Aloha! And welcome to Mauibabbe's Ohana HideAway. Ohana means "Family" in Hawaiian. Our condo is very large (980+ SQ.') with two newly tiled lanais for viewing the Garden, Volcano and Peek a Boo Ocean views. Located away from traffic, but very close to the beach, it is a relaxing and quiet place for your vacation. Our condo overlooks a wildlife santuary, with beautiful birds, geckos and huge toads. Awake every morning with the birds singing to you.
The condo is decorated with a Maui tropical look using rattan furnishings and lots of color. Both bedrooms are spacious, the Master Suite with a private bath and Lanai, is very soothing and with a King sized bed with pillow top mattress that will let you rest well after a long day at the beach. We have twin beds in the 2nd bedroom and a Queen sized sleeper sofa in the livingroom that is very comfortable. We have plenty of room to sleep up to 6 guests. There are TV's in each bedroom and a 32" Flatscreen in the livingroom too !!!
We have up-graded our condo to offer easy care ceramic tile flooring with designer granite countertops on the vanities and in the kitchen. The kitchen is large enough for 2 cooks working without bumping into each other! We have included many appliances not usually found in a condo. Our place has all the comforts of home.
DSL HIGH SPEED INTERNET is included in your vacation condo. Cable TV,(3) with FREE HBO will keep the entire family entertained.
We are located directly across the street from the best beach in Maui, Kama'ole II. It's only a 3 minute walk to the beach. A lifeguarded Sandy Beach, great to swim, snorkel or fish. You will find a lot of tide pools to explore too when the tide is low. The beach is very safe for children.
There are 2 pools and 2 spas at the Maui Banyan Resort. Gas Barbeques are located at each pool area which has a shady picnie area. Great place to cook dinner for the whole family. Tennis courts are on-site, bring your rackets. Famous golf courses are nearby don't forget your clubs.
The building is very safe for your family. We have 24/7 security on site. There is an elevator in our building, our condominium is on the 2nd level. FREE Parking for our guests is located in a covered garage, keeping the car out of the sun, and the occasional rain.
Shopping and restaurants are located within walking distance. The resort desk offers lots of brochures and a travel assistant who will help you plan some trips around Maui. Maui has the longest Zip-Line in the entire state and the third longest in the world. Go kite surfing, visit or bike down Haleakala our famous 13,000' volcano. Take the family to Ma'alaea to the Maui Ocean Center for a day trip. The under water critters at the Maui Ocean Center have been caught in the waters off Maui. There is an 54' clear-acrylic tunnel for a real underwater experience. Visit the famous Iao Valley and take a picnic lunch to the beautiful Japanese gardens. Take a day trip to Hana and swim in the sacred pools and under the waterfalls. Take a ride up to the Tedeschi Winery and do some serious wine sampling. It's all wonderful on Maui. Maui no ka'oi! Our family of 4 (kids ages 2 & 4) just returned from 10 days at this fantastic condo. I knew it was going to be great from all of the comments I read, and it was even better than I imagined. I couldn't believe how clean it was. The upgraded kitchen, marble bathrooms, and tile floor throughout made that difference. This condo is very spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was a drying rack, boogie boards, beach towels, large cooler, small cooler, ice packs, beach mats, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrella stroller etc!! I spoke to many others around the pool who didn't have any of those items. The beach is conveniently across the street and there is shave ice, ice cream, shops and restaurants a quick walk away. It is obvious the owners take pride in this condo and therefore so do the people who stay in it. I recommend this condo to everyone and will stay here again for sure.

Again, we returned to Mauibabbe's Ohana Hideaway recently and again we were extremely pleased. Noticed the continuing upgrading and improvements to the showers. They certainly maintain their unit to a very high standard. Only wish we could have stayed much longer but our schedule wouldn't permit it. Nice quiet location with covered parking and within easy walking distance to a great beach and nearby shopping. Morning sunshine on the lanai is the perfect start to every day. This year, they have arranged to have unlimited free phone calling to anywhere in Canada and the USA which was a BIG bonus. Love the personal touch of Valerie checking in with us after a day or two of arrival to ensure everything is as expected. Gotta love her...! The unit is very clean and comfortable and would recommend it to anyone staying in Kihei .....you will not be disappointed. And again, we'll be back.!

Maui Banyan is very well situated in the heart of Kihei. Everything you need is conveniently close to it. The unit itself is well-equipped, it even has a rice cooker and a pressure cooker for people who love to cook and save a few dollars. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back. Myself and 3 friends came from opposite ends of Canada to enjoy a vacation on Maui. We stayed at this condo and were very satisfied with the accommodations. It is spacious, clean and well - equipped. The condo is located at (in my opinion) the nicer end of Kihei close to Wailea. It is convenient to many ammenities and across the road from a very nice beach. I discovered, unfortunately on my last morning there, that the reef at the left end of this beach is vast and deep and full of marine life. I would have snorkelled there every day had I known how beautiful it was. We enjoyed most of our dinners out on the lanai where it was peaceful and private. The tennis court and pools were never crowded and the property is very clean and well - managed. Valerie was very friendly and helpful and Bill sounded like a nice guy too. I would stay here again.

We recently visited this condo and had a wonderful vacation. The unit is exactly as pictured, and is amply stocked with everything you need. The owners are thoughtful, attentive and very considerate of their guests. They even called upon our check-in just to make sure everything was okay. Pools are great, beach access is literally a three minute walk. The BBQ's at the pools were brand-new and high quality. Overall, a great location, great condo we would highly recommend and are considering when our next trip can be!!

I have visited Maui on many occasions and this was by far the best trip. Much of it can be attributed to our housing at the Maui Banyan Condo. The large bedrooms, laundry facilities and dish washer allowed us to experience the same comforts of home. The showers were roomy and had great water pressure. The two pools and multiple grills on the grounds and the 3 min walk to the beach were exactly as advertised. The breeze though the large sliding doors to the decks were enough to keep us comfortable but it was great to know there were multiple AC units if needed after a long day at the beach. The condo grounds are meticulously manicured and surrounded by an array of wildlife. There was also a first class tennis court with available rackets and balls for free at the front desk. We would recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a wonderful and convenient place to stay on their next trip to Maui. I should also note that the owners called us upon our arrival to ensure everything was meeting our needs which was much appreciated.

We just came back from 3 weeks in Mauibabbe's condo and would highly recommend it. It was beautifully clean and maintained,with a full set of appliances and everything you need to do your own cooking. The view from the lanais was so pretty with palm trees blowing in the breeze and many different coloured bouganvillea bushes. We always enjoyed our breakfasts on the big lanai watching birds, geckos and even a mongoose. The walk to the beach is a short 5 minutes. There are several restaurants and stores within walking distance. We truly loved it!

Had the pleasure of returning to Bill & Valerie's unit in November 2010 and again was pleasantly surprised with the recent upgrades of a new shower stall replacing the tub and the backsplash above the kitchen counter. Also noticed a new water heater and tile on the lanai. Very clean unit and certainly well maintained & stocked with every ammenity including high-speed wireless internet which not many places offer. This was not our first time in their unit and will certainly not be our last. We love the location and the peacefulness it has to offer. Located across the street from a beautiful clean beach and nearby shopping in South Kihei. It is hard to find owners that care about the well-being of their guests and continually maintain and upgrade the unit. Will definetely be going back again...! Thanks for making another great stay in your unit so enjoyable. We'll be back....!!!
