Hawaii has so much to offer and I hope you get the chance to visit and explore this amazing state.
Why the Owner Chose Laie:
We love this beach property. It's so close to the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. The small town feeling and tight community on this beach lane is familiar since I grew up in a small town, on a cul-d-sac on Oahu.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The beach is great. Never really rough, even in the winter when the North Shore surf spots are reaching 25 feet. A perfect beach for swimming and boogie boarding. The deck of the Beach Lane View rental is my favorite. Up high with a partial water view and those grand Koolau mountains on the other side. We love to cook and eat outside on the deck and relax.
