Welcome to our luxurious Maalaea, Ocean & Beachfront 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Condo. This lovely unit is situated on famous “Sugar Beach”, a beautiful and quiet white sands beach that stretches for miles—all the way to Kihei. From the lanai, enjoy the sound of the surf, as well as 180-degree spectacular, breathtaking views of Maui’s south coast. You can also enjoy views from the kitchen and second bedroom of the mountains and sugarcane fields. In the morning, watch the sunrise dancing off the peak on Haleakala, one of Hawaii's oldest volcanoes. Each winter you can witness the seasonal migration patterns of the humpback whales from the lanai.
This relaxing, air-conditioned unit also has cooling ceiling fans throughout. There is Wireless Internet, Cable TV’s, a DVD/VCR player, a stereo system, and a phone with free local calls. The condo is fully stocked with linens and towels, including Beach towels. There is a convenient hide-a-bed in the living room. Free parking is provided, just steps away.
You will like the spacious, fully furnished bedrooms, each with a comfy Queen Size bed and their own bathrooms. Enjoy an absolutely stunning view of the endless sparkling ocean from the master bedroom. Both bathrooms have beautiful décor. The master bath has a tiled shower/tub and the second bathroom has a tiled step in shower.
Enjoy the updated, full size kitchen. It is complete with all appliances, including a microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer, all cookware and all the utensils needed to cook a wonderful meal. It is only a ten-minute drive to a large grocery store in nearby Kihei. If you want to dine out, there are several excellent restaurants with both ocean and harbor views that are located within a few minutes walk, just down the street.
Our building is located on a tranquil and peaceful dead end street. Swaying palms, lush tropical gardens, BBQ’s and a pool complement the grounds. When it’s time to cool off, enjoy your favorite drink by the pool or take a snorkeling adventure with sea turtles in the warm waters in front of this lovely vacation property.
The condo is only a 12-minute drive from the airport. Best of all, Maalaea is centrally located between the towns of Lahaina and Wailea, and is only 20-30 minutes away from Makena, Kapalua, and Kaanapali. This affords you the endless recreation Hawaii is legendary for, but with the quiet serenity only the small village of Maalaea can bring you. It is no wonder why many consider Maalaea, Hawaii's "Best Kept Secret."

Right up the street from the condo is Maalaea village. The village includes the popular Maalaea Harbor. At the harbor you can take a snorkeling, sunset or dinner cruse. Next to the Harbor is the renowned Maui Ocean Center, Maui's #1 tourist attraction. It is a top rated aquarium that everyone will enjoy. Next to the aquarium are the charming Harbor Shops, shopping center. It features some wonderful stores, a very good ice cream parlor, and several 5 star restaurants. The highly rated Waterfront Restaurant is located on the water, on the bottom level of the Milowai. Beach Bums and Buzz's Wharf are right there at the harbor with ocean views. At the entrance to Maalaea are a water sports park and two miniature golf courses that the entire family will enjoy.

I love Maui and enjoyed staying at this condo in Maalaea! It is beautifully decorated with lots of island knickknacks and pictures. The condo had plenty of room for family or friends with two bedrooms to spread out in. You'll find the view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, particularly when the sun is going down.
Maalea is a little town situated around the harbor of Maalaea where you can catch any number of sea excursions – snorkeling, fishing, whale watching, dinner cruises or pretty much anything to do with the sea. There’s also an aquarium to visit and several restaurants and bars, all within walking distance. Even better, the condo is located at the end of Sugar Beach, which stretches for miles between Maalaea and Kekei. If you can’t find solitude on that beach you didn’t look very hard because much of it is unvisited. I took a long walk along the beach and once I got past a couple of hotels and condo complexes I had the beach almost completely to myself. The area is quiet and peaceful, a great place to get away and unwind. But it’s also centrally located so it’s very close to all of the attractions you’d want to see on Maui. We drove up the volcano and along the Road to Hana and also to a walk to the harbor for a snorkeling trip to Molokini - a small crater and marine reserve just off the coast. One night we walked just a few doors down and ate at the highly rated Waterfront Restaurant. It was all so close!
The owner was gracious and helpful, providing links and phone numbers for local restaurants and tours after asking me what I might like to do and even suggested a couple I hadn’t thought of. I had a fabulous time in Maui, especially in this wonderful ocean front condo!

Why the Owner Chose Maalaea
I love it because it is close to everything but it is no way over crowded. I can walk on the beach and not step over hundreds of people. Sometimes I can even have it all to myself. You are only 10 - 15 minutes from most places and things. ( airport, Kihei, Wailea, Lahina, Kanaapali, surfing, boating, fishing, golfing, hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, zip lining, ATV's, horseback riding.) You name it its close!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
You can walk to the harbor for boat trip ( sunset cruises, fishing trips, scuba diving, snorkeling and whale watching ) Miniature golfing, bumper boats and rock climbing are right next to the Ocean Aquarium which is fantastic. Thre are also several nice restaurants and shopping right there along with a small grocery store.

I have been a Police Officer for over 25yrs. I find this my break from the hectic work I do. I come here to relax and forget. I can do nothing or partake many of the near by activities.

This condo is centrally located on Maui. Perfect to explore the island! The area where the condo is, is nice and quiet. The view from the lanai is outstanding, especially during whale season. Booking a whale watch, fishing, sunset cruise or many other activiities, is a nice 15 minute walk or very short drive away at Maalaea Harbor. The descriiption of the condo is accurate and working directly with the owner Mary, is a real pleasure. She is always available to answer any questions you might have. A 4 mile long beach starts right next door. This beach goes all the way to Kihei and is never crowded. The kitchen is very well stocked and we ate all our meals on the lanai. Eating out on Maui can get very pricey and having the full kitchen is great. Also, having the washer and dryer in the condo, is really handy, you don't have to take as many clothes. Whether you are here for a short stay or longer stay, this condo is just like home, but probably with a much better view. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Aloha, Just want to say our condo was very comfortable. Mary replyed to ALL of our e-mails very quickly. She has the place furnished with eveything you can think of. Loved the way it's decorated all the way down to the dolfin plates. Enough plates and silverware to wait for a full load to run the dishwasher. I was surprised to find there was even dish soap. Two seperate bathrooms made it REAL nice. Didn't have to share the bathroom with my daughters shampoos,,lol. There are ceiling fans in every room and two in the livingroom.Never ran the airconditioner. There was plenty of room for all four of us. We didnt get in each others way even after a week. lol. The ocean sang us to sleep everynight. The boogie boards that were in the closet came in handy also. The location is perfect right in the middle of eveything, yet remote.Walked to the harbor and went Whale watching. The whales got so close we had to shut down the engines on the boat so we woudnt harm them with the prop. I recommend "Boss Frogs" for all your activities.We look foreward to staying here again. While staying at the condo I was able to enjoy the beachfront pool and the beach itself. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the condo itself is in a great location. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was spacey enough to make a big meal. Overall it was very clean and there is also a new refrigerator. While I was there we mainly made dinner but we also went to a near by Mexican restaurant and the city of Lahaina for dinner. The customer service was very prompt and reliable. I would definitely recommend this location to a friend or to family. I am excited to go back as soon as possible!

Kanai A Nalu was great!! Thanks Mary for making the stay easy and comfortable. Our family had such a great time playing in the heated pool, boogie boarding on the sandy beach that is easily accessible from the condo and soaking up the view. The complex is so well maintained, clean and quiet. Loved waking up to sounds of the surf, walking barefoot out the condo and being on the great Sugar Beach within 1 min. You'd pay up to 3 times as much for the same view and access on other areas of the island. The location was central and within easy driving distance to other parts of the island. The unit is clean and had everything we needed. Thanks again---we'd love to come back! The Torian family

I spent 2 weeks here in Jan. 2010 with my brother. We were totally relaxed and at home immediately. The description is right on, and the location is really great, centrally located on Maui. The condo and property were very clean and well maintained. Lots of plants, tall beautiful palms and georgous flowers make the surroundings very tropical and serene. I really enjoyed working the Mary, the owner, she answered all my questions prompty and was a pleasure to work with. There are no surprises here, other than it is nicer than the photos. We cooked most all of our meals here and enjoyed eating them on the lanai, where we started and ended our day. We were here during whale season, and saw so many whales, just from our lanai and the beach. The whales come into this bay to give birth and the activity is outstanding. You did not need binoculars to see them. It was great being so close to Maalaea Harbor, we could walk down there to book our whale watch, and they have many other trips to sign up for there. Also, nice shopping and restaurants, and just a neat place to walk around and look at the boats. The beach here is great, it goes on for about 4 miles towards Kihei, and is mostly empty. Its wonderful for walking and laying in the sun. I also enjoyed being able to see Haleakala, Molokini and Kahoolowe from the property and beach. This is such a great place to stay, I recommend it.

I have been to Maui many times and truly enjoyed my stay at this condo..I love its central location, smack dap in the middle of the beautiful harbor only minutes away from the most popular places on the island, but out of the way enough to have some quiet time......the pool is great...love the bbq, especially after visiting the local markets for the food!! This place has it all..it is stocked up with everything you need! Thanks for the fantastic time! I will definitly be back soon!!!

Beautiful. I have been coming to Maui for 10 years but have never enjoyed my stay,been more relaxed or felt like home like my trip to your stay. It was nicely decorated, comfortable and the view OMG ( it was awesome ). I got a chance to look at your second unit and it was very nice also. I am truely looking forward to my next visit.

I have stand in both of your units now and totally love both. The area is very nice. Away from the busy tourist traffic when you get home so you can relax in peace but just minutes from it when you want to play. The units are beautiful,well decorated and confortable. I cant wait to get back.
