Reminiscent of the islands of Greece, Mykonos stands out brilliant and white against the Sea of Cortez. It is located next to the best surfer’s beach in the Baja. This unit is a corner unit with view of the ocean and swimming pools from the living room and kitchen. One of the nicest architecturally designed condo buildings in in Baja.
The condominium has all the furnishings, high speed internet, stereo and DVD. There is a king-size bed in the master bedroom with beutifull morning sunrise and a sofa in the living room for one person. Maximum occupancy is TWO ADULTS and 1 Child. Boogie-board, fishing pole, and snorkeling equipment is included.2 single seater and 1 double seater kayak is available. Stayed here for 8 nights in late July. Condo was comfortable and enjoyable. The ad accurately describes location and amenities. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, lush and green. The property felt very secure and safe, the gym is well equipped and maintained, but has no A/C. Speaking of A/C it was out in the condo when we first arrived and took about 24 hours to get fixed so the first night was pretty sticky and unpleasant. The property manager, Eva, managed to get it fixed the next day after a short delay. The fridge, oven, stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, washer and dryer were all in good working order. The wi-fi worked flawlessly as did the satellite TV. The TV is kind of small but adequate for the space, overall the living area is a little on the small side, the kitchen average sized for a one bedroom unit. The bedroom is spacious and the bath area large and roomy with plenty of room for two in the shower :-) There is ample storage in bath and bedroom and adequate cabinet space in the kitchen. Plenty of quality cookware was provided along with enough place settings and silverware. The owner obviously like to cook. The barbeque grill was a nice touch and we grilled several nights. We found the big king sized bed to be comfortable. The neighbors we met at the pool were friendly and entertaining. Good surf breaks are within walking distance. There were lots of little extras around that kept us from having to buy a lot of incidentals like matches, foil, salt, pepper, seasoning, paper products, tape, glue etc. Those things that you just need a bit of and don't want to have to buy on vacation. There were plenty of towels and sheets. The sports and recreational items were of good quality, although I brought and used my own fishing and snorkeling equipment, the equipment provided looked to be better than what I expected. The optional kayak was a nice touch although it was heavy and slow, the paddles provided were of good quality with comfortable high back seats and good life vests. There were a few issues, the above mentioned A/C problems inconvenienced us for the first day, and while the floors, sheets, and counter tops were clean, the cabinets, fridge, and storage areas are in need of a good deep scrubbing. The living area furniture is a bit cramped and not very comfortable. The traffic noise was bothersome at first (with the windows open). There was no room safe. The good outweighed the bad and we would stay againRecommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

My husband and I just got back from staying for almost 4 weeks at this condo. The resort was on the quiet end of the beach on the Sea of Cortez. Within walking distance to the bus stop which we took very regular, 8 pesos per person to either the Mega, or within a short walk to downtown San Jose through the side streets, or to the Soriana Major Shopping grocery store. The property & grounds are very well maintained and clean. Was a surprise to find that we did have TV viewing. Free high speed internet available, easy to keep in touch back home in BC Canada. Loved being right on the beach. Relaxing in the sun, getting sunrise photos, walking back to the condo to refresh our drinks right from the beach was an option we loved. A short walk away to a little store behind Zippers Restaurant for the large bottles of Pacifico beer. Watching the surfers right from our kitchen window, or a short walk along the beach. Even though the condo resort was right beside the highway, the noise was not noticeable after awhile. Very easy to get around to town. We never went out at night, but the taxi service is very reasonable. From downtown San Jose near Shooters Bar.. cheap beer $1 and wonderful atmosphere, to the Mykonos was $7. Eva and Warren were very easy to talk to and very helpful. Would recommend staying here, and will stay again in the future. The only thing I would recommend to improve apon would be a better bed.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
