Open concept 2,350 sq ft main level: Kitchen and dining room are in an open concept with a family room and living room along with 2 bath rooms/3 bedrooms which sleep 6 and is ideal for large family gathering including persons with limited mobility. There are hardwood floors and carpet throughout the main level.
• Kitchen large enough for multiple cooks including professional appliances such as 6-burner Viking cook top, double wall convection ovens and a Bosch dishwasher.
• Family room (with a 42-inch cable HDTV/DVD player) and adjacent living room -- both rooms with walls of windows and mountain views.
• The dining room next to the kitchen has a beautiful dining room table with seating for 8.
• The master bedroom has a luxury king size bed and sitting area/dressing room with a 4-piece bath including a jetted tub with marble shower/sinks.
• The other 2 large bedrooms on the main level have luxury queen size beds and share a large main bathroom.
• Master bedroom and adjacent bedroom afford a view of Cheyenne Mountain and Will Rodger's Shrine.
• An exterior porch/large entertainment deck off the kitchen and family room leads to the flat rear yard perfect for enjoying beautiful sunny Colorado days and evenings with views of the Rocky Mountains.
2,250 sq ft lower level area: (This level can be totally separate from the rest of the house)
• Recreation room with wet bar area, microwave, fridge and extra dining table/chairs for lower level privacy. The rec room also includes a ping pong table/air-hockey table/exercise equipment.
• Second large family room has a 32-inch TV with cable/DVD player, Books/movies and a Wii game console with video games and a second moss rock fireplace.
• Large laundry room and full bathroom
• 2 large bedrooms with two queen beds, one full bed, one twin bed which sleeps 7. Both bedrooms have partial Cheyenne Mountain views.

Year Purchased: 2005

About the owner: My wife and I grew up in Ireland. We have two sons, eldest son is a sophomore at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH and his brother is in the 10th grade at a local charter high school. We are used to having guests in our home as we have had summer vacation rental guests in our second home in Ogunquit so Maine coast for past 18 years.

Why the Owner Chose Colorado Springs:
We love the Colorado Spring area in general and we bought this home as it in a nice/safe exclusive neighborhood with its own private security/police service. Coming from New England we really liked this property with its many mature pine trees, which attract many friendly deer during the morning hours. We did major renovations to the house on the main and lower levels 6 years ago to suit our tastes and make it more of an open floor-plan.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love relaxing in our home during the weekend, as it is very quiet and peaceful with views of Cheyenne Mountain and the Front Range.
