Great family vacation cottage located at Crystal Lake, a 725 acre all-sports lake with excellent fishing, swimming and boating, thirty minutes east of Greenville, Michigan.
Our cottage is located one block from the lake on a large shaded lot in a quiet area. Cottage guests enjoy their own private dock on the lake just a short walk from the cottage. For boating and fishing, a pontoon boat is available for our guests to rent for an additional fee. Inquire about rates and availability. We also offer mens and womens 21 speed bikes for rent, as well as a classic two seater Schwinn 5-speed tandem.
A shallow sandy bottom at the shore makes for great swimming for the kids. Movie theatre, restaurants and ice cream parlor are all within easy walking distance or a short drive if you prefer.
The smoke-free cottage has an enclosed sunroom and a deck for your enjoyment. This is a great place to kick back and relax!

This cute little cottage - a block from the lake had everything we could want & then some! We were looking for a cottage to rent on a lake in Michigan - near where we "used to live" so we could visit old friends & family (and have a comfortable home base) - just before my son deployed for Afghanistan. It was a little chilly - early in the season - but the owners had heaters - plenty of blankets - and a generous amount of firewood for us! With 2 bedrooms & the sunporch - the accomadations were roomy for: Granny, Son, Daughter-in-Law, and grandson! We had plenty of room to entertain dinner guests & they have a nice firering (for roasting up those "S'mores!). Walking distance to the beach & playround (then too several nice resturants - AND an Ice Cream stand) were additional - plus's to this rental. We had great times on the pontoon - plus cuaght a few fish! Our stay was all too short & we'd love to come back again!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great time at the Red Cottage! Lots of room for gathering on the deck outside when weather permits or inside in the enclosed sunroom with huge windows with screens to keep the bugs out. Beds were very comfortable and lots of them... ny husband and I took the sunroom's twin trundle beds and loved the fresh air coming in through the screens at night. Ceiling fans helped move the air, but if it had been hot enough every room has its own A/C. Lots of towels, supplies, and dishes, the owners thought of everything! Thanks for a great Memorial Day weekend! We will be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
