Hop the monorail from downtown Seattle to arrive at the Seattle Center. Originally built for the 1962 World's Fair, the 74-acre Seattle Center is a park, arts, and entertainment center. Its lankmark feature is the 605-foot tall Space Needle, a now-iconic building that was, at its completion, the tallest building west of the Mississippi River. Seattle Center is home to award-winning theatre companies, professional sports teams, museums, internationally acclaimed ballet and opera, a nationally recognized children's theatre and hands-on children's museum and exciting scientific exhibitions. We play host to remarkable arts, cultural, educational and community programs and international festivals. Once the site of Native American celebrations, Seattle Center continues to be a social and cultural gathering place for people around the world.
Just steps from the ferry is the old town Seattle, Pioneer Square. You never know what you are going to discover waltzing along the storied streets of Seattle's historic heart - enticing cuisine from the world's four corners, unique shops and delightful boutiques, epic pro sports, and night life ranging from manic to romantic. It's all here, waiting to be explored....

About the owner: Don is a native of Seattle and owner of a Marine Services company. He built his sailboat, a Westsail 32 which he lived on and off for 14 years raising 2 kids and sailed to Mexico and Alaska. Lois moved to Seattle when she was 11. Remembering the family vacations at their beach house on Whidbey Island prompted her to move to Bainbridge Island in 1997, leaving the bustling suburbs of Seattle behind. We have two spoiled little girls, Tootsie and Lolli, our little cocker spaniels that demand lots of attention from their parents. Wanting to share our experiences with our doggie girls is important to us which is why we welcome pets into our home. We hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do.
