This is our family summer vacation home that is available for a winter seasonal rental. The entire home has been custom designed and immaculately maintained.
The downstairs is decorated with an open and airy beach home feel. It is newly renovated with a modern kitchen including stainless steel appliances, induction stove top, convection oven, butcher block kitchen island, and plenty of cabinet and pantry space. The open floor plan allows the kitchen to flow into the dining area and living room, all of which are newly updated. A half bathroom and laundry room are also downstairs and newly renovated.
The back patio includes a gas grill, smoker, and dining for 6 and is shaded by a gorgeous oak tree all day long for comfortable dining and leisure. The plush natural area provides a great relaxing and serene outdoor feel.
Upstairs are two large bedrooms with queen size beds and seating areas, decorated to feel like a quaint cottage or bed and breakfast. Each bedroom comes with a full en suite bathroom and deep soak tub. Both bathrooms are completely renovated and updated. The master bathroom is equipped with a jetted whirlpool tub and rain shower that is sure to wash away the day's stresses.
A stone's throw away is the community's only heated swimming pool - perfect for the Floridian winters. Yes! We do swim in the winter! Walk to the beach, tennis courts, racquetball courts, or clubhouse and fitness center in only a few minutes. Whether you stay indoors or outdoors, you are sure to enjoy yourself at this home.

About the owner: Our family uses this home as our personal vacation home in the summer time. We are from Central Florida and have family in the Central Florida area, so we are very familiar with the area. We have other hobbies that keep us away in the winter time, so we have chosen to rent the place out for seasonal renters to enjoy.
Why the Owner Chose Cape Canaveral: We chose Cape Canaveral because of its location to our family and to all the Orlando/Central Florida attractions. It has been a great central location for our family to visit for a lazy beach vacation or for trips to the theme parks. With only a 40 minute drive to the airport and 45-60 minute drive to the theme parks, it beats any other beach location in FL.
After visiting over 20 other communities in Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach, Villages of Seaport was the only neighborhood that we wanted to settle for. The upkeep was impeccable, the grounds were immaculate, the amenities were outstanding and the people were so friendly. Not to mention, the security of being in a gated community with a night-time guard. The community and lifestyle reminded me of a high-end resort in the Caribbean.
We were very fortunate to find the home we did in such a great and well maintained neighborhood. The unit has a great natural area in the back that includes a couple of beautiful oak trees that shade the back patio all day long all year long, and are perfect for kids to climb. We also liked the landscaping in the front of the unit that was a bit deeper and more plush than most of the other units in the neighborhood. The vicinity to the family/heated pool and the lap pool were also major contributors to our decision on this one unit.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome: When we first looked at this unit, we loved the outdoor benefits listed above, but we were not sold on the floor plan. So we decided to completely gut and redesign the downstairs floor plan to expand the kitchen and open up the living space, not only indoors, but to bring the outdoors in and indoors out. After all, you come to the beach to enjoy the outdoors, right?
The outdoor patio has become an extension of the living space downstairs, giving the unit an open and airy feel, rather than the boxed-in and compartmentalized of the original plan.
The bedrooms upstairs are very large and we loved that they each had a private bathroom. Of course, the bathrooms were outdated, so we gave them a modern upgrade. Then we decorated everything to make the home feel exactly how we wanted to feel when we were away from our normal hectic life - cozy and relaxed, like a cottage escape from the big city.
