I love Maui and enjoyed staying at this condo in Maalaea! It is beautifully decorated with lots of island knickknacks and pictures. The condo had plenty of room for family or friends with two bedrooms to spread out in. You'll find the view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, particularly when the sun is going down.

Maalea is a little town situated around the harbor of Maalaea where you can catch any number of sea excursions – snorkeling, fishing, whale watching, dinner cruises or pretty much anything to do with the sea. There’s also an aquarium to visit and several restaurants and bars, all within walking distance. Even better, the condo is located at the end of Sugar Beach, which stretches for miles between Maalaea and Kekei. If you can’t find solitude on that beach you didn’t look very hard because much of it is unvisited. I took a long walk along the beach and once I got past a couple of hotels and condo complexes I had the beach almost completely to myself. The area is quiet and peaceful, a great place to get away and unwind. But it’s also centrally located so it’s very close to all of the attractions you’d want to see on Maui. We drove up the volcano and along the Road to Hana and also to a walk to the harbor for a snorkeling trip to Molokini - a small crater and marine reserve just off the coast. One night we walked just a few doors down and ate at the highly rated Waterfront Restaurant. It was all so close!

The owner was gracious and helpful, providing links and phone numbers for local restaurants and tours after asking me what I might like to do and even suggested a couple I hadn’t thought of. I had a fabulous time in Maui, especially in this wonderful ocean front condo!

  I have been to both of your units over the past 5 years. They are very nice. It makes you feel your are in paradise. The units are decorated in tropical decor. The views are breathtaking. During whale season you can whale watch off you own private lanai! You are centrally located yet very private while you are there. You dont have to compete for beach, lawn or pool space. It is very relaxing. A home away from home with out the work. Everything thing except your clothing is there for you. I cant wait unitl I go back. I love it.

  We completely enjoyed our recent stay at Ma’alaea Kai Condominium. The view was simply breathtaking and the complex was quiet and conveniently located. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for the week. We were within walking distance to the harbor, where we took a snorkel trip to Molokini and a fishing trip. We also enjoyed the proximity of the beach just a 5 minute walk away. The condo had beach chairs, a cooler and everything we needed for our excursions to the beach. We have stayed at other condos in the islands but found this to have the best view and most relaxing atmosphere of all. Thank you Mary, for sharing your bit of paradise with us. Loved that the unit is centrally located for our various day trips around the island. Walking distance to harbor, aquarium, miniature golf, and a few restaurants, yet still the feel of paradise. Beaches and grounds are not too overcrowded. Looking forward to booking our next stay.

  If you're looking for an owner who's quick to reply to your inquiry, send additional photos, answer your questions, or address your rental needs then you need look no further. Mary is all that and more. She was the only owner willing to work with our budget and adjust her rental rate for our extended stay. If we ever get the chance to return to Maui we'll be sure to stay here! Thanks again Mary for your kindness!!

  This condo is centrally located on Maui. Perfect to explore the island! The area where the condo is, is nice and quiet. The view from the lanai is outstanding, especially during whale season. Booking a whale watch, fishing, sunset cruise or many other activiities, is a nice 15 minute walk or very short drive away at Maalaea Harbor. The descriiption of the condo is accurate and working directly with the owner Mary, is a real pleasure. She is always available to answer any questions you might have. A 4 mile long beach starts right next door. This beach goes all the way to Kihei and is never crowded. The kitchen is very well stocked and we ate all our meals on the lanai. Eating out on Maui can get very pricey and having the full kitchen is great. Also, having the washer and dryer in the condo, is really handy, you don't have to take as many clothes. Whether you are here for a short stay or longer stay, this condo is just like home, but probably with a much better view. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.

  Aloha, Just want to say our condo was very comfortable. Mary replyed to ALL of our e-mails very quickly. She has the place furnished with eveything you can think of. Loved the way it's decorated all the way down to the dolfin plates. Enough plates and silverware to wait for a full load to run the dishwasher. I was surprised to find there was even dish soap. Two seperate bathrooms made it REAL nice. Didn't have to share the bathroom with my daughters shampoos,,lol. There are ceiling fans in every room and two in the livingroom.Never ran the airconditioner. There was plenty of room for all four of us. We didnt get in each others way even after a week. lol. The ocean sang us to sleep everynight. The boogie boards that were in the closet came in handy also. The location is perfect right in the middle of eveything, yet remote.Walked to the harbor and went Whale watching. The whales got so close we had to shut down the engines on the boat so we woudnt harm them with the prop. I recommend "Boss Frogs" for all your activities.We look foreward to staying here again.   This was one of the most beautiful and relaxing locations I have ever been to. It was so close to anything I wanted to go see but yet quite and peaceful when I got back to this beautiful ocean view condo. The condo had everything we needed. Loved it cant wait to come back. You were great in helping us set up everything we needed and was so responsive to our question and needs. Thank you so much for sharing your home away from home. I dont know how you ever leave.
