You can't beat this beautiful three bedroom, two bath, remodeled home for your ultimate boating vacation. Discovery Bay Real Estate is about Location (close to fast water), Location (exposure to the sun)...and this spot can not be beat. Located in prestigious Indian Bay, you are only 3 MINUTES from fast water in the main channel, there is no easier access to getting out and enjoying the water sports that the Delta is famous for. This beautiful home also affords the luxury of the desired eastern exposure, which provides much needed shade on your deck from the late afternoon and early evening sun.
The dock is in the corner of a secluded private bay (think cul-de-sac...no boat traffic) which is great for swimming, or just floating on a raft. There is also great fishing right off the dock. My kids call it "Sure-catch" as you can't help but catch Catfish, Bluegill and an occasional Bass by just putting a worm on your hook and dropping it in.
The private over sized U shape dock has room for 2 boats, including an available HydroHoist (4500 lbs maximum). You will enjoy the over 1200 square foot composite deck (no splinters), complete with furniture and lounge chairs, for sunning during the day, or eating and relaxing at night.
Once inside, you will find a beautifully kept, fully remodeled home. This home features an open Great Room with a marble counter top that surrounds the kitchen and seats 8...perfect for entertaining or a family get together. White wash hardwood floors and cabinets give the living area an elegant touch. You will find a fully stocked kitchen with utensils, pots, pans, plates and glassware. All you need to bring is the food. You will also find a new Weber Gas Grill for those family BBQ's. The Great room also has a full size Championship Pool Table, with great water views.
The master bedroom has a new pillow top queen bed, with top of the line linens, and an attached master bath. You also have a sliding glass door that opens to the deck and offers great waterfront views. The second bedroom also has a new pillow top queen size bed and top of the line linens. The "Bunk room" includes two identical bunk beds with Full size mattresses on the bottom and Twins on top, which can sleep 4 - 6. There is also a brand new pull out single bed in the living room. All bedding, linens, and bath towels are included, as well as basic household items to get you started.
You can't spend all of your time on the water, so you can relax in front of the 46" television with Cable, DVD and an ITunes connector (our favorite way to watch movies). The Stereo system has both indoor and outdoor speakers, with a 5 disc CD changer...geat for putting on your favorite music and relaxing on the deck. If you have to actually get some work done there is high speed Wireless internet access.
Launch ramps are available at the Discovery Bay Yacht Harbor (more expensive but closer) or Orwood Resort (which has great breakfast). Eight minutes away is a full service shopping center that includes Safeway, Longs Drugs, McDonalds, Starbucks and a Wells Fargo ATM. There is also a Gas Station/Mini Mart just down the street.
We use this home ourselves for our own family enjoyment, so we have tried to ensure that nothing has been overlooked for comfort and luxury.
