As you step into our oceanfront villa, the views of the Atlantic Ocean are breathtaking! Our two bedroom, two and a half bath villa is located on the northeast tip of Fripp Island where the Atlantic Ocean and Fripp Inlet meet. Feel the sea breeze as you walk onto the balcony, directly above breaking waves at high tide.
While relaxing in our sunny, spacious home away from home, from the balcony and every window you will see and hear the ocean and watch the movement of dolphins, pelicans, herons, and egrets. You will be in your own private and beautiful world.
Despite this corner unit’s feeling of seclusion and privacy, our spacious villa provides easy access to all Fripp Island has to offer! It is only a short walk to the beautiful white sand beach, easily accessible from our villa at low tide, and to other amenities, including:
*The Ocean Point swimming pool
*Newhaven Village oceanfront deck and pavilion
*Ocean Point Golf Course, driving range, and clubhouse
*Surf fishing
*Ocean Point Grille for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
*Miles of scenic bike, walking, and jogging paths

Whether at sunrise, high noon, or by moonlight, your view of the Atlantic Ocean from the master bedroom on the second floor is extraordinary. The master bedroom has a queen bed; the second bedroom, two twin beds. Each bedroom has a bath with both tub and shower. A new sleeper couch in the living room is next to the half bath. Floors, living room furniture, and carpet have also been newly updated. We provide all linens except for beach towels.
Enjoy our fully equipped eat-in kitchen with refrigerator with ice-maker, stove, and microwave as well as our separate dining room. For your convenience, our freshly painted villa has cable TV and DVD, unlimited long distance calls, and washer and dryer. Garage parking for two cars is provided. Pets are not allowed, and smoking is not permitted.
Fripp Island has three and a half miles of gently sloping beaches; the water is 80 degrees from June through September. Deer, turtles, and other wildlife, including 175 species of birds, are abundant. In addition, the Fripp Island Resort amenities include:
*Full calendar of events, activities, and nature programs for families, children, and teens
*Eight swimming pools, a food court with great pizza, ice cream, and Starbucks, and nine eateries
*Two very highly rated 18 hole golf courses
*Ten tennis courts and a fitness center
*Deep-water marina with dry storage, crabbing docks, a fishing pier, and pontoon boat sunset and shelling excursions
*Grocery store, gift shops, fishing and boating supplies, and pro shops

You will be able to access all resort amenities with an amenity card. Two free amenity cards are included in your rental fee; additional cards can be purchased prior to your arrival.
For off-island adventures, the 5,000 acre Hunting Island State Park adjoins Fripp Island, with its accessible beaches, lighthouse, and 1120 foot fishing pier.
Nineteen miles from Fripp is beautiful Beaufort and its National Historic Landmark District with elegant homes and historic fort, shops and restaurants with local charm, and horse-drawn carriage rides. Savannah (60 miles), Charleston (90 miles), and Hilton Head (55 miles) are all an easy day trip away.

My husband and I spent the month of April at this lovely ocean front property. And it truly is ocean front. From every room in the house we had beautiful views of the ocean and were just a short walk to the beach. The unit provided everything we needed to perfectly comfortable. But the big draw for this particular unit is the location. It is literally surrounded by ocean. And for two Colorado natives, this was really a treat. We spent hours watching the many seabirds. Dolphins swam within a stones throw of our balcony. The only restaurant on the island that is open for breakfast (at least, during the time of year we were there) was right across the street from our unit. I can highly recommend the property. Two restaurants we really enjoyed were Johnson Creek Tavern on Harbor Island and Dockside on Lady's Island. You drive right past both of them going to Fripp. He also really enjoyed the Bonito Restaurant on Fripp--especially on the all you can eat crab night.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

What a view! Possibly the best view on the island. The condo was clean, spacious, and well furnished. Everything we needed was there. We could not get enough of the deck. We watched the sun rise every morning and had wine in the evening. Peg answered all of my questions and gave me several ideas for dinner, including the Gay Fish company for fresh shrimp. What a treat! Easy access to Charleston and Savannah. I will recommend this property to friends and relatives. We spent one day touring Charleston and another in Beaufort. My wife and I enjoy photography and we took hundreds of photos. i.e., Sheldon Church ruins, the Church of Ease, the old fort, downtown Beaufort, and sunsets every evening. We will most certainly return. Thank you, Peg and Howard. My husband and I and our two young boys were shocked and astonished at the absolutely amazing views of the water from every window at this villa. We did see dolphins one morning while we sat the breakfast table, and enjoyed seeing all the seagulls and pelicans flying by. One late afternoon we enjoyed walking on the sandbars outside of the villa when the tide was out, but we usually went to the beach off one of the beach access paths about a mile down the road. The beach was beautiful and clean. The villa was very comfortable and was furnished with everything we needed. Bed sheets and towels were high quality, it felt like we were at home. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

Our first visit to Fripp was a pass through in 2009 followed by a two week stay in a one bedroom New Haven villa in 2010, and most recently another two week stay in this great two bedroom "town house" style villa; we are from New England and, as we both approach retirement, are considering various Winter escape locations; we love tennis, golf, biking, fitness walking, & beach combing - Fripp is perfect for all of these activities and we found that either a light jacket or sweater were just right for the March weather although I did play golf in a Summer short sleeve shirt - we found there to be a feeling of community among the Winter population at the New Haven villas and the Ocean Point golf course is across the street - had cocktails and dinner at the nearby Bonita Boathouse but also enjoyed a night out in nearby Beaufort - overall Fripp was a good fit for us !!! Having the opportunity to stay at this two bedroom villa was the "icing on the cake" - the views of the ocean from every room are fantastic - at night we were lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf pounding the jetty below - during the day we could see dolphins cruising by just a few hundred feet from the living room balcony and flocks of pelicans and seagulls diving for fish; the stairs and second floor are carpeted wall-to-wall giving the space a very warm feeling; the hardwood floors and casual furnishings on the first floor were very inviting as well; the kitchen was well equiped with all the comforts of home - this villa was immaculate !! - the owner provided many tips before we arrived and was helpful in every way - we would definitely recommend this villa to friends and relatives - we would book it again in a heartbeat !!!! - looking forward to next year !Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.
